Through Praise

When we lift our voices to praise Him and lift up His Name, we find His Presence, His joy, His peace (rest). When we focus on Him and what we have to be grateful for (our salvation/eternal life, a roof over our head, food, water, being free to spread His Word), we find Him, in His joy!

He told us to put on the garment of praise to get rid of the spirit of heaviness.

Isaiah 61:3 to appoint unto those who mourn in Tsiyon: to give them embellishment for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. And they shall be called trees of righteousness, a planting of Yahuah, to be adorned.

When we praise Him, we cast off the forces of darkness causing us to live in despair and invite Him to restore us to joy!

When you start to feel the spirit of heaviness or you simply don’t “feel” His Presence, start praising and singing songs of praise to Him! Praise Yahuah with everything you have! Go to a quiet place and talk to Him through prayer asking Him for His blessing.

A while ago I went through that heaviness of depression when on the day everything went wrong. I sat down and felt like giving up! I cried out to Father asking Him for His love! I even asked Him if He loved me. That evening before getting into bed I sat on my bed looking into the dark sky through my bedroom window asking Heavenly Father for His blessing. I fell asleep awhile later and the next morning I woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day, thanking the Almighty for His blessing.

Psalm 150:6 let all that have breath praise Yah.

“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of Elohim in Messiah Yahusha concerning you” - 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

“…giving thanks always and for everything to Elohim the Father in the name of our Master Yahusha Messiah” - Ephesians 5:20.

Psalm 34:1 I bless Yahuah at all times; His praise is continually in my mouth.

Hebrews 13:15 through Him then, let us continually offer up a slaughter offering of praise to Elohim, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name.

Hoshea (Hosea) 14:2 take words with you, and return to Yahuah. Say to Him, “Take away all crookedness, and accept what is good, and we render the bulls of our lips.
Bulls, referring to offerings – read Hebrews 13:15.

O Yahuah, I praise You! HalleluYah my Creator!

Lamp & Light

The dragon (satan) was angered with the woman (Messiah), and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed (Believers in Messiah), those guarding the commands of Elohim (Almighty) and having the witness of Yahusha Messiah - Revelation 12:17.

Satan is going after the ones that are keeping the commands of Father and have given their life to Messiah.

Revelation 14:12, confirms the same; Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones (true believers), they are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yahusha (Jesus).

The 2 verses in Revelation clearly states that satan goes after the people that keep the commandments of Elohim. I therefore cannot understand how the church leaders of today say that the commands of Father are no longer required.

The author of Psalms 119:105; says, Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

What word of Elohim are a lamp and a light?

Proverbs 6:23, tells us that the word is a lamp and a light; for the command is a lamp, and the Torah (Law or instruction or command) a light.

What do you use in the lamp to make it light up, oil!

Proverbs 21:20, Desirable treasure and oil, are in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man swallows it up. Other words, the wise (oil) will follow the word (lamp) and the instructions (light) of Elohim).

The wise in heart accepts commands, but one with foolish lips falls - Proverbs 10:8.

The Torah of Yahuah (Heavenly Father) is perfect, bringing back the being; the witness of Yahuah is trustworthy, making wise the simple; the orders of Yahuah are straight, rejoicing the heart; the command of Yahuah is clear, enlightening the eyes - Psalms 19:7-8.

The Torah (commands) is more desirable than fine gold and sweeter than honey - Psalms 19:10.

Are you wise (oil), is the word (lamp) at your feet and is His Torah (light) part of your path.

Is His Word the truth! Anyone that says His Word is the truth ought also to say His commands is truth. Not only one command is truth but all His commands.

Read Revelation 12:17 & 14:12 again! The evil one is after the believers that keep His commands and who walk as Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) walks.

Love of Abba Father

Messiah said not to worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow has enough worries of its own. Matthew 6:34 “Do not, then, worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow shall have its own worries. Each day has enough evil of itself.

How true is that! But some days it is difficult not to worry!

How wonderful to know that all we have to do today is to focus on what would bring joy to His heart.

What brings Him joy?

The answer to that question is what brings joy to earthly fathers and parents alike – their children. When children obey their parents out of a willing heart! When children are honest and loyal! When our children get along with each sibling! When our children choose to do the right thing over what their friends may say or think is the right decision... this brings us joy. When our children’s behavior reflects the nature of the Scriptures, which have been used to bring them up in the way of Yahuah – helping them to know the difference between good and evil… this brings us joy. These things bring us, as parents, great joy!

Sometimes parents long for the day when their children grow up and are able to take on their own burden of responsibilities. As parents, though, we will always try to stay involved in their lives – ready to direct them in a moment’s notice. It is good to be needed, especially by the ones whom we have spent so much time with pouring in wisdom, direction, discipline and love.

Is our Heavenly Father, any different? He needs to be needed. He desires to exercise His role as Parent and Guardian – we should simply desire to be the child whose sole effort in life is to completely rely upon the One who chose us out for Himself, from the foundation of the world.

Today and everyday…allow Him to take back the responsibility of being Master over your life, for therein lies the key to living in the fullness of joy!

This truly is what will bring joy to His heart - the joy of having His child's heart, your heart.

“As the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you. Stay in My love. “If you guard My commands, you shall stay in My love, even as I have guarded My Father’s commands and stay in His love. “These words I have spoken to you, so that My joy might be in you, and that your joy might be complete” - John 15:9-11.

Messiah showed us....

Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) came to show us how to live out the Torah (teachings and instructions); to fulfill the sacrifices and live the teachings and instructions in front of us, so that we might understand fully. If He did away with the “Old,” then why do we follow the 10 commandments?

See Matthew 5:17-30 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens. “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens. “You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder,’ and whoever murders shall be liable to judgment. “But I say to you that whoever is wroth with his brother without a cause shall be liable to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raka!’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be liable to fire of Gehenna. “If, then, you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother holds whatever against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go, first make peace with your brother, and then come and offer your gift. “Be well-minded with your opponent, promptly, while you are on the way with him, lest your opponent deliver you to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. “Truly, I say to you, you shall by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny. “You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ “But I say to you that everyone looking at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. “And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gehenna. “And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gehenna (hell).

We cannot pick and choose what we want to follow and what we do not. He never promoted a religious system of man.

That is why He was so abrupt to point out to the Pharisees and Sadducees, that there “religiosity” was no good. He pointed out that they “looked” like they followed His teachings, rules, and instructions, but they only did lip service. He also pointed out that they added traditions of man to what He said to do. He tells us to do as Moses said to do.

All who have sin have consequences. These consequences have always been curses (see Deuteronomy 28 and Lamentations 3:65 and chapter 5) which until they are repented for, restoration cannot come.

All people, who accept Messiah as the Son of Elohim and believe He came to die/atone for our sins, and then rose again so that we can have the hope of eternal life in the Kingdom when our life here is done, are grafted into the renewed Covenant (New Covenant)!

What does this mean? Romans 11 makes it clear that all ‘natural’ and ‘wild’ branches have been broken off and will be re-grafted into the good Olive Tree (Who is Messiah).

This means if we are “grafted in,” we become citizens of His Kingdom and we agree to follow His rules, commandments, teaching and instructions. Ephesians 2:19-22 so then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the set apart ones and members of the household of Elohim, having been built upon the foundation of the emissaries (disciples) and prophets, Yahusha Messiah Himself being chief corner-stone, in whom all the building, being joined together, grows into a set-apart Dwelling Place in Yahuah, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of Elohim in the Spirit.

Romans 11:17-24 and if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, have been grafted in among them, and came to share the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. And if you boast, remember: you do not bear the root, but the root bears you! You shall say then, “The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Good! By unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by belief. Do not be arrogant, but fear. For if Elohim did not spare the natural branches, He might not spare you either. See then the kindness and sharpness of Elohim: on those who fell sharpness, but toward you kindness, if you continue in His kindness, otherwise you also shall be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for Elohim is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more shall these who are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

The true believers (also being obedient) from among the gentiles (nations), are grafted in among the true Israelites after the flesh – those who are true because they believe and obey.

Isaiah 14:1 Because Yahuah has compassion on Jacob (Israel), and shall again choose Israel, and give them rest in their own land. And the strangers (gentiles) shall join them, and they shall cling to the house of Jacob (Israel).

All shall be known as Israel and Yahusha (Jesus) shall be the King and He shall reign over Israel forever more – Luke 1:33.

Meditate in His.....

Blessed is the man (woman) who shall not walk in the counsel (advice) of the wrong (wicked), and shall not stand in the path of sinners, and shall not sit in the seat of scoffers (mockers), but his delight (man or woman) is in the Torah of Yahuah (Law/Instructions of Heavenly Father), and he meditates in His Torah day and night - Psalms 1:1-2.

Other Bible translations say law for the word Torah. Torah is Hebrew for instructions.

Father says that the man or woman that spends his/her time in studying His Word (Torah) will be blessed, and he/she shall also be blessed if they do not listen to man-made traditions, walk or sit with sinners or mockers.

“Do not let this Book of the Law (Torah) depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night ...Joshua 1:8.

Moses said, "Set your heart on all the words with which I warn you today, so that you command your children to guard to do all the Words of this Torah.  ”For it is not a worthless Word for you, because it is your life, and by this Word you prolong your days........... Deuteronomy 32:46-47.

The Christian Church says that the Law is no longer applicable as the Old Testament is "old" therefore it no longer applies to our new life. On the other hand the Rabbis of Judaism have added their own laws making it their man-made traditions which Messiah warned us about.

Strangely the Church loves to use verses out of Psalms and Proverbs which is from the Old Testament, they would not read the complete chapter but would exclude the verses where the "law" is mentioned, examples from above verse in Psalms 1, Joshua 1 and Deuteronomy 32. They are three examples of chapters stating that the commands (Torah or Law or Instructions) are important to keep and to mediate on day and night.

Elohim (Almighty) reveals to us how and why Abraham qualified to be the father of Israel, for we read in Genesis 26:5, “Because Abraham obeyed My voice and guarded My charge: My commands, My laws, and My teachings.” Again, when Israel was saved out of Egypt, the land of sin, He laid down His condition for Israel to be His people, as we read in Exodus 19:5-6, “If you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples – for all the earth is Mine – and you yourselves become to Me a reign of priests and a set-apart (Holy) nation.”

And for us it is no different, for Yahusha (Jesus) is the embodiment of that same Word, that same Voice, which we need to hear, and obey.

Yahuah said from heaven in Matthew 17:5 while he was still speaking, see, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And see, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I did delight. Hear Him!”

Again in John 3:36 “He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him.”

Messiah said, "If you love me, do my commands" – John 14:15.

Messiah said He does His Father’s commands in John 15:10 “If you guard My commands, you shall stay in My love, even as I have guarded My Father’s commands and stay in His love.

This is what will happen to those believers that do not do the Father and His Son’s commands in Acts 3:22-23 “For Moses truly said to the fathers, Yahuah your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet (Messiah) like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear according to all matters, whatever He says to you. ‘And it shall be that every being who does not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

Who are the liars? 1 John 2:3-6 tells us who they are: And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.

Satan (devil/dragon) are after those believers who are keeping the commands in Revelation 12:17 and the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of Yahusha (Jesus) Messiah.

Who are the ones that are enduring till the end? Read Revelation 14:12 here is the endurance of the set-apart ones (remnant of believers), here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yahusha.

Yahusha (Jesus) and the commands (Law/Torah/instructions) go hand-in-hand.
