The purpose of Messiah – Hebrews 2

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Those who have heard the truth must keep to the truth, preventing from drifting away – Hebrews 2:1.

The angels were not given the authority over all and the Word was not spoken by the angels to give us deliverance but by the Master Yahusha Himself and confirmed by those who heard Him. The Elohim also beard witness both with signs and wonders with various miracles, and gifts of the Set-apart Spirit, distributedaccording to His own desire – Hebrews 2:2-5.

One witnessed saying, “What is man that You (Yahuah) remember him, or the son of man that You (Yahuah) look after him?“ You have made him a little lower than Elohim. You have crowned him with esteem and respect, and set him over the works of Your hands. “You have put all in subjection underhis feet” – Hebrews 2:6-8.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

David speaks about the works of Yahuah and what He gave to us to rule over here on this earth – Psalms 8:1-9. Yahuah made man to rule over the things in the world – Genesis 1:26. Hebrews 2:8 confirms our rule over the works of Yahuah’s hands.

Because of ours sins, Yahusha who was made for a while lower than the angels was sent to taste death for everyone. Through His sufferings, the Prince brought forth deliverance (save) by the grace of Elohim – Hebrews 2:9-10.

Yahuah who sets apart and those who are being set apart are all of One. He (Yahusha) calls them brothers saying, “I shall announce Your Name (Yahuah) to My brothers, in the midst of the congregation I shall sing praise to You (Yahuah).” And again, “I shall put My trust inHim.” And again, “See, I and the children whom Elohim gave Me” – Hebrews 2:11-13.

I cause Your Name to be remembered in all generations; Therefore, the people praise You forever and ever – Psalm 45:17.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“I have revealed Your Name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have guarded Your Word – John 17:6 & John 16:26.

Yahusha was sent to the world in flesh and blood to simulate us as flesh and blood so that by means of His death He might destroy the devil having the power of death, and deliver those who throughout life were held in slavery by fear of death – Hebrews 2:14-15.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fear brings bondage of mind and soul which Yahusha freed us from.

He (Yahusha) does not take likeness of angels, but He does take the likeness of the seed of Abraham (He came in the flesh not in spirit as the angels are) – Hebrews 2:16.

Yahusha had to be made like us (His brothers), in order to become a compassionate (merciful) and trustworthy (faithful) High Priest in matters related to Elohim, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

For in what He (Yahusha) had suffered, Himself being tried (tempted), He is able to help those who are tried (tempted) – Hebrews 2:17-18.

 

 

The greatness of Messiah – Hebrews 1

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Almighty spoke to his people through the prophets but in these days, He speaks to us through His Son Messiah Yahusha who has made clean our sins and is appointed the King of all, sitting at the right side of Yahuah – Hebrews 1:1-3.

Messiah has become higher than all the angels with an excellent Name, Yahusha – meaning “Yah-saves.” The angels are all serving spirits sent out to look after the believers who are saved – Hebrews 1:4, Hebrews 1:7 and Hebrews 1:14.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yahuah never said the angels are His Son or that He told them He would be like a Father to them but He said His Son would be on the throne forever with a straight rod (scepter) – Hebrews 1:5 & Hebrews 1:8.

He also never told the angels to sit at His right hand, until He makes the enemies a footstool for His feet – Hebrews 1:13.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why did Yahuah choose Yahusha to be His Son?

David tells us in Psalm 45:6-7 why Yahusha was the chosen Messiah – Because He loved righteousness and hated wickedness and therefore Yahuah anointed Him with oil and gave Him the sceptre for His Kingdom and over all the angels. Confirmed again in Hebrews 1:8-9 of Yahuah witnessing of His Son.

Psalm 45:6-7 Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever; The sceptre of Your reign is a sceptre of straightness. You have loved righteousness andhated wrongness; Therefore Elohim, Your Elohim, hasanointed You with the oil of gladness more thanYour companions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Should we as true believers not have the Messiah living in us and as Yahusha should the true believer not have the same mind as Him by loving righteousness and hating sin (wickedness).

Yahusha was at the beginning when the earth and heavens were created and they shall perish and grow old one day but at the end of time they shall be changed but not the Messiah Yahusha as He will not change or fail – Hebrews 1:10-12.

The greatest news of all is when He comes again with the first born, all the angels of Elohim will have deep respect for Him – Hebrews 1:6.

Who and what is the truth?

Remember truth sets you free. So, once you know the truth, you will be free and be healed spiritually and physically by the word of truth.

You will not need man, religion or traditions to be healed once you know the truth.

Let me show you through scripture who the truth is;

John 14:6 Yahusha said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Psalm 117:1-2 Praise Yahuah, all you nations! Praise Him, all you peoples! For His kindness is mighty over us, and the truth of Yahuah is everlasting. Praise Yah!

Psalm 119:142 Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and Your Torah is truth.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Malachi 2:6 “The Torah of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found on his lips.

Nehemiah 9:13 “And You came down on Mount Sinai, and spoke with them from the heavens, and gave them straight right-rulings and Torah of truth, good laws and commands.

John 8:32 and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Do you know the Word is truth? Hear what scripture says about the Word;

Jeremiah 23:28-30 “The prophet who has a dream, let him relate the dream, and he who has My Word, let him speak My Word in truth.

Psalm 138:2I bow myself toward Your set-apart Temple, and give thanks to Your Name for Your kindness and for Your truth; For You have made great Your Word, Your Name, above all.

John 17:17 “Set them apart in Your truth – Your Word is truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 Do your utmost to present yourself approved to Elohim, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the Word of Truth.

James 1:18 Having purposed it, He brought us forth by the Word of truth, for us to be a kind of first-fruits of His creatures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Who is the Word?

Deuteronomy 5:5 “I stood between Yahuah and you at that time, to declare to you the Word of Yahuah –

1 Samuel 3:7 Now Samuel did not yet know Yahuah, and the word of Yahuah was not yet revealed to him.

Isaiah 66:5 Hear the Word of Yahuah, you who tremble at His Word,…

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us, and we saw His esteem, esteem as of an only brought forth of a father, complete in favour and truth.

Revelation 19:13 and having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood – and His Name is called: The Word of Yahuah.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What gives life?

Philippians2:16 holding on to the Word of life, for a boast to me in the day of Messiah, that I have not run in vain or laboured in vain.

1 John 1:1 What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life:

He is the Truth, the Torah and the Word.

You will also find Him in Genesis 1:1 in the ancient language of Hebrew.

Pilate asked Messiah, “You are a sovereign, then?” Yahusha answered, “You say it, because I am a sovereign. For this I was born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” (John 18:37-38).

The covenant Torah

She-ma Yisharel!

She-ma means much more than just hear! It means;

Hear commands!

Learn commands!

Guard commands!

Do commands!

This is the secret to live!

Moses explained to Yishrael that to “Shema” the laws and right-rulings is to hear them, to learn them, and to guard and do them. (Deuteronomy 5:1-5)

Yahuah, said to the people if you carefully and seriously obey My voice, and shall guard My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a set-apart nation.’

Yahuah spoke these 10 commands to all the assembly, in the mountain from the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a loud voice, and He added nothing more. After He spoke these Word, He then wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to Moses. (Deuteronomy 5:22)

 

This was Your covenant Father directly with the people.

We know from history; the people did not take Your covenant to heart as they did not, She-ma Your Words and broke Your covenant.

You sent many prophets to guide Your people back to You and at times people did return but this was for only little while, then many again turn away from You.

All through history the house of Yisra’Ãl and the house of YehuÅah kept breaking Your covenant You made with their fathers.” (Jeremiah 11:10)

They were rebellious, lying and refused to hear Your Torah. Many prophets were even killed because they warned the people to return to Yahauh. (Isaiah 30:9)

 

Father, this bowled me completely over as I could not understand why people could do this after You showed them so many wonders and miracles.

I realize it is no different today. I myself for a long time was living a rebellious and lying life.

It took me a long time to understand why so many people would not hear.

It is all because they could not get the “Shema” right. They tried to do it from the flesh and not from the heart! It’s not the organ pumping blood but your inner soul that is called the heart.

It makes sense when Yahuah says “If you love me, do My commands.” Love can only come from the heart! (John 14:15,21 & 23)

If a husband says to his wife, “I love you.” Is it coming from his mouth, his thinking or from deep inside his heart (soul)? Is the love of a husband not a desire to be with his wife and verse versa? Becoming one just like Yahusha said, Him and His Father are One.

 

Shema – hear, learn, guard and do is not just simple hearing His voice, learning His voice, guarding His voice and doing His voice. It is a much deeper meaning that must come from the heart.

It is a complete desire/love to Shema. If you and I do not have this desire/love to Shema, not just having a feeling but a complete desire/love to have Shema on your heart then we will struggle just like our forefathers did.

First desire/love than obedience.It will never work the other way around.

Yahuah, You knew your people would not Shema and so You told Your prophets the day will come when a new covenant will be made with the house of Israel and the house of Yahudah.

It will be the same covenant but it will be in a different way than before. You will put Your covenant Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts/soul.

You also say no longer will we teach each other Your Torah to our neighbor or our brother because we will know You (Jeremiah 31:31-34 & Hebrew 8:8-12)

Yahuah told His prophets of His Spirit that would be given to those who Shema. (Proverbs 1:23, Ezekiel 36:27, Ezekiel 39:29, Zekhariah 7:12)

As Yahuah’s covenant was broken, He made it possible to make it new or to be renewed by sending His Son Yahusha to deliver (save) His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21)

Sins are breaking His covenant Torah

 

Yahusha explained to them that His blood, is that of the “Brit Chadasha” renewed or new covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins (breaking of the covenant). (Matthew 26:27-28)

A few days later His blood was shed.

Now that Yahusha Messiah came to fix that what was broken, does it mean we do not Shema His 10 Words or Commands as He spoke face to face with the first people. Let it not be!

Yahusha’s blood mended the covenant of His Father and we as born-again believers can now stand at the mountain and Shema His Voice again.

With Yahuah’s Spirit in our inward parts and our desire/love can His Words be written on our hearts.

Yahusha repeats what Moses said before; we must Shema the 10 Commands of Yahuah by loving Yahuah with all our heart and mind and likewise to love our neigbour (Mark 12:29-31)

Yahusha also tells us there will still be those today who will She-ma and those who will not She-ma. No different to the past as only a remnant will true, She-ma.

He explains this by means of a parable; the one house that is built on the rock and the other house that is built on the sand and how a storm destroys one house and the other house endures the storm. One will hear and do and the other one will hear and not do, just like it was in the time of Moses and the prophets. (Mathew 7:24-27 & Luke 6:46-49)

This walk to She-ma does not happen overnight, it is all baby steps, first drinking the milk then moving on to solid food and finally walking in His covenant where you no longer need to study or teach your neigbour or be taught by your neigbour. The 10 Commands will be in your heart forever and you will live them.

If your desire/love is true, then Shema is possible.

 

Prophesy tells us the dragon is fighting with the remnant who has endurance. Who is the remnant; those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of Yahusha Messiah. (Revelation 12:17 & Revelation 14:12)

Father, All the 10 Words You have spoken face to face to them, “I today hear and I shall do them.” (Exodus 19:5-8, Exodus 19:16-19)

I know these Ten Words (Commands) were given so that we know what sin is, to fear You and to lead us away from sin (breaking Your Covenant). (Exodus 20:20, Romans 3:20, Romans 4:15 & Romans 7:7.)

 

Through the blood of Yahusha Messiah, my sins have been washed away, making me a new person. I now walk in Your covenant with Your Spirit in me and Your 10 Words written on my heart.

Most people can’t see this because they have the world system pulled over their eyes even many who confess to be believers.

I encourage you to desire Abba Father, to repent and to accept the blood covering of Yahusha and then to She-ma Yahuah’s covenant, so He can call you HIS treasured possession.
