We shall be like Him.

When we are children of Elohim, we are like Him.

1 John 3:2 Beloved ones, now we are children of Elohim. And it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

1 John 3:3 And everyone having this expectation in Him cleanses himself, as He is clean. Philippians 3:21 who shall change our lowly body, to be conformed to His esteemed body, according to the working by which He is able even to bring all under His control.

If you are clean (pure) then you will not sin. Read further what John says as it is totally different from what we are taught by men today.

1 John 3:4 Everyone practicing sin also practices lawlessness, and sin is the breaking of the commands or sin is lawlessness.

It is unbelievable to see how people are ignorant of this simple truth.

Sin is clearly defined as the breaking of the commands (Torah). The argument against keeping the commands is extremely weak and non-biblical as if there are no commands, then there would be no sin, and then why would someone need a savior? It is utterly evil to preach a lawless message of salvation.

1 John 3:5-6 And you know that He was revealed that He might take away our sins, and sin is not in Him. Everyone remaining in Him does not (practice) sin. Everyone practicing sin has not seen Him, nor known Him.

1 John 2:4 The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. And 3 John verse 11 Beloved ones, do not imitate the evil, but the good. The one who is doing good is of Elohim, but he who is doing evil has not seen Elohim.

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no one lead you astray. The one doing righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.

We are taught that we cannot be righteous but here in John 2:29 it says the following: If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone doing righteousness has been born of Him.

1 John 3:8-10 The one doing sin is of the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Elohim was manifested: to destroy the works of the devil. Everyone having been born of Elohim does not sin, because His seed stays in him, and he is powerless to sin, because he has been born of Elohim. In this the children of Elohim and the children of the devil are manifest: Everyone not doing righteousness is not of Elohim, neither the one not loving his brother.

Romans 8:7 tells us that before baptism and the laying on of hands to receive the Holy Spirit (Ruach) the carnal mind is hatred toward Yahuah's commands (Torah). It is the Holy Spirit that changes our heart to write the commands on our very hearts (Hebrew 8:10). Once someone does this he may still as a human being slip up and sin, but he would not practice sin as a lifestyle. Those saying the commands is done away are proving (according to scripture) they still have the carnal mind of their wicked human nature and not the Holy Spirit (Ruach H' Chodesh) of Yahuah.

In Psalm 119:172 it says, all the commandments are righteousness.

Titus 2:14 who gave Himself for us, to redeem us from all lawlessness (sin) and to cleanse for Himself a people, His own possession, ardent for good works.

Lawlessness is a synonym for sin (1 John 3:4). This is the main reason why the Messiah Yahusha came to earth: to save sinners from sin.

Matthew 16:27 “For the Son of Adam is going to come in the esteem of His Father with His messengers, and then He shall reward each according to his works.
