His strength and protection

I can do all things through Messiah Yahusha (Jesus); the One giving me strength – Philippians 4:13.

He covers you with His feathers, and under His wings you take refuge; His truth is a shield and armour. You are not afraid of the dread by night, of the arrow that flies by day, of the pestilence that walks in darkness, of destruction that ravages at midday. A thousand fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it does not come near you. Only with your eyes you look on, and see the reward of the wrong ones. Because you have made Yahuah – My refuge, the Most High – your dwelling place, no evil befalls you, and a plague does not come near your tent; for He commands His messengers concerning you, to guard you in all your ways – Psalms 91:4-11.

You as a believer, who loves the Messiah and keeps His commands, are the ones that get his/her strength and protection.

Just like a hen covering her chicks under her wing so does Heavenly Father cover those who trust and obey Him?

1 John 3:22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we guard His commands and do what is pleasing in His sight.

But if anyone fears Elohim and does His desire (commands/Word), He hears him – John 9:31.

He is asking this; fear Him, love Him, please Him, obey Him. Then you can ask Him and He will protect, provide and give strength.

If we do His desire/will, then as David says; a 1000 fall at your side, and 10 000 at your right hand; but it does not come near you.

This is His promise to us who truly love Him.

The lie

The Portion of Jacob (Israel) is not like them, for He (The Creator Father) is the Maker of all, and Israel is the tribe of His inheritance.

Yahuah of hosts is His Name. Not Islam, not Buddha, not the Catholic's, not a Jehovahs witness, 7th day advents, Judaism, nor any Christian church denomination or gentile, only Israel, is His inheritance.

The Angel Gabriel from Elohim said in Luke 1:32-33, "And Yahuah Elohim shall give Him (the Messiah) the throne of His father David. And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever and there shall be no end to His reign."

Reign over the house of Israel (Jacob) until when? Forever and ever! Gabriel is confirming the same promise Yahuah made to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph.

Isaiah 9:7 of the increase of His rule and peace there is no end, upon the throne of David and over His reign, to establish it and sustain it with right-ruling and with righteousness from now on, even forever. The ardour of Yahuah of hosts does this.

Jeremiah 16:3-5 “Therefore I shall gather the remnant of My flock out of all the lands where I have driven them, and shall bring them back to their fold. And they shall bear and increase. “And I shall raise up shepherds over them, and they shall feed them. And they shall fear no more, nor be discouraged, nor shall they be lacking,” declares Yahuah. “See, the days are coming,” declares Yahuah, “when I shall raise for Dawvid a Branch (Messiah) of righteousness, and a Sovereign shall reign and act wisely, and shall do right-ruling and righteousness in the earth.

Revelation 11:15 and the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

The above verses are describing the Messiah and His reign forever – with Israel.
Jacob's name was changed to Israel (Genesis 32:28), so the Messiah will be King of Israel forever, not king of a church. Do you see that? It is written in scripture. I cannot find anywhere in scripture were it says that the "church,” be it: Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, or any other Christian Denomination/organization are His promised people. Neither found it scripture that a church building is to be a dwelling place for the Messiah. He dwells in a person by means of His set apart Spirit (Holy Spirit) when that person accepts Him and follows Him in truth. Our body then becomes the dwelling place/temple or church as many know it. A church cannot be the promised people as it is a building, a corporation with a name. Note: this is not the state of Israel I am talking about, it is the true believing remnant of people that are in covenant with the Almighty, walking in His commands and accepting Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) as the Redeemer, savior, the beginning  and end, King forever and ever.

Mathew 15:24, 10:5-7: Messiah came ONLY to redeem the lost sheep of the House of Israel. He sent His disciples ONLY to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.

It is been taught that the church has replaced Israel, which is not scriptural. The church teaches "replacement theology." Father Yahuah would never break His Covenant with Israel (Jacob), He does not lie it is man that lies. It is true that Father scattered Israel out of the Promised Land because of their disobedience but He never said that they are no longer His people, in fact He repeatedly tells them to repent and come back to Him, just like He tells us when we turn away from Him to repent.

Heavenly Father warned Israel through all His prophets for many years that He would remove them out to the 4 corners of the world if they did not turn away from sinning. Scripture tells us that they did not listen and therefore this prophesies was fulfilled.

Now read what one of Father's prophets says will happen in the near future regarding Israel in Jeremiah 46:27-28, But as for you, do not fear, O My servant Jacob (Israel), and do not be discouraged, O Israel! For look, I am saving you from afar, and your DESCENDANTS from the land of their captivity. And Jacob shall return, and shall have rest and be at ease, with no one disturbing. Verse 28 says that Father will not leave Israel unpunished but He will always be with them and will destroy all the nations where He has scattered them too.

This is one of the reasons Father Yahuah sent His Son the Messiah, for the house of Israel (Matthew 15:24).

Luke 1:67-79, blessed be Yahuah Elohim of Israel for He did look upon and worked redemption for His people (who are His people?  Israel). Verse 76-77, and you, child (John the Baptist), shall be called prophet of the Most High, for you shall go before the face of Yahuah to prepare His ways, to give knowledge of deliverance to His people, by the forgiveness of their sins (Israel) .........

Acts 5:30-32, The Elohim of our fathers (Jacob) raised up Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) whom you laid hands on hanging Him on a timber. Him, a Prince and a Saviour, Elohim has exalted to His right hand, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

Anybody that believes the church has replaced Israel, should think again, read the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation and then repent and ask for forgiveness once you find out that Israel is still the promised/chosen people of Elohim.

Acts 1:6 so when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Master, would You at this time restore the reign to Israel?

The disciples did not ask if Messiah would restore the church, they asked Him if He would restore Israel.

Are you in covenant with Yahusha Messiah? Are you trying to live a set apart life from the world? Are you keeping His Word/Commands? If you are then you are Israel.

Thank you Yah for keeping Your promise.

Now and Then – Isaiah

Isaiah 59:4 No one calls for righteousness, and no one pleads for truth. They trust in emptiness and speak worthlessness; they conceive trouble and bring forth wickedness.

Isaiah 59:11-14 all of us growl like bears, and moan sadly like doves. We look for right-ruling, but there is none; for deliverance, but it is far from us. For our transgressions have increased before You, and our sins witnessed against us. For our transgressions are with us, and as for our crookednesses, we know them: transgressing, and being untrue to Yahuah, and turning away from our Elohim, speaking oppression and apostasy, conceiving and pondering words of falsehood from the heart. And right-ruling is driven back, and righteousness stands far off. For truth has fallen in the street, and right is unable to enter.
Amos 5:7 “O you who are turning right-ruling to wormwood, and have cast down righteousness to the earth!”

Does this not sound like us and the world today. How many babies are killed daily, weekly and what about yearly? The world is filled with pornography, adultery, homosexuality, drugs, and every form of evil.

Isaiah 59:15-16 And the truth is lacking, and whoever turns away from evil makes himself a prey (the believers that do or say something about the wickedness are made to be liars, persecuted.) And Yahuah saw, and it displeased Him that there was no right-ruling. And He saw that there was no man, and was astonished that there was no intercessor. So His own arm saved for Him, and His righteousness upheld him.

Since man was too corrupt, Yahuah needed His own right arm Yahusha (Jesus) to pay the penalty for sin.

Isaiah 63:5, “And I looked, but there was none helping, and I was astonished that there was none upholding. So My own arm saved for Me, and My wrath upheld Me. Psalm 98:1 Sing to Yahuah a new song! For He has done wonders; His right hand and His set-apart arm have brought Him deliverance. Isaiah 40:10 See, the Master Yahuah comes with a strong hand, and His arm rules for Him. See, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him –
This verse sounds like the verse in the book of Revelation. (This is talking about Messiah).

Isaiah 59:17 And He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of deliverance on His head. And He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and wrapped Himself with ardour as a mantle. Romans 12:19 Beloved, do not revenge yourselves, but give place to the wrath, for it has been written, “Vengeance is Mine, I shall repay,” says Yahuah. (Is this not what we must be doing daily – putting on the armor).

Isaiah 59:18-19 According to their deeds, so He repays, wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies. He repays recompense to the coastlands.( Judgment is coming). Verse 19 and they shall fear the Name of Yahuah from the west (Is Abba not talking to Ephraim), and His esteem from the rising of the sun, when He comes like a distressing stream which the Spirit of Yahuah drives on.  (Very little people have the fear of sinning).

Once we understand that we cannot mix sin with the worship of Yahuah, and then we will understand the meaning of the fear of Yahuah.

Isaiah 59:20 “And the Redeemer shall come to Tsiyon, and to those turning from transgression in Jacob,” declares Yahuah.
Isaiah 24:23 and the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed, for Yahuah of hosts shall reign on Mount Tsiyon, and in Jerusalem, and before His elders, in esteem!

This is speaking about the kinsman redeemer, who has the legal right of redemption. When Yahusha came the first time He redeemed the sins of those who repented and accepted His exchange of death for the penalty of their sins, and the second time He will redeem the land back to those in covenant with Him.

Isaiah 44:22 “I shall wipe out your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I shall redeem you.”
Hebrews 9:27-28 And as it awaits men to die once, and after this the judgment, so also the Messiah, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to those waiting for Him, unto deliverance.

This is the turning point.

Isaiah 59:21 “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” said Yahuah: “My Spirit that is upon you (in your heart), and My Words that I have put in your mouth, shall not be withdrawn from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” said Yahuah, “from this time and forever” (are we part of that descendants’ descendants).

His Spirit and His Word operate together, in unity.

Jeremiah 31:31-32 “See, the days are coming,” declares Yahuah, “when I shall make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Yahudah, not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares Yahuah (What covenant was broken: it was the marriage covenant at Mt Sinai which they broke with the golden calf incident).

The person who wrote Hebrews mentions Jeremiah 31:31 in Hebrews 8:8-12 and also it says in Hebrews 10:16-17 “This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says Yahuah, giving My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them,” and, “Their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall remember no more.”

QUESTION: Is Isaiah chapter 59 presently been playing out in this time and in progress of been fulfilled? If I read through chapter 59 I see this chapter playing out right in front of my eyes. On the other hand Isaiah chapter 60 still needs to happen. The book of Revelation has some what the same message as Isaiah Chapter 60 has.

This whole Isaiah chapter 60 is describing the glory of Jerusalem and Israel in the millennial kingdom or the new kingdom.

Isaiah 60:1-3 “Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the esteem of Yahuah has risen upon you. “For look, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness the peoples. But Yahuah arises over you, and His esteem is seen upon you. “And the gentiles (or nations) shall come to your light, and sovereigns to the brightness of your rising.
Revelation 21:23-24 and the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it, for the esteem of Elohim lightened it, and the Lamb is its lamp. And the gentiles, of those who are saved, shall walk in its light, and the sovereigns of the earth bring their esteem into it.
Psalm 119:105 states that the Torah is a lamp to the feet and a light to one's path. Here all people living in the New Kingdom will be following the Torah as a way of life, not for justification which came by the blood of Yahshua, but simply as a way of life distinguishing between right and wrong.

Isaiah 60:4-5 “Lift up your eyes all around and see: all of them have gathered, they have come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are supported on the side. “Then you shall see and be bright, and your heart shall throb and swell, for the wealth of the sea is turned to you, the riches of the gentiles come to you.
Isaiah 60:15-19 “Instead of you being forsaken and hated, so that no one passes through you, I shall make you an everlasting excellence, a joy of many generations. “And you shall drink dry the milk of the gentiles, and shall milk the breast of sovereigns. And you shall know that I, Yahuah, your Saviour and your Redeemer (Yahuah saves = Yahusha), am the Elohim of Israel. “Instead of bronze I bring gold, and instead of iron I bring silver, and bronze instead of wood, and iron instead of stones. And I shall make your officers peace, and your magistrates righteousness. “Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor ruin within your borders. And you shall call your walls Deliverance, and your gates Praise – (looking forward to this time). “No longer is the sun your light by day, nor does the moon give light to you for brightness, but Yahuah shall be to you an everlasting light, and your Elohim your comeliness – (Sounds like the book of Revelation).

Isaiah 60:20 “No longer does your sun go down, nor your moon withdraw itself, for Yahuah shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.
Revelation 21:4 “And Elohim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away.” Revelation 22:5 and night shall be no more, and they shall have no need of a lamp or the light of the sun, because Yahuah Elohim shall give them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

Isaiah 60:21 “And your people, all of them righteous, shall inherit the earth forever – a branch of My planting, a work of My hands, to be adorned.
Revelation 5:10 and made us sovereigns and priests to our Elohim, and we shall reign upon the earth.”

The first fruit believers will reign with Messiah during the 1,000 year millennium and into eternity on the earth.

Daniel 7:18 ‘Then the set-apart ones of the Most High shall receive the reign, and possess the reign forever, even forever and ever.’
Revelation 1:6 and has made us sovereigns and priests to His Elohim and Father, to Him be esteem and rule forever and ever. Amein.
Revelation 20:4 and I saw thrones – and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them – and the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the witness they bore to Yahusha and because of the Word of Elohim, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years.

Isaiah 60:22 “The little shall become a thousand and the small one a strong nation. I, Yahuah, shall hasten it in its time” (Remnant of believers – does the 1000 in the verse mean the 100 years).
Isaiah 41:14, “Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel! I shall help you,” declares Yahuah and your Redeemer, the Set-apart One of Israel.
Luke 18:17, “Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the reign of Elohim as a little child, shall certainly not enter into it.”
Mathew 13:31-32 Another parable He put before them, saying, “The reign of the heavens is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is less than all the seeds, but when it is grown it is greater than the plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the heaven come and dwell in its branches.”

Final word on the two chapters of Isaiah:  Isaiah Chapter 59 is in progress and by far not complete. Many wicked things still need to happen. On the one side you have the majority people been part of the world and on the other side you have a small remnant of believers that have His Spirit and His words written on their hearts that will prevail till the end. They cannot turn back.
Isaiah Chapter 60 is something the small remnant of believers that made it through chapter 59 is looking forward to. Isaiah Chapter 60 and part of the book of Revelation are hand in hand the future.

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of Elohim, which was hidden in a secret, and which Elohim ordained before the ages for our esteem…
Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret matters belong to Yahuah our Elohim, but what is revealed belongs to us and to our children forever, to do all the Words of this Torah.
Daniel 2:21-22 “And He changes the times and the seasons. He removes sovereigns and raises up sovereigns. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who possess understanding. “He reveals deep and secret matters. He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.

Did Moses, Daniel and Isaiah know the secrets of Yahuah and the future? Paul seems to know the hidden secrets as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 2:7.

Is that hidden secret now reveled to those committed to Him? Those studying His Word – are the hidden secrets been revealed to those that now fear Him.

Remember: the fear of Yahuah is wisdom/knowledge.

Loyalty

Jeremiah 10:2 is a command: “Thus says Yahuah, `do not learn the ways of the heathen!’ ” And, do not practice the ways of the heathen (Gentle).

It is an abomination in His sight.  We must literally hate what He hates, despising what He despises, and flee from what He calls “defiled,”--“the fear of Yahuah is to hate evil.” He commands us to be more set-apart now than ever before, because the evil is intensifying.

“Be set-apart for I am set apart.”  If we belong to Yahuah, disengaging from what He hates is foundational action in showing our loyalty to Him! You’re not loyal to Him if you enjoy what He hates!  Yahuah is a jealous Elohim (God) over those He loves--those who are in His family who love Him. He is the Elohim of Light. The Word is clear about the character traits of the nature of Yahuah. If you willfully, defiantly, and rebelliously, go outside of His nature to do what you will, you have aligned with His enemy, whose only law is: “Do as thou wilt.” Evil is always wrapped in a cloak of light (II Corinthians 11:13-15).

Faith is built through testing, discipline, suffering, hardships, obedience, and submission of our will to Him. Maintaining loyalty to Yahuah builds faith in His abilities! Learning His nature, how He does things, and how He thinks, is imperative to overcoming the enemy. We’re in a battle to the eternal end! The only way we’ll make it through to stand before the son of man and receive rewards is to totally give ourselves to Him to control us, teach us, discipline us, and prepare us.  Loyalty to Him as our King is mandatory for survival.

Those not solidly loyal to Yahuah in every aspect of life, in mind, emotions, and actions, will be swiftly swept into the camp of Satan who already has a grip on most people’s minds.  If you are not actively allowing the Spirit of Yahuah to rule your life, then Lucifer through your sin-prone carnal nature is in control – leading you ever down the road to damnation.

Those who are sold out to Yahuah in absolute loyalty, and passionately from their Spirit submit to all that He says to think, do, speak, and act, are the ones who have freedom!!!

John 8: 31-32, 34, 36: “And Yahusha said to those Jews who believed in Him, `If you stay in My Word you are truly My disciples (taught ones), and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free…Truly, truly, I say to you that everyone doing sin is a slave to sin…If the Son makes you free, you are free indeed.’ ”

The loyal remnant of Yahuah, who are blood-bought by Yahusha, are indeed the “Few.”  By the Spirit of Yahuah, they see through lies and deceptions by His Spirit.

Woe to those that tolerate evil, and thus condone it – and allow it in their homes.  Those who are loyally locked into the mind of Messiah cannot be mind-programmed by the evil one. If your spirit and soul are sealed by Yahuah, you cannot be marked by the enemy, but the enemy can kill the body. Thus, Messiah warns in Matthew 10:28 not to fear those that can kill the body, but to fear Yahuah, who can destroy both body and soul in hell.

Learn what Yahuah is doing. Align to His mind!  Keep your eyes focused on the victorious coming of Yahusha Messiah!  Prepare to be a part of His Kingdom. “Seek Yahuah while He may be found…”

We’re either loyally with Him 100% without compromise, or we’re loyal to our self. If we’re stubbornly loyal to our self, He’s already left us to our self.  Aligning totally to the coming King is the only sane thing to do if you want to escape like Noah in these “days of Noah.” Promises of escape without discipline, hardship, tribulation, and purging of our sin, is the Devil’s illusion.

II Corinthians 6:14-7:1: “`Come out from among them and be separate’ says Yahuah, `and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you. And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to Me’ says Yahuah the Almighty. Having, then, these promises beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of the flesh and spirit, perfecting set-apartness in the fear of Elohim.”

I John 2:15-17: “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
Yahuah seeks a family who is loyal to Him!

II Corinthians 10:3-6: “The weapons we fight with are not fleshly but mighty in Elohim for overthrowing strongholds, overthrowing reasoning, and every high thing, that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim--taking captive every thought and making it obedient to Messiah…”

After all, He is the Creator, and we are the created!  He is smarter than we are!  So, the most intelligent thing any of us can do is to allow Him to take over, and get out of our houses and our lives everything that He hates!

II Timothy 2:3-5: “Suffer hardship with us as a good soldier of Yahusha Messiah.

No one serving as a soldier gets involved in the affairs of this life, in order to please only him who enlisted him to be a soldier.” Do not fear hardship and suffering, testing, trials, and endurance-training, that helps prepare us to endure and overcome against the enemy. If you are really born of the Spirit, you were born into a battle, first within yourself, and then around you.  As good soldiers we must know the enemy well, who he is, what his weapons are, what his plans are, what the symbols and signs are of his agents, how to detect him in a crowd, and how to use our “weapons of warfare that are not carnal, but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds.”

Our nature reveals who we are loyal to! Those loyal to self, which is the most common human nature, are morphing more and more into the mentality of the dark kingdom, losing any light they might have had in a precious belief-system. :  “Yes, we need confirmation of what He says and show us, but He needs confirmation of our loyalty to Him!”  He is calling out to His servants “Are you with Me?”

Loyalty!  The tests are meant to separate.  “The Test of Job" is the big one:  Who is in control? Who is Elohim? Who is the created being?

Sit alone with Him and speak out loud--verbally telling Him of your loyalty, your pledge to obey, your desire to go with Him all the way, not matter the cost to you personally.  He will take you at your word!  Confirm to Him what is in your heart – for He knows it already anyway. But He wants to hear it from your mouth, speaking from your spirit, not from your intellectual mind. The proof of who has control of you is in the daily decisions of the will! If your will submits to Yahuah, then the outcome of all that you do and say will be pleasing to Him. If your will rebels and you go with what your carnal mind dictates to you – the outcome will be death – first of the spirit, then of the soul, then of the body.

Where is your loyalty?

It is demonstrated every morning when you wake up, and by the priorities of your life that you choose during each day. So people get student loans, which have to be paid off over time, buy a big house on a 30 year mortgage, which of course needs nice furniture and decorations.  The more people get, the more they want. The more they want, the more they get. And who tells them what to want? Advertising!  If you turn off the avid mind-programming advertising industry in your life, you’ll save lots of money, time, and effort.

We are not called upon to pronounce judgment, condemn, or treat others with contempt or scorn. We are called to walk in His nature.  But, notice that Messiah rebuked the wrong when necessary, only after He tried to persuade them of their wrong. Often, when they got viciously angry, He just passed on through them and went His way. Let us walk in His nature, with His wisdom!  We are called to help mankind find His salvation, and so our lives should reflect His faithful love. But, not in weakness, tolerating wrong.

How can we stand for righteousness, if our eyes watch sin on the TV, or computer?

Those that want to be in His Kingdom don’t purposely look on what is evil, let alone call it “entertainment.” We must not tolerate wrong in ourselves first of all.  Being led by the Spirit brings wisdom. Loyalty means that we assume His nature, walk in His ways, pattern our lives after His example, and know His heart so that we act like He would act in each situation of our day.
Loyalty – standing up when need be for His right to rule as Creator.

If you are loyal to Him, He will be loyal to you. If you are not loyal to Him, He will not be loyal to you.

Be loyal to Yahuah the Creator!

Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot & the 8th day

Tabernacles last 7 days + the 8th day make it 8 days, which was for the Israelites to celebrate their wanderings for 40 years.  It was a week to dwell in booths, or tents (tabernacles-sukkot), to remember the desert journey. It is a very joyful week.

This feast is the most joyous Appointed Time within the yearly cycle. This is the last of the 3 Pilgrimage Feasts (Unleavened Bread & Shavuot).

Leviticus 23:34-36 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Booths for seven days to Yahuah. ‘On the first day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work. ‘For seven days you bring an offering made by fire to Yahuah. On the eighth day there shall be a set-apart gathering for you, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to Yahuah. It is a closing festival, you do no servile work.

Deuteronomy 16:13-14 “Perform the Festival of Booths for seven days after the ingathering from your threshing-floor and from your winepress, and you shall rejoice in your festival, you and your son and your daughter, and your male servant and your female servant, and the Levite, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates.

Sukkot (Succot) was always to occur at “the end of days,” the end of the harvest season. The grain had previously been cut, gathered, threshed and presented at Shavuot. Now the fruits had been harvested, and brought before Yahuah. There was new wine and that was especially helpful relative to the command to rejoice. It was time to go to the House of Yahuah and celebrate.

A sukkah, the singular for of sukkot, is a tent or temporary dwelling place (tabernacle). The covenant people construct and reside in each year to commemorate living with Yahuah. Our sukkot is a temporary house as we look forward to dwelling in the permanent House of Yahuah that He builds.

Sukkot is a feast that lasts 7 days, the first day is a Sabbath (rest) day but the last day; the 7th is not a Sabbath. The last day is linked to the last of the days of judgment, or the final judgment. Sukkot is a seven day feast followed by an eighth day, a separate day from Sukkot.

On this day, 5 days after the Day of Atonement, Yahuah proceeds to tabernacle with man for 1,000 years.  It pictures Elohim living with His creation (Revelation 20:11-chapter 22). He came to “tabernacle among us” – John 1:14.

The 8th day is a final Appointed Time beyond the 7th day of Sukkot and simply called the 8th day. The 8th day is a Sabbath day.

Leviticus 23:36 on the eighth day there shall be a set-apart gathering for you, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to Yahuah. It is a closing festival, you do no servile work.

On the last day of the Festival they dance with the Torah throughout the streets, in celebration of the Word of Yahuah.

Many things in the scriptures happened on the 8th day; circumcision, firstborn given to Yahuah and the 8th day the tabernacle was opened for business. The 8th day was a day of new beginnings for the covenant people in their relationship with Yahuah.

The sukka is to remind us that Israel dwelled in temporary structures prior to moving into the Promised Land. This 8th day also involves dwelling with Yahuah. It is when the House is opened to those in the covenant. It is when we leave our temporary dwellings, transcend time and abide with Him.

It is the time of the restoration of all things.

Acts 3:19-21 “Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master, and that He sends Yahusha Messiah (Jesus), pre-appointed for you, whom heaven needs to receive until the times of restoration of all matters, of which Elohim spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old.

In John 7:37-39, we read: “On the last day, the great day of the Feast”, during the celebration of the water pouring, Yahusha stood up and declared “If any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink.  He that believes on Me, as the Scriptures has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

The Bride of Messiah will rule and reign with her Bridegroom, not only for this 1,000 years, but in the New Jerusalem, forever - (Revelation 19-22). There are many passages in the Word, which describe the peace and prosperity of this time.

This Feast also pictures the coming of the Father to the earth at the end of the age.  He will come to rise up the wicked, and judge them, sending them justly to the lake of fire.  He will create a new heaven and a new earth, and bring His City—the New Jerusalem—down over the earth, where He will reign from forever.

HallelluYah! Praise our Almighty.
