Messiah, "Do not think that I have come to bring peace
on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword (division), for I have come
to bring division, a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law and a man's enemies are those of
his own household - Matthew
10:34-36.
In Micah
7:6, it says that the enemies of a man are the men (family members) of
his own house.
Why would Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) say He did not come to
bring peace but a division! I was confused by this verse when I read it the
first time! Is Messiah not love, I was told that He is love, so why these harsh
words!
But I went through a division myself at the time of writing
and I think I understand better now what Messiah was saying and I will try to
explain this in my own words.
Yahuah created us to serve Him (not the other way round),
and to have a personnel relationship with us. He did not create us to be robots
where He could have implanted in us to only serve Him without any choice.
Like all the Angels in heaven, He has given us a free will!
A free choice to serve Him or not to serve Him! A free will to do good or to do
bad!
I have asked this question many times and I am sure you have
done the same; why does Yahuah not just destroy satan and the wicked ones and
then we will not have wickedness in this world! Father can do this if He wanted
too, but that is not what He wants!
He wants a person to make his/her own choice to serve Him,
not to force someone to serve Him.
So, one day at the end of this age, Father will have people
that really love Him and want to serve Him always because they choose for
themselves to follow Him. They were not forced to follow Him!
Once we have made the choice to follow Yahusha (Jesus), we
then must comply to Father's conditions! The conditions (laws) are there to
guide us to Him, not to burden us as many people are been taught.
Satan has one law: do as you wish, and many people prefer to
abide to this one law.
Yahusha cares for us just like our daddy and mommy cared for
us when we were children.
Remember the parables of the 10 virgins, the sower, weeds
between the wheat, the mustard seed, the tree that bears fruit and the wedding
feast? These parables are about false believers, lukewarm believers and the
true believers.
This is what the division means in a man’s house with
his/her family, that the true believers will be separated from the false or
lukewarm believers. Man, against his father, a daughter against her mother, and
so on - Matthew 10:35-36.
I realize that Yahusha did not say anything about a husband
and a wife! Why not? It is because a man and a woman become one at their
marriage, and therefore should not be a division between them if they both stay
in Yahusha.
Many people confess to believing Yahusha but did you know
satan and demons also believe Yahusha - James 2:19.
The division comes between the ones saying they believe and
the ones doing the believe!
The false/lukewarm believers’ belief by their lips (bear no
fruit) - Matthew 7:15-20.
The true believer has faith by doing (bear good fruit) - John 15:2-5 & 16.
Read also James
2:14-26, My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but
does not have works? This belief is unable to save him. And if a brother or sister is naked and in
need of daily food, but one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be
filled,” but you do not give them the bodily needs, what use is it? So also
belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead. But someone might say,
“You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your belief without your works,
and I shall show you my belief by my works. You believe that Elohim is one. You
do well. The demons also believe – and shudder! But do you wish to know, O
foolish man, that the belief without the works is dead? Was not Abraham our
father declared right by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do
you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the works the belief
was perfected? And the Scripture was filled which says, “Abraham believed
Elohim, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness.” And he was called,
“Elohim’s friend.” You see, then, that a man is declared right by works, and
not by belief alone. In the same way, was not Rahab the whore also declared
right by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the belief is dead without
the works.
The true bride (believers) will be the ones that are
separated from the false brides and the true bride are the ones that want to be
with the Bridegroom (Messiah Yahusha), they are part of Him out of their free
will!
Be warned!
Division within families and friends will happen but this
can be avoided if the family/friends stay in Yahusha and His Holy Spirit in
them!
