Why Messiah was sent

The Father told us from the beginning through His prophets about His son the Messiah Yahusha (Yeshua) that will come. Amos 3:7 For the Master Yahuah does no matter unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

Has Father Yahuah made the Messiah a mystery to us or is it us that are taught wrong about the Messiah’s mission.

Let us read what scripture tells us about the Messiah and why he was sent.

Hear what Father says to Moses in Deuteronomy 18:15-16 and 18-19.

I shall raise up a prophet to them from among their brothers, one like you (Moses); and I will put My Words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him. And it shall be, whoever will not listen to My Words which he shall speak in My name, I will require it at his hand.

The apostles mention the same words given to Moses about this prophet in Acts 3:22-23.

“For Mosheh truly said to the fathers, ‘Yahuah your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear according to all matters, whatever He says to you.‘ And it shall be that every being who does not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

Who was this prophet?

Acts 3:20-21 And that He may send forth the One before proclaimed to you, Yahusha Messiah, whom Heaven truly needs to receive until the fullness of the times of all things, of which Elohim spoke through the mouth of all His holy prophets from old. Read Acts 3:22-23 above again to confirm the prophet mentioned to Moses in Deuteronomy 18:18.

Acts 3:26 Having raised up His child Yahusha, Elohim sent Him first to you, blessing you if you turn back and repent from your iniquities (sin).

What did the people and apostles say about the Messiah? Was he a prophet?

John 6:14 Then the men, having seen the sign that Yahusha did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is coming to the world.”

John 7:40 Then hearing the Word, many of the crowd said, this is truly the Prophet.

Matthew 21:10-11 And as He entered into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, “Who is this?” And the crowds said, “This is Yahusha, the prophet from Natsareth of Galilee.”

Father placed His Words on Yahusha lips to teach the people. These Words where the same Words Moses taught the people given through Yahuah.

John 7:16 Yahusha answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. John 14:24 “He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me.

The Words that Yahusha spoke where the commandments from Yahuah as written in John 12:49-50.

For I did not speak from Myself, but He who sent Me, the Father, He has given Me command, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that His commandments are eternal life. Then what things I speak, as the Father has said to Me, so I speak.

Yahusha spoke about the commandments which are internal life as we read in Matthew 19:16-17  “if you will enter into (internal) life, guard the commandments”.

Moses also said the commandments is internal life - Deuteronomy 32:45-47, verse 47 “For it is not a worthless Word for you, because it is your life, and by this Word you prolong your days on the soil which you pass over the Yardan to possess.”

Majority of people in Moses’ time did not believe what Moses said just like Yahusha says people will not believe him.

John 5:46-47 For if you were believing Moses, you would then believe Me; for that one wrote concerning Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My Words?

Disobedience was a problem in those days and still is a problem today, with many losing their lives.

Hebrews 3:17-18 And with whom was He grieved forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they would not enter into His rest, but to those who did not obey?

Hebrews 4:1-2 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering into His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the Good News was brought to us as well as to them, but the word which they heard did not profit them, not having been mixed with belief in those who heard it.

Hebrews 3 and 4 speaks of the people that died in the wilderness because of sin (sin is lawlessness = commandments). They were disobedience to the commandments (Torah) of Yahuah. But Yahuah still keeps to His promise by giving us the opportunity to enter into this internal life. Through Yahusha’s offer we can receive His Word (commandments) and have internal life. Obedience is the evidence of faith and both are needed to enter Yahuah's kingdom – both go hand in hand.

Yahusha said he is the way, the truth and life.

What is the way?

Judges 2:17 However, they did not listen to their rulers either, but went whoring after other mighty ones, and bowed down to them. They soon turned aside from the way in which their fathers walked, in obeying the commands of Yahuah – they did not do so.

The commandments are the way.

What is the truth?

Psalm 119:142 Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and Your commandments (Torah) is truth.

The commandments are the way and the truth.

What is life?

Deuteronomy 32:45-47 And when Mosheh ended speaking all these words to all Yisra’el, he said to them, “Set your heart on all the words with which I warn you today, so that you command your children to guard to do all the Words of this Torah. “For it is not a worthless Word for you, because it is your life, and by this Word you prolong your days on the soil which you pass over the Yardan to possess.”

The commandments are the way, the truth and give life.

Yahusha did not teach against his father’s commands.

Matthew 5:17-18 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.

Those who do not follow the commandments of Yahuah, who are lawless will not find rest (Father’s kingdom).

Matthew 7:21-23 It will not be that just everyone who says to Me, Master, Master, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Master, Master, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power? And then I will declare to them, from everlasting, I never knew you; "depart from Me, those working lawlessness!"

If we hear but don’t do, if we do not obey, it is all in vain.

What does Paul say in Romans 2:18 and know the desire of Elohim, and approve what is superior, being instructed out of the Torah.

Yahusha was not sent to be worshipped but to teach us the commandments of Yahuah.

Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for the sake of many.

John 12:49-50 “Because I spoke not from Myself, but the Father who sent Me has given Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. “And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, as the Father has said to Me, so I speak.”

Matthew 19:17 And He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One –Elohim. But if you wish to enter into life, guard the commands.”

Proof that we love Yahuah is this: Whether we obey Yahusha as He commands us to keep the Father’s commands!

Yahusha did the will of his Father and spoke His words but many did not receive his testimony but rather listen to man’s testimony.

John 3:32-33 And what He has seen and heard, this He testifies, and no one receives His testimony. The one receiving His testimony has verified that Yahuah is true.

Yahusha’s testimony verifies that Yahuah is the truth.

What will happen to those who receives the testimony from Yahusha and then walk in the commands of Yahuah?

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was enraged over the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, those keeping the commandments of Yahuah, and having the testimony of Yahusha Messiah.

These are those who will be prosecuted: having the testimony of Yahusha and keeping the commandments of Yahuah. It is not those following Judaism or the Christianity religion.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones – and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them –and the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the witness they bore to Yahusha and because of the Word of Elohim, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years.

Yahusha came for the sinners from the lost sheep of Yisra’el.

Mark 2:17 And hearing this, Yahusha said to them, “Those who are strong have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.”

Matthew 15:24 And He answering, said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’el.”

We have been misled by man’s religion: Christianity teaches that the Messiah must be worshipped (he is God) and the commandments are done away with. Judaism on the other hand teaches various men are the messiah, Yisra’el is only from a certain group of people and man’s additions to commandments must be followed.

We need the testimony of Yahusha Messiah and to walk in the commandments of Yahuah.

Yahusha was sent in the flesh, not to be worshipped but to free us, to make atonement for us, to witness/teach us the commandments so we can repent/return back to Father Yahuah and His internal covenant through His Ruach (Hebrews 2).

Concerning death

Have you like I wondered what happens when we die? Well, there is a scripture passage that explains what happens to us when we die. This scripture texts are not found in our normal scripture like example KJV, ESV, or any other popular bibles.

The words concerning death is found in 4 Ezra 7:75-101 also known as 2 Esdras. 2 Esdras (4 Ezra) will only be found in the 1611 version of KJV (Apocrypha) and the Geneva bible but the part concerning death is missing. 2 Esdras (4 Ezra)chapter 7 ends at verse 70 in 1611 KJV and Geneva bibles. The Cepher (Cepher publishing group) includes chapter 7 from verse 1 to 140.

Why was the book of 2 Esdras (4 Ezra) removed and why did those bibles who included this book have chapter 7 end at verse 70? I do not have the answer to why the book was excluded but do know how important it is to us after reading it.

Ezra receives the message concerning death in a vision/dream given by Yahuah through His angel.

Ezra asks in verse 75 whether after death our soul (ruach) is kept in rest until the end or whether the soul will be tormented at once.

Verse 78 When the decree is given by Yahuah when a man shall die, his ruach shall leave his body and return to Him who gave it which shall adore the glory of Yahuah.

Verse 79-80 Those who did not have faith and did not follow the way of Yahuah and despised his commands (Torah), plus hated those who feared Yahauh; their spirits shall not enter into a special place but shall immediately wander in torments, grieving and be sad in seven ways.

1)      Because they rejected the Torah of Yahuah (verse 81).

2)      Because they could not make a good repentance for them to live (verse 82).

3)      They will see all the rewards given to those who have trusted the covenants of Yahuah (verse 83).

4)      They shall think carefully the sufferings laid up for themselves in the last days (verse 84).

5)      They shall see the people in the special place been guarded by angels in profound quiet (verse 85).

6)      They shall see how some of them will pass into torments (suffering) (verse 86).

7)      The worse of all the above; because they shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame and shall die with fear at seeing the glory of Yahuah before whom they sinned while they were alive, and before they are to be judged in the last days (verse 87).

Verse 88-89 Those who have guarded the ways of Yahuah when they shall be separated from their mortal body and during the time they lived in it, they served Yahuah, withstood danger every hour to guard the Torah of Yahuah perfectly.

Verse 90-91 They shall see with great joy the glory of Him who receives them, for they shall have rest in seven ways.

1)      Because they have strived with great effort to overcome the evil thoughts which was with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death (verse 92).

2)      Because they see the inability in which the souls of the wicked wander, and the punishment that awaits them (verse 93).

3)      They see the witness of which who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive, they guarded the Torah which was given to them in trust (verse 94).

4)      They understood the rest they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days (verse 95).

5)      They rejoice from what they have escaped what is corruptible and shall inherit what is to come; besides they see the narrow path and toll from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they will receive and enjoy in immortality (verse 96).

6)      It is shown to them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from then on (verse 97).

7)      The greater of all the above; because they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they quickly go to observe the face of Him whom they served in life and from whom they are to receive their reward when glorified (verse 98).

Verse 100 Ezra asks if there will be time given to the souls, after they have separated from the bodies, to see what the angel have described to him?

Verse 101 the angel’s answer given to Ezra: They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations.

Test everything said and heard.

The golden cup

Babylon was a golden cup in the hand of Yahuah, making all the earth drunk. The nations have drunk of her wine, therefore the nations are mad - Jeremiah 51:7.

Babylon was a tool in the hand of Yahuah to bring punishment on Judah. Babylon has now made the world mad with its idols and system, but this all will change in the end time. Jeremiah 51 prophesies the destruction of Babylon in the end times (Jeremiah 51:47 & 52 says the days are coming).

Revelation 17:1-5 And one of the seven messengers who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying to me, “Come, I shall show you the judgment of the great whore sitting on many waters*, with whom the sovereigns of the earth committed whoring, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her whoring.” And he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast covered with names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns .And the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup filled with abominations and the filthiness of her whoring, and upon her forehead a name written, a secret: BABEL THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE WHORES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

*And he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and crowds, and nations, and tongues – Revelation 17:15.

Jeremiah 51:13 You who dwell upon many waters, great in treasures, your end has come, the measure of your greedy gain.

Revelation 18:6 “Render to her as she indeed did render, and repay her double according to her works. In the cup which she has mixed, mix for her double.

The ruin of Babylon – Jeremiah 51:29-32.

Jeremiah 51:37-41 And Babylon shall become heaps, a home for jackals, a horror and a hissing, without even one inhabitant. They shall roar together like lions, they shall growl like lions' cubs. In their heat, I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunk so that they rejoice and sleep a never-ending sleep and never awaken, says Yahuah. I shall bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he-goats. How Sheshach is captured! And how the praise of all the earth isseized! How Babylon has become a ruin among the nations!

Revelation 18:2, the land of Babylon in the end will be a deserted wilderness like Sodom. Babylon which is the richest and most powerful nation on earth will become desolate -Revelation 18:8-10.

Jeremiah 51:60-62 So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come on Babylon, all these words that are written against Babylon. And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, when you come to Babylon and shall see and shall cry all these words, then you shall say, O Yahuah, You have spoken against this place to cut it off so that none shall remain in it, from man to animal, but it shall be a ruin forever.

Just like John in Revelation, Jeremiah saw the destruction of Babylon. Jeremiah wrote this all down in a book which was read to the nation and then thrown into the river – Jeremiah 51:63.

Jeremiah 51:64 And you shall say, in this way Babylon shall sink and shall not rise from the evil that I am bringing on her.

Revelation 18:21 And one mighty messenger picked up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “With such a rush the great city Babel shall be thrown down, and shall not be found any more at all.
