Hate the world

Where do fightings and strivings come from among you? Do they not come from your pleasures that battle in your members? All the troubles in relationships come from striving for the pleasures of the world. You desire, and do not have. You murder, and jealous, and are unable to obtain. You strive and fight, and you do not possess, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask evilly (evil deeds), in order to spend it on your pleasures - James 4:1-3.

Other words, you ask for the wrong things because what you ask is the pleasures of the world and Yahuah does not give from the world.

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with Elohim?
Whoever therefore intends to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy (opposed or hostile) of Elohim - James 4:4.

What does it mean to be a friend of the world?

And why does a person who is a friend of the world became an enemy of Elohim?

Why does Father not want us to be a friend of the world?

To be a friend of the world you strive after worldly accomplishments like getting a degree, becoming a sport star, music or a movie star.

But that is not all! Striving after a bigger house, a fancy car, a work position with status, receiving praises from people, being better than other people, a person being self-seeking (always wants to be important).

This is of the world! It's proudness, puffed up, a boaster, been a friend of the world.

Being self-seeking, proud and receiving praises is an abomination (a disgust) to Yahuah.

All you receive in this world, the gifts are of Yahuah, not from anyone else not even yourself.

Father hates proudness and self-seeking.

Read the following verse again, again and again until you understand what Yahuah wants from you: do not love the world nor that which is in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him - 1 John 2:15.

Clear as mud!

He loves someone that is humble, down to earth, not seeking riches and not striving to be important.

Strive after Yahuah and His kingdom, strive to do His will, strive to learn the scripture and strive to give His word to other people so they can come to know Messiah and be saved.

Remember what Messiah said; Seek first the kingdom of Yahuah and then He may give what you ask!

The Kingdom comes first!
