Now and Then – Isaiah

Isaiah 59:4 No one calls for righteousness, and no one pleads for truth. They trust in emptiness and speak worthlessness; they conceive trouble and bring forth wickedness.

Isaiah 59:11-14 all of us growl like bears, and moan sadly like doves. We look for right-ruling, but there is none; for deliverance, but it is far from us. For our transgressions have increased before You, and our sins witnessed against us. For our transgressions are with us, and as for our crookednesses, we know them: transgressing, and being untrue to Yahuah, and turning away from our Elohim, speaking oppression and apostasy, conceiving and pondering words of falsehood from the heart. And right-ruling is driven back, and righteousness stands far off. For truth has fallen in the street, and right is unable to enter.
Amos 5:7 “O you who are turning right-ruling to wormwood, and have cast down righteousness to the earth!”

Does this not sound like us and the world today. How many babies are killed daily, weekly and what about yearly? The world is filled with pornography, adultery, homosexuality, drugs, and every form of evil.

Isaiah 59:15-16 And the truth is lacking, and whoever turns away from evil makes himself a prey (the believers that do or say something about the wickedness are made to be liars, persecuted.) And Yahuah saw, and it displeased Him that there was no right-ruling. And He saw that there was no man, and was astonished that there was no intercessor. So His own arm saved for Him, and His righteousness upheld him.

Since man was too corrupt, Yahuah needed His own right arm Yahusha (Jesus) to pay the penalty for sin.

Isaiah 63:5, “And I looked, but there was none helping, and I was astonished that there was none upholding. So My own arm saved for Me, and My wrath upheld Me. Psalm 98:1 Sing to Yahuah a new song! For He has done wonders; His right hand and His set-apart arm have brought Him deliverance. Isaiah 40:10 See, the Master Yahuah comes with a strong hand, and His arm rules for Him. See, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him –
This verse sounds like the verse in the book of Revelation. (This is talking about Messiah).

Isaiah 59:17 And He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of deliverance on His head. And He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and wrapped Himself with ardour as a mantle. Romans 12:19 Beloved, do not revenge yourselves, but give place to the wrath, for it has been written, “Vengeance is Mine, I shall repay,” says Yahuah. (Is this not what we must be doing daily – putting on the armor).

Isaiah 59:18-19 According to their deeds, so He repays, wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies. He repays recompense to the coastlands.( Judgment is coming). Verse 19 and they shall fear the Name of Yahuah from the west (Is Abba not talking to Ephraim), and His esteem from the rising of the sun, when He comes like a distressing stream which the Spirit of Yahuah drives on.  (Very little people have the fear of sinning).

Once we understand that we cannot mix sin with the worship of Yahuah, and then we will understand the meaning of the fear of Yahuah.

Isaiah 59:20 “And the Redeemer shall come to Tsiyon, and to those turning from transgression in Jacob,” declares Yahuah.
Isaiah 24:23 and the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed, for Yahuah of hosts shall reign on Mount Tsiyon, and in Jerusalem, and before His elders, in esteem!

This is speaking about the kinsman redeemer, who has the legal right of redemption. When Yahusha came the first time He redeemed the sins of those who repented and accepted His exchange of death for the penalty of their sins, and the second time He will redeem the land back to those in covenant with Him.

Isaiah 44:22 “I shall wipe out your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I shall redeem you.”
Hebrews 9:27-28 And as it awaits men to die once, and after this the judgment, so also the Messiah, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to those waiting for Him, unto deliverance.

This is the turning point.

Isaiah 59:21 “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” said Yahuah: “My Spirit that is upon you (in your heart), and My Words that I have put in your mouth, shall not be withdrawn from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” said Yahuah, “from this time and forever” (are we part of that descendants’ descendants).

His Spirit and His Word operate together, in unity.

Jeremiah 31:31-32 “See, the days are coming,” declares Yahuah, “when I shall make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Yahudah, not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares Yahuah (What covenant was broken: it was the marriage covenant at Mt Sinai which they broke with the golden calf incident).

The person who wrote Hebrews mentions Jeremiah 31:31 in Hebrews 8:8-12 and also it says in Hebrews 10:16-17 “This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says Yahuah, giving My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them,” and, “Their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall remember no more.”

QUESTION: Is Isaiah chapter 59 presently been playing out in this time and in progress of been fulfilled? If I read through chapter 59 I see this chapter playing out right in front of my eyes. On the other hand Isaiah chapter 60 still needs to happen. The book of Revelation has some what the same message as Isaiah Chapter 60 has.

This whole Isaiah chapter 60 is describing the glory of Jerusalem and Israel in the millennial kingdom or the new kingdom.

Isaiah 60:1-3 “Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the esteem of Yahuah has risen upon you. “For look, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness the peoples. But Yahuah arises over you, and His esteem is seen upon you. “And the gentiles (or nations) shall come to your light, and sovereigns to the brightness of your rising.
Revelation 21:23-24 and the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it, for the esteem of Elohim lightened it, and the Lamb is its lamp. And the gentiles, of those who are saved, shall walk in its light, and the sovereigns of the earth bring their esteem into it.
Psalm 119:105 states that the Torah is a lamp to the feet and a light to one's path. Here all people living in the New Kingdom will be following the Torah as a way of life, not for justification which came by the blood of Yahshua, but simply as a way of life distinguishing between right and wrong.

Isaiah 60:4-5 “Lift up your eyes all around and see: all of them have gathered, they have come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are supported on the side. “Then you shall see and be bright, and your heart shall throb and swell, for the wealth of the sea is turned to you, the riches of the gentiles come to you.
Isaiah 60:15-19 “Instead of you being forsaken and hated, so that no one passes through you, I shall make you an everlasting excellence, a joy of many generations. “And you shall drink dry the milk of the gentiles, and shall milk the breast of sovereigns. And you shall know that I, Yahuah, your Saviour and your Redeemer (Yahuah saves = Yahusha), am the Elohim of Israel. “Instead of bronze I bring gold, and instead of iron I bring silver, and bronze instead of wood, and iron instead of stones. And I shall make your officers peace, and your magistrates righteousness. “Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor ruin within your borders. And you shall call your walls Deliverance, and your gates Praise – (looking forward to this time). “No longer is the sun your light by day, nor does the moon give light to you for brightness, but Yahuah shall be to you an everlasting light, and your Elohim your comeliness – (Sounds like the book of Revelation).

Isaiah 60:20 “No longer does your sun go down, nor your moon withdraw itself, for Yahuah shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.
Revelation 21:4 “And Elohim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away.” Revelation 22:5 and night shall be no more, and they shall have no need of a lamp or the light of the sun, because Yahuah Elohim shall give them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

Isaiah 60:21 “And your people, all of them righteous, shall inherit the earth forever – a branch of My planting, a work of My hands, to be adorned.
Revelation 5:10 and made us sovereigns and priests to our Elohim, and we shall reign upon the earth.”

The first fruit believers will reign with Messiah during the 1,000 year millennium and into eternity on the earth.

Daniel 7:18 ‘Then the set-apart ones of the Most High shall receive the reign, and possess the reign forever, even forever and ever.’
Revelation 1:6 and has made us sovereigns and priests to His Elohim and Father, to Him be esteem and rule forever and ever. Amein.
Revelation 20:4 and I saw thrones – and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them – and the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the witness they bore to Yahusha and because of the Word of Elohim, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years.

Isaiah 60:22 “The little shall become a thousand and the small one a strong nation. I, Yahuah, shall hasten it in its time” (Remnant of believers – does the 1000 in the verse mean the 100 years).
Isaiah 41:14, “Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel! I shall help you,” declares Yahuah and your Redeemer, the Set-apart One of Israel.
Luke 18:17, “Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the reign of Elohim as a little child, shall certainly not enter into it.”
Mathew 13:31-32 Another parable He put before them, saying, “The reign of the heavens is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is less than all the seeds, but when it is grown it is greater than the plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the heaven come and dwell in its branches.”

Final word on the two chapters of Isaiah:  Isaiah Chapter 59 is in progress and by far not complete. Many wicked things still need to happen. On the one side you have the majority people been part of the world and on the other side you have a small remnant of believers that have His Spirit and His words written on their hearts that will prevail till the end. They cannot turn back.
Isaiah Chapter 60 is something the small remnant of believers that made it through chapter 59 is looking forward to. Isaiah Chapter 60 and part of the book of Revelation are hand in hand the future.

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of Elohim, which was hidden in a secret, and which Elohim ordained before the ages for our esteem…
Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret matters belong to Yahuah our Elohim, but what is revealed belongs to us and to our children forever, to do all the Words of this Torah.
Daniel 2:21-22 “And He changes the times and the seasons. He removes sovereigns and raises up sovereigns. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who possess understanding. “He reveals deep and secret matters. He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.

Did Moses, Daniel and Isaiah know the secrets of Yahuah and the future? Paul seems to know the hidden secrets as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 2:7.

Is that hidden secret now reveled to those committed to Him? Those studying His Word – are the hidden secrets been revealed to those that now fear Him.

Remember: the fear of Yahuah is wisdom/knowledge.
