Woman from Samaria

John 4:1-43, is about Messiah speaking to a Samaritan woman at the well of Jacob. Let’s look at verses 20-24 of John 4.

The woman said to Messiah her forefathers worshipped on the mountain they were standing on but the Jews say that only in Jerusalem can Father be worshipped - verse 20.

Messiah then said, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you shall neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father - verse 21.

What did Messiah mean!!! "You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because the deliverance is of the Yedudim (Jews) - verse 22.

Let’s see what the Messiah meant by this.

Psalm 147:19, Declaring His Word to Jacob, His laws and His right-rulings to Israel.

Isaiah 2:3, And many peoples shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahuah, to the House of the Elohim of Jacob, and let Him teach us His ways, and let us walk in His paths, for out of Sion (Tsiyon) comes forth the Torah (law), and the Word of Yahuah from Jerusalem."

 

Isaiah 14:1, Because Yahuah has compassion on Jacob, and shall again choose Israel, and give them rest in their own land. And the strangers shall join them, and they shall cling to the house of Jacob.

Isaiah 56:6-8, "Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to Yahuah (Heavenly Father), to serve Him, and to love the Name of Yahuah, to be His servants, all who guard the Sabbath, and not profane it, and are holding onto My covenant. Them I shall bring to My set-apart mountain, and let them rejoice in My house of prayer.......... for My house is called a house of prayer for the people's." The Master Yahuah, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, declares, "I gather still others (nations) to him (Israel) besides those who are gathered to him."

Are you starting to understand?

Ezekiel 47:22-23, “And it shall be that you divide it by lot as an inheritance for yourselves, and for the strangers who sojourn in your midst and who bear children among you. And they shall be to you as native-born among the children of Israel - with you they have inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Israel. "And it shall be that in whatever tribe the stranger sojourns, there you give him his inheritance," declares the Master Yahuah.

Zechariah 2:10-11, "Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Sion (Tsiyon)! For look, I am coming and shall dwell in your midst," declares Yahuah. "And many nations shall be joined to Yahuah in that day, and they shall become My people. And I shall dwell in your midst. And you shall know that Yahuah of hosts has sent Me to you.

Zechariah 8:23, "This said Yahuah of hosts, In those days ten men from all languages of the nations take hold, yes, they shall take hold of the edge of the garment of a man, a Yehudi (Jew = tribe Judah), saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that Elohim is with you."

Romans 2:20, an instructor of foolish ones, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and of the truth in the Torah (law) (tribes of Judah).

Romans 3:2, much in every way! Because firstly indeed, that they (Yehudi - Jew) were entrusted with the Words of Elohim.

Romans 9:4, who are the children of Israel, to whom is the adoption, and the esteem, and the covenants, and the giving of the Torah, and the worship, and the promises.

Revelation 21:12, and having a great and high wall, having 12 gates, and at the gates 12 messengers, and names written on them which are those of the 12 tribes of the children of Israel.

Revelation 21:24, and the nations, of those who are saved, shall walk in its light, and the sovereigns of the earth bring their esteem into it.

Are you getting the picture now? Let’s go back to John 4:23-24.....

Then Messiah says the following to the woman at the well: (John 4:23, )"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him.

Verse 24, "Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth."

Now what is worship or worshippers mean - it is obedience, by worshipping Elohim you are obeying Him.

Elohim is Spirit and we have a spirit, therefore our spirit, which is given by Father, connects to His Spirit which is in us once we have accepted Him(been born from above).

What is truth - the Torah is truth (it teaches Fathers' ways) and who is the living Torah, it is Yahusha Messiah (Jesus), who came to renew it with us all.

The scriptures clearly state (different chapters) that strangers/other nations can and did join to Israel and were accepted into one of the tribes and were adopted into Israel – known as an Israelite.

It is also very clear reading the scripture from Genesis to Revelation that only Israel will enter into the new Kingdom of Yahuah.

Clearly in scripture there is a seed that is bad which follows satan and there is a good seed that follows the only living Elohim, who created the heavens and the earth and everything in it and He is Yahuah (Heavenly Father).

An Israelite is not about color, your looks, your good manners, your success or how well you know the scriptures it is about complying with the covenant of Yahuah and having the Torah written on your heart, having the witness of Messiah and loving Him with all your mind, soul and heart.

To Heavenly Father it is all about your heart. Your heart will be in covenant with Yahusha (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit will teach you His covenant.

Father knows who you worshipping when He looks into your heart.

Spiritual death

Say to Israel, 'My Sabbaths you are to guard (keep) by all means, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, Yahuah (Heavenly Father), am setting you apart - Exodus 31:13.

'And you shall keep the Sabbath, for it is set-apart (Holy) to you. Everyone who profaned it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, shall be cut off - Exodus 31:14.

'Six days work is done, and on the 7th is a Sabbath of rest, set-apart to Father - Exodus 31:15.

We see in these verses that the Sabbath is set-apart, a sign and a rest between Yahuah and Israel.

Father says 3 times (verse 14 = 2x & 15) that someone that profaned the Sabbath will die or be cut off.

Father says 3 times that the Sabbath is set-apart (Holy).

Father also says 2 times that it is a sign between Israel and Him, in verse 17 He says it is a sign forever. In verse 16, Father says Israel shall keep and perform the Sabbath for all generations as an EVERLASTING covenant (meaning always).

Okay, most people reading this will say that agreement (covenant) is between Israel and Heavenly Father and not them! Really, this is what many are taught!

Paul says that we are no longer Jew or Greek (gentile/Christian), slave or foreigner, but Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) is ALL and IN all - Galatians 3:28 & Colossians 3:11.

So if we are not Jew or Gentile then what are we? We are of Messiah Yahusha!

Messiah tells us in Luke 1:33 who the people will be that will be with Him in His Kingdom to come; "He (the Messiah) shall reign over the house of Israel (Jacob) forever, and there shall be no end to His Kingdom."

Messiah said He only came for the lost sheep of Israel - Matthew 15:24.

We know that Messiah Yahusha was at the beginning of Creation (John 1:2) and He was there when the 7th day of creation was made set-apart (Holy).

He was also there when Israel was told to keep the Sabbath set-apart and that it was a sign between Israel and Him forever and ever - Exodus 31:13-17, Exodus 20:8, Genesis 2:2-3, Exodus 16:23, Exodus 35:1-3.

So who are we today, we are not a Jew nor Gentile but still Israel and tomorrow we will still be Israel, this will never change, it is forever.

Are you keeping His Sabbaths?

Many may say "I am not keeping Sabbath but I have not died yet! Like scripture says would happen".

Almighty Father/Messiah's character is mentioned in Exodus 34:6-7; He is patient, showing grace, great in loving-commitment, truth, watching over in loving commitment, forgiving wickedness and sin.

But He also says that no sin will go unpunished and the punishment will even go to the third and fourth generation.

So when Elohim said that those that profane the Sabbath will die, He is patient, loving and shows grace but if that person does not want to listen, sometime down the line, punishment will come.

Remember we worship Him in spirit and truth and if we keep on sinning and do not listen to His Spirit (Holy Spirit) our spirit will die slowly.

Lastly, in Revelation 12:17 & 14:12, satan the devil, goes after the people that are set-apart and keep the commandments to Elohim and who believe in Yahusha (Jesus).

Can you see the Old and New Testament tie-up with each other – satan goes after those that believe in Messiah and which keep the commands. The Sabbath is part of the commands.

The 4th commandment is part of His 10 commandments (Words) and is a sign between Israel, the set-apart ones and the Almighty Creator, why is it we choose to ignore this one and say its "nailed to the cross" but don't go out and murder because it’s one of the commandments or do we get to choose what's important to us?

I wonder how our Almighty Father feels about this.

James 2:10, for whoever shall guard all the Torah (Commands), and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

This verse warns us once again to keep all Ten Words (Commands).

Show us Your ways Yahuah, may Your Spirit (Holy Spirit) teach us Your ways.

My Shepherd – Psalm 23

Yahuah is my shepherd; I do not lack.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters.

He turns back my being; He leads me in paths of righteousness For His Name's sake.

When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil.

For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You spread before me a table in the face of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup runs over.

Only goodness and loving-commitment follow me all the days of my life; And I shall dwell in the House of Yahuah, to the length of days!

WOW, how powerful is Psalm 23? HalleluYAH to my Creator! I lack nothing!

If I walk in His path, His will, His commandments, He will protect me all the days of my life.

If He is with me, who can be against me? No one! Not satan, nothing, nobody!

We give thanks to You forever; from generation to generation we show forth Your praise - Psalm 79:13.

Know that Yahuah, He is Elohim; He has made us, and we are His - Psalm 100:3.

My Heavenly Father, Almighty Creator of Isaac, Jacob and Josef are an awesome Almighty King! I cannot wait to be in His Kingdom.

Come, my Messiah Yahusha (Jesus), Come.

The Power of the Creator

Jeremiah 51:15-16, He made the earth by His power, He established the world by His wisdom, and stretched out the heavens by His understanding. When He gives forth His voice the waters in the heavens roar, and He makes vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain, and He brings the wind out of His treasures.

HalleluYah!  How great is our Heavenly Father!

All mankind has become too brutish (foolish/uncivilized) to know, every smith has been put to shame by the carved image, for his moulded image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. They are worthless, a work of mockery. In the time of their punishment they perish - Jeremiah 51:17-18.

People rely on the world system - Babylon (the carved image). This moulded image (your work, your car, your house, alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling, pride, etc.) is all falsehood and keeps you away from the Creator, all these worldly things have no breath in them, they are worthless, and it is actually a work of mockery.

These are hard words but it is true! If you are a believer in Yahusha Messiah (Jesus) then you need to “come out of her My people.”

These moulded images will perish.

The Portion of Jacob (Israel) is not like them, for He (The Creator Father) is the Maker of all, and Israel is the tribe of His inheritance. Yahuah of hosts is His Name - Jeremiah 51:19.

Give thanks to Yahuah, for He is good!

Read the complete Psalm 136, it is about all the wonders of the Almighty Father Yahuah.

Psalm 136; Give thanks to Yahuah, for He is good! For His kindness is everlasting. Give thanks to the Elohim of mighty ones! For His kindness is everlasting. Give thanks to the Master of masters! For His kindness is everlasting: To Him who alone does great wonders, for His kindness is everlasting; To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, for His kindness is everlasting; To Him who spread the earth on the waters, for His kindness is everlasting; To Him who made great lights, for His kindness is everlasting; The sun to rule by day, for His kindness is everlasting; The moon and stars to rule by night, for His kindness is everlasting. Who remembered us in our humiliation, for His kindness is everlasting; and rescued us from our adversaries, for His kindness is everlasting; who gives food to all flesh, for His kindness is everlasting. Give thanks to the El of the heavens! For His kindness is everlasting.

His loving-commitment is everlasting, He never changes, He never lies.

Give thanks to Him, our Creator, the most High.

True New Born

“And Yahusha (Jesus) Messiah said to him, `Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born from above, he is unable to see the Kingdom of Elohim’ ”- John 3:3.

John 3:5-7: “Yahusha answered, `Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he is unable to enter into the reign of Elohim. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Sprit is Spirit. “Do not marvel that I said to you `you have to be born from above.’”

What are the characteristics of a person who is born from above with the Spirit?

1) Joy is the first expression of freedom.

2) A desire: a) for the Word of Elohim, b) for fellowshipping with other believers, and c) for His Presence in prayer, praise and worship, and stillness.

3) The fruit of the new nature will manifest in a desire for righteousness rather than the things of the old life. You will feel dead to the old ways of darkness and alive unto your new life in Him.

4) A new love for people, even enemies and His creation.

5) A desire to witness to your new faith.

  

6) A new freedom from cares and worry-- like a little child. Trusting Father in all things!

7) A desire to let the Spirit teach, and guide and empower and fill you and change you into the image of Yahusha the Messiah, your Beloved.

8) A desire to be baptized into the Set-apart (Holy) Spirit by Yahusha, and purged of all sin by the fire of His Presence.

9) A desire to know His will and to obey it on a daily basis as a good servant.

10) A desire to cleanse His temple (your body) and purify your life, so that you are a “vessel unto honor”.

11) An insatiable desire to know Him, to know His nature and His ways, how He Thinks, how He does things, what are His passions, His sorrows, His joys.

12) An insatiable desire for the return of Yahusha (Jesus), your Beloved, and the establishment of His Kingdom on earth.

Yahusha (Jesus), please come!

Born of the Spirit

To be born again:

1) Repent is to turn away from all sin, past and present with great eager, asking forgiveness and removal of all the penalty of the sin, turning away from satan's way. Be completely depended on Heavenly Father for your salvation and for your deliverance. We are helpless sinners and without Him we are doomed to eternal punishment in the lake of fire forever - Romans 3:23-26 for all have sinned and fall short of the esteem of Elohim, being declared right, without paying, by His favour through the redemption which is in Messiah Yahusha, whom Elohim set forth as an atonement, through belief in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His tolerance Elohim had passed over the sins that had taken place before, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He is righteous and declares righteous the one who has belief in Yahusha (Jesus).

You have been bought (as a bond-slave) with the precious blood of Yahusha Messiah, so turn from the sin that put Him on the stake (cross), and receive His righteousness - Isaiah 55:7; Let the wrong forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahuah, who has compassion on him, and to our Elohim, for He pardons much. Isaiah 44:22; “I shall wipe out your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I shall redeem you.” Acts 2:38; And Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each one of you be immersed in the Name of Yahusha Messiah for the forgiveness of sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Set-apart Spirit. Acts 3:19; “Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master,… Psalm 103:12-13; As far as east is from west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion for his children, so Yahuah has compassion for those who fear Him. Proverbs 28:13; He who hides his transgressions does not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them finds compassion. Colossians 1:13-14; who has delivered us from the authority of darkness and transferred us into the reign of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,..  2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a renewed creature – the old matters have passed away, see, all matters have become renewed! And all matters are from Elohim, who has restored us to favour with Himself through Yahusha Messiah, and has given us the service of restoration to favour, that is, that Elohim was in Messiah restoring the world to favour unto Himself, not reckoning their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of restoration to favour. Therefore we are envoys on behalf of Messiah, as though Elohim were pleading through us. We beg, on behalf of Messiah: Be restored to favour with Elohim. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of Elohim.

2) Receive the Word of Elohim concerning Yahusha by faith: Ephesians 2:8-10; For by favour you have been saved, through belief, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of Elohim, it is not by works, so that no one should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Messiah Yahusha unto good works, which Elohim prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Romans 10:9-10; That if you confess with your mouth the Master Yahusha and believe in your heart that Elohim has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, and so is saved. Romans 5:1-2; Therefore, having been declared right by belief, we have peace with Elohim through our Master Yahusha Messiah, through whom also we have access by belief into this favour in which we stand, and we exult in the expectation of the esteem of Elohim. Galatians 2:16; knowing that a man is not declared right by works of Torah, but through belief in Yahusha Messiah, even we have believed in Messiah Yahusha, in order to be declared. It is a gift, but you must commit everything to Him to receive it.

He offers no cheap grace. He expects Covenant commitment. Heavily consider the price of switching Masters: Luke 4:15-33… You are no longer your own…your total being belongs to Him. I Corinthians 6:19-20; Or do you not know that your body is the Dwelling Place of the Set-apart Spirit who is in you, which you have from Elohim, and you are not your own? For you were bought with a price, therefore esteem Elohim in your body and in your spirit, which are of Elohim.

“No one can serve two masters”, so we must choose. We must come out of the kingdom of darkness totally to embrace the Kingdom of light.

3) Confess Yahusha Messiah as your Master before men: Matthew 10:32-33; everyone, therefore, who shall confess Me before men, him I shall also confess before My Father who is in the heavens. “But whoever shall deny Me before men, him I shall also deny before My Father who is in the heavens. I John 4:14-15; and we have seen and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son, Saviour of the world. Whoever confesses that Yahusha is the Son of Elohim, Elohim stays in him, and he in Elohim.

And be baptized (immersed in water) Acts 2:38; Romans chapter 6, as a public witness to your new birth, publicly showing that you have died to your old life, and have been raised into His new life.

If you have been truly born again, the fruit of it will immediately show out to all. Your whole goal, thinking, desires, direction will change to match that of your new Master.

We are commanded to “work out your salvation with fear and trembling” - (Philippians 2:12).

Our names can be removed from His Book of Life if we so desire. He will do everything in His power to stop us—but one thing He won’t do is to stand against our free will.

4) Evidence of the True New Birth and exhortation: The born again person hungers and thirsts for Truth in His Word, as a baby hungers for milk, and then, as they grow, “the meat of the Word”.

“Study to show yourself approved unto Elohim…” Hebrews 5:12 in order that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through belief and patience inherit the promises. 2 Timothy 2:15, Do your utmost to present yourself approved to Elohim, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the Word of Truth.

The Spirit will teach you the Word. He will guide you into all Truth. John 14:15-17 “If you love Me, you shall guard My commands. “And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever – the Spirit of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you.  John 16:13 “But when He comes, the Spirit of the Truth, He shall guide you into all the truth. For He shall not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears He shall speak, and He shall announce to you what is to come.  I John 2:27, But the anointing which you have received from Him stays in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as the same anointing does teach you concerning all, and is true, and is no falsehood, and even as it has taught you, you stay in Him.

He will show you things to come. Father’s Spirit is dwelling inside of you, to bring you to complete fulfillment of why Yahusha died for you, and why you were drawn to His salvation.

You did not enter into a religion, but you have been brought into a Covenant relationship with the eternal Elohim, Love the truth, keep it and protect it! -- HIS Word is Truth! - John 17:17. Psalm 119:142, Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and Your Torah is truth. Psalm 119:160, the sum of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous right-rulings are forever.

Speak to Him daily in prayer. Study His Word and obey it.

Receive His Spirit into your life to teach you and transform you. Luke 3:16; John answered, saying to them all, “I indeed immerse you in water, but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal straps I am not worthy to loosen. He shall immerse you in the Set-apart Spirit and fire. 2 Corinthians 3:18, And we all, as with unveiled face we see as in a mirror the esteem of Yahuah, are being transformed into the same likeness from esteem to esteem, as from Yahuah, the Spirit.

Be sure to fellowship with believers, who have been born again, and who are walking in the light of His Word.

Keep sin confessed. I John 1:5-9, but whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning. Again I write you a fresh command, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light now shines. The one who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in the darkness until now.

But walk in obedience to His Torah (Laws), for “sin is the transgression of the Torah” I John 3:4, everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

Don’t fall back into the darkness. Lean on Him totally for your help. He is your strength, the source of all your needs. He is “the way, the truth and the life” - John 14:6.

Praise the Almighty Yah
