By every Word

Do you not know that man (woman) does not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that comes from the mouth of Yahuah (Heavenly Father) - Deuteronomy 8:3

Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) was tested in the desert when He went without food and water for 40 days and nights and satan told Him to change stones into bread. Messiah told him that 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from His Father - Matthew 4:4 & Luke 4:4.

We normally eat 3 meals a day and snack on little meals in between the 3 meals but do we spend (eat) the same amount of time in His Word which is food for our life.

The Torah is about this food (commands) Yahuah and His Son is telling us to eat (spend/read/do/keep) because this will feed your hunger and make you humble, prove you, to know your heart,  weather you guard His commands or not.

Father made a promise back then which He will not break and that promise is written in Deuteronomy 7:12-16, if you hear and guard the laws/commands and do them, your Elohim shall guard with you the covenant and loving-commitment which He swore (promised) to your fathers, and shall love you and bless you. He will bless you by increasing you, bless the fruit of your womb, and bless the fruit of your land, your grain (food), your wine, your oil, your cattle and the offspring. You will be blessed above all other people, you and your woman and your livestock shall not be barren. Sickness shall not touch you or evil diseases but He shall put these diseases on those who hate you.

Father warns us in Deuteronomy. 8:11, "Be on guard, lest you forget Yahuah your Elohim by not guarding His commands ...

Messiah Yahusha renewed (made new) the covenant that was broken and He is the Living Torah, given to us through His Spirit, written on our foreheads and in our hearts, never to be forgotten.

The next 3 scripture chapters confirm that the Torah is written in our hearts!

Hebrews 8:10, “Because this is the covenant that I shall make with the house of Israel after those days, says Yahuah, giving My laws in their mind, and I shall write them on their hearts, and I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.

Jeremiah 31:33, “For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Israel after those days, declares Yahuah: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.

Hebrews 10:16-17, “This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says Yahuah, giving My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them,” and, “Their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall remember no more.”

The Word (Torah-Yahusha (Jesus)) is food for our heart (soul).

Praise Yah who is the bread of my life!

Unevenly Yoked

Believers must not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers - 2 Corinthians 6:14-18.

Why should we not be forming binding relationships with unbelievers, because this might weaken our commitment, integrity, or service to Messiah?

It is a mismatch.

The difference is one is righteous the other one lawless, or the one is fellowshipping in light, the other one in darkness, even your body as the temple of Messiah having union with the body of a false idol.

Believers should be active witnesses for Messiah to unbelievers, but they should not lock into a relationship which can cause them to compromise their belief.

We cannot isolate ourselves from unbelievers because we are all part of this world but we can and must be Set-Apart and be an example to the unbeliever.

Paul says in 2 Corinthians 7:12-17 that if a man has an unbelieving wife (or woman having an unbelieving husband) that the husband should not divorce her but he should pray for her and be an example (in behaviour) to her in Messiah's way.

But if the unbelieving wife (or husband) wants to leave then the believer should not stop her. The believer can only pray for the unbelieving spouse but the believing spouse cannot save the unbelieving person only Messiah can save her/him.

Separation from the world involves more than keeping our distance from unbelievers; it means staying and having a close relationship with Father Yahuah.

Believers are a temple (dwelling place) for Yahuah to dwell and walk in and He will be our Elohim (Almighty) and we shall be His people if we stay Set Apart - 2 Corinthians 6:16, Leviticus 26:12, Exodus 29:45 & Jeremiah 31:1.

2 Corinthians 6:17, therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says Yahuah, and do not touch what is unclean, and I shall receive you.

Proverbs of a woman

A foolish woman is loud, simple, and without knowledge - Proverbs 9:13. The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but the tongue of perverseness (deliberate) is cut out - Proverbs 10:31.
A woman showing favour (grace) obtains esteem (respect)..... Proverbs 11:16.
Like a ring of gold in a pig's snout, is a beautiful woman who lacks good sense (discretion) - Proverbs 11:22.
A capable (fit or able) wife is a crown of her husband, but one causing shame is like rottenness (very bad) in his bones - Proverbs 12:4.
Every wise woman has built her house, but the foolish breaks it down with her hands - Proverbs 14:1.
A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up displeasure - Proverbs 15:1, see also Proverbs 15:28. Better is a meal of vegetables where love is, than a fatted calf with hatred - Proverbs 15:17.
Better is a dry piece of bread, and quietness with it, than a house full of sacrifices with fighting - Proverbs 17:1. ....And a wife's quarreling a never ending dripping - Proverbs 19:13. It is better to dwell in a corner of a roof, than in a house shared with a contentious (causing argument) woman - Proverbs 21:9 & Proverbs 25:24.
It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and vexed (difficult or frustrated) woman - Proverbs 21:19. The mouth of a strange woman is a deep pit; the one denounced (declare to be wrong) by Yahuah falls in there - Proverbs 22:14.
Drops that never cease on a rainy day (raining all day and night), and contentious women are alike; whoever hides her hides the wind............ Proverbs 27:15-16. This is the way of an adulterous woman: she shall eat and wipe her mouth (sleep around), and say, "I have not done wickedness" (have done nothing wrong) - Proverbs 30:20.
Proverbs of a good wife

Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth - a loving deer and a pleasant doe! - Proverbs 5:18-19.
Husbands stay & share your blessings with your wife as to how you felt when dating in your youth. The meaning of the deer & doe is that they are beautiful and cute as your wife.
A capable wife is a crown of her husband.......-Proverbs 12:4. Listen husbands!! He who has found a wife has found good, and receives favour from Yahuah - Proverbs 18:22. ......an understanding wife is from Yahuah - Proverbs 19:14. Awesome!
Who does find a capable wife? For she is worth far more than rubies (jewelry or treasure) - Proverbs 31:10.
A good wife is much more worth then any riches this world can offer.
If a husband has a good wife, then he shall trust her, and he has no lack of gain - Proverbs 31:11.
A good wife shall do her husband good, and not evil, all the days of her life - Proverbs 31:12.
She makes clothes and loves making things with her hands. She makes sure the household always has stock of food. She is always the first one up while it is still dark to make sure food is prepared for her household and ensures her girls (daughters) are doing what is righteous. She will make clothes and sell it and with profits will buy land. She will look after her self and internally/externally strengthen her for good. Her energy never lacks for her household and herself. She can sow, knit and cook for household - Proverbs 31:13-19.
A good wife helps out the poor and shall reach out to the needy - Proverbs 31:20.
She is not afraid to walk/work in the snow (cold) for her household, to proof this; her household is dressed in scarlet - Proverbs 31:21.
She makes the house pretty and comfortable and she dresses beautiful - Proverbs 31:22.
Her husband is well known because of her. She is not lazy, always busy with garments and linen, and does this all in rejoicing - Proverbs 31:24-25.
When she opens up her mouth to talk, only wisdom is heard and on her tongue is only loving-commitment. She watches over the ways of the household, and is not lazy- Proverbs 31:26-27.
Her children will call her blessed and husband calls her blessed as well and praises her: "Many daughters have done nobly (fine quality), but you have risen over them all" - Proverbs 31:28-29.
A good wife is not necessary pretty because loveliness and prettiness is deceptive and vain (useless), a woman who fears Yahuah is to be praised and she will have an eternal reward - Proverbs 31:30.
Give her all the fruit of her loving hands, and give her all the praises she deserves - Proverbs 31:31.
Proverbs of a loose woman

Believers are warned to stay away from woman who whore, who seduces by her talk, by her lips, by her dressing or by her body as this will send you to hell. Note this includes men.
Proverbs 5:3-4, for the lips of a strange woman drip honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil; but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. To guard you against an evil woman, from the flattering tongue of a strange woman. Do not desire her prettiness in your heart, neither let her captivate you with her eyelids. For because of a whore one is brought to a crust of bread. And an adulteress hunts a precious life. Would a man take fire to his bosom, and his garments not be burned? Would a man walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched? So is he who goes into his neighbour's wife; none who touches her goes unpunished - Pro. 6:24-29.
"Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant." but he does not know that the dead are there, her guests are in the depths of hell - Pro. 9:17-18.
Proverbs 7:5-22 are warnings to young and married men (and woman) who go into (have sex with) a married woman (man), who whores and seduces men (women). Read and be warned! Many men (women) have fallen! Many marriages have been broken! And many children have grown up without a father or a mother because of a marriage destroyed!
Read and be warned! Proverbs 7:5-22, Verse 9, how the young man went to her house in the dark so no one can see them. Verse 10 says she was dressed like a whore. How does a whore dress, this chapter 7 is about a married woman whoring, so then, notice the one dressed as a whore! Verse 11-12, says she cannot stay at her home, always out on the streets or town. Verse 13-18, says how she seduces him, with kisses, cheap talking and the bedding and spices see used to get him in her bed. Verse 19-20, she says her husband is not at home as he went on a long journey. Verse 21-22, with her many words she leads him astray, with her smooth lips she seduces him, he goes after her........., like an ox he goes to the slaughter,........
Then what happens afterwards; sorrow, feelings of guilt, verse 23, like a bird rushing into a snare, and did not know it would take his life. A life is destroyed, maybe two, if he is married....
Here are the warnings, Pay attention to the words of my mouth: do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, do not go astray in her paths - Pro. 7:24-25.
For many are the wounded she has caused to fall, ............. Her house is the way to Sheol (hell), going down to the rooms of death.
Stay away from her, it means only destruction. The 5 to 30 minutes of entertainment will cost you plenty! "Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant." But he does not know that the dead are there, her guests are in the depths of Sheol (hell) - Proverbs 9:17-18.
This is what an adulterous woman will say once she has done her deeds; "I have not done wickedness" - Proverbs 30:20.
He who commits adultery with a woman lacks heart; he who does it destroys his own life - Proverbs 6:32.
Be warned, believers! Here is good advice for men and women: Drink water from your own cistern, and running water from your own well - Proverbs 5:15.

The Sabbath

A bit more than 7 years ago, Heavenly Father called me to a scriptural restoration. The first thing that was revealed to me was the 7th day Sabbath, the 4th command. I learnt about the 10 commandments when I was +- 8 years old. I never up to 7 years ago questioned the content or the purpose of the 4th commandment. Neither did anyone explain to me what the 4th command really meant. I was taught all through my life that the 10 commandments were Father's laws and that we need to keep them.
I remember Sunday's when I was in boarding school, we had to go to church in the morning, have lunch after church and then stay in our rooms all afternoon and be quiet until 5 o'clock.  I remember in those days, all shops were closed and nobody really worked on this day, I understood that Sunday was a Holy day.
At different occasions, priests talked about the 10 commandments but very few details was given on the 4th commandment, I even remember one time when a pastor went into detail on each command except the 4th command.
It also did not cross my mind to ever ask the pastor what the 4th commandment meant or to study the scriptures myself to find out what it is about.
I realize now we as normal people rely so much on other people like the priests/pastors to teach us the scriptures and the will of our Creator, but we forget to ask Him, who made us to teach us, as this is what He wants.
I would like to share my experiences, of the anger, the shock, the fear, the search for truth and the inner peace I went through in the last 7 years regarding the 4th commandment.
When I leant that the Sabbath day was actually the 7th and not the 1st day, my reaction was anger, anger towards the people I trusted to teach me the truth and anger at myself for not seeing this.
At the same time I was shocked to the core, realizing that all my life I have being living a lie and was disobedience towards my Heavenly Father.
I took drastic steps to correct this disobedience which caused a major eruption to my life and close family. I was so afraid of disappointing my Creator that I became a bulldozer and bulldozed everything and everybody within my path, including my wife to correct the situation.
I made an appointment with pastor at my church to discuss the Sabbath issue. The pastor could not give me a clear answer and said he would get back to me within a week; he never did get back to me.
I wanted to know the truth and therefore read many books on the Sabbath day. I spoke to another pastor and to people I believed were close to Father. The answers I got were: 1) it is nailed to the cross. 2) We keep it now on any day. 3) We can choice which day we keep it. 4) Jesus is now lord of the Sabbath. 5) Sunday is now Sabbath.
I asked these same people if we still had to keep the 10 commands and all answers were "Yes." I was totally confused.
I knew that the 10 commands had to be kept but how come this excludes the 4th command. I asked Heavenly Father if I really need to keep Sabbath, that He should give me answers as to me keeping the Sabbath day or not. I did not want to do something that Father did not approve of!
My search for truth continued.

The 4th command: "Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart (keep Holy). 6 days you labour and shall do all your work, but the 7th day is a Sabbath of Yahuah (Heavenly Father) your Elohim (God). You do not do any work - you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. "For in 6 days Yahuah made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested the 7th day. Therefore Yahuah blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart. Exodus 20:8-11.
I knew that the only way I could get to the truth was to study the scriptures from the beginning to the end with the Spirit of Messiah's guidance.
Many people also told me that the Sabbath keeping is a Jewish thing and not a Christian thing. The very first word of the 4th command is "Remember the Sabbath", this meant 2 things: 1) at the beginning of creation Father rested on the 7th day and blessed it and made it set apart. So this could not be a Jewish thing as in the beginning there was no Jew (Adam was not a Jew), therefore we had to remember it. 2) The language of Hebrew is concrete and active where English is abstract and passive (including Africans). Therefore "Remember" in Hebrew means you must take action were in English we may believe that we supposed to think about these things. In English it is primarily a mental exercise, were in Hebrew it is an action word. I also realized that when Father said "He blessed this day and made it set-apart" that this day meant a lot to Father and that this particular day meant to be a very special day.
In the New Testament it is mentioned in various places that the commands are important. 1 John 2:3-7: verse 4; the one who says, "I know Him" and does not keep His commands, is a liar and the truth is not in him. Verse 5; if you keep His Word than His love has been perfected in you. Verse 7; says that these commands are not new but have been given from the beginning.
James 2:10-11: if you break one command than you break all the commands. According to the above verses, all the commands are applicable and if we break the 4th command we break all the commands.
If we no longer require keeping the 4th command, we no longer have to keep all the commands. If we keep the 4th command on any day or anytime like Sunday, than we may murder when we feel like or we may/may not respect our parents. If the 4th command is nailed to the cross, so than adultery, murder or stealing, in other words we are free to do what we want too.
Really, that is satan's lie.

At this point I know that Messiah did not nail the commands to the cross because He said so in Matthew 5:17. We have being deceived by our forefathers and satan for many years. The 7th day Sabbath was changed by the Roman Catholic Church to 1st day (Sunday) and one of the reasons was to be separated from the Jews. Note I said it is one of the reasons, there are many other reasons but I suggest you do your own search for truth. The RCC does not deny it; according to them they have the right to change the Sabbath day.
I read through the complete scripture and the following verses tell me that I have to keep the 7th day Sabbath;
The Sabbath day was blessed and set apart by the Almighty at creation. Later on it was instituted as the sign of the everlasting covenant between Almighty Father and His people, a sign that He sets them apart, an everlasting sign - Exodus 31:13-17 & Ezekiel 20:12-20.
This sign is everlasting, which means it applies still today. Sabbath keeping is one of the 10 commandments, standing forever, settled forever in heaven and founded forever - Psalms 89:34, Ps 111:8-9 & Ps 119:89.
Our Messiah kept the Sabbath - Luke 4:16 & John 15:10.
The women who were taught by Messiah kept the Sabbath - Luke 23:56.
Paul kept the Sabbath - see Acts 13:14, Acts 13:42-44, Acts 17:2, Acts 18:4 & Acts 18:11.
In Hebrew 4:9 we are reminded of the necessity of keeping the Sabbath.
At the end of this age, the Sabbath shall still be kept - Isaiah 66:23.

In Matthew 24; the Messiah is speaking to His apostles about the end time signs. In verse 20; and pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath, verse 21; for then there will be great tribulations........ Remember that Messiah is talking about what is going to happen at the end of this age (the end of this world as we know it) and we all can agree that this has not happen yet, still coming, very soon. Messiah is saying at the end, when this happens, we must pray that it does not happen on a Sabbath. If the Sabbath is no longer required, why is the Messiah mentioning it still in the future and which Sabbath is He talking about, it can only be the 7th day Sabbath. The Messiah is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, He never changes.
After many hours of studying the scriptures and many hours of praying for guidance, I have no doubt that we have to keep the 7th day Sabbath - Saturday not Sunday. I believe that the scripture is true and the Almighty Creator has given it to us for guidance.
I did not find in all of scripture a verse that says that the Sabbath is now the 1st day (Sunday). Man cannot decide to keep the Sabbath on the 3rd, 4th or 1st day, the Creator said the 7th day, and if you love Him you will obey Him.

Father has placed laws in the universe to insure that for example the sun does not collide with earth so has He given man laws to insure there is guidance for right living.
The Sabbath is a very important sign between Elohim (Almighty God) and His people; it is a sign that shows Him that those that keep the Sabbath are His children. The Sabbath is not a Jew thing, Adam, and Noah + his family were not Jews and they all kept the Sabbath. The Orthodox Jews (Pharisees) have created so much extra laws to the Sabbath, which was the reason Messiah criticized them for their traditions.
My intension is not to convince you to keep the 7th day Sabbath; we are all free to make our own choices. But I must say this as I have being there where many are now today, the truth has being distorted.
Ask the people that are keeping the Sabbath, it is a day of rest and a day that you get to spend with the Creator, not just 2 hours but a whole day. The inner peace I have by keeping the Sabbath is indescribable; it is not a burden to me. After a week of work and craziness in this rush world, the Sabbath is always something to look forward too. I feel refreshed after a Sabbath, remember Father personally blessed and set this day apart, that is why it is so special.

 The sign of YAH’s people
