The Word in you (Messiah)

Revelation 12:17 and Revelation 14:12 gives us two principles to true worship: 1) To guard the commands of Yahuah, and 2) to believe in Yahusha (Jesus).

Just like Jacob overcame so too we must overcome!

Overcome of what?

Overcome SIN!

The only way to overcome sin is to have the Ruach ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) in you. To walk as Messiah walked.

That is how Jacob did it! When he struggled with Elohim and held on until he prevailed, his life changed and he walked with Yahuah till the very end.

We too can become over-comers when we have the Ruach ha Kodesh in us.

Believers talk of been "saved" or they have "deliverance(salvation)!" According to scripture you need to be saved from sin -Matthew 1:21 “And she shall give birth to a Son, and you shall call His Name Yahusha for He shall save His people from their sins.”

The indwelling of Yahusha gives us the power to overcome sin.

That is the secret of overcoming, to endure to the end, for only those who endure to the end shall be saved in the day of judgment.

To achieve the two principles that Revelation speaks of (keep the commands and believe in Yahusha) you need to accept and live the following:

1) Turn to Yahusha, to believe in Him and accept Him. Acknowledge and accept that He paid a price for your sins. He is the perfect offering for your sins and for the forgiveness of your sins.

2) The blessing and privilege of having the Messiah in you, also called the Word in you, or called the Ruach ha Kodesh or Set-apart (Holy) Spirit or Spirit of Truth in you. The Spirit (Holy Spirit) represents the Father and the Son - Read John 14:23 Yahusha answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him.

This is very important to understand as this is sadly neglected by many. It is the only way to overcome the wicked one (ruler) of this world. Yahusha says in John 15:5, “Because without Me you are able to do nothing”!

There is however a condition that Messiah has for Him (the Spirit/Ruach) to live in us: We have to guard (keep) His Words (Commands/Torah), which are the same as the Words (Commands) of His Father.

The Spirit (Ruach), only lives in us if we guard His Words (Commands) – John 14:23 and 1 John 3:24  And the one guarding His commands stays in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He stays in us, by the Spirit which He gave us.

This fact is repeated for us in Acts 5:32 “And we are His witnesses to these matters, and so also is the Set-apart Spirit whom Elohim has given to those who obey Him.”

Does Revelation 12:17, 14:12 and 15:2-3 make sense to you now: you will be over-comers when you keep the commands and believe in Messiah, this then will lead to singing the song of Moses and the Lamb.

Having the Messiah in you, is nothing else but the life of obedience, to be set apart (holy), as we sit at the feet of Yahusha and learn from Him, feeding on the Word, in order to grow to maturity and bear the fruit of righteousness!

This obedience to Yahusha is not optional, no, it is of vital importance, for without this life of set-apartness (set apart from the sins of this world), no one shall see Him - Hebrews 12:14 Pursue peace with all, and pursue apartness without which no one shall seethe Master.

If we truly love Him, we shall indeed obey Him. Confirmed in

Exodus 20:6  but showing kindness to thousands,to those who love Me and guard My commands.

John 14:15 “If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.

1 John 5:2-4 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard His commands. For this is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy, because everyone having been born of Elohim overcomes the world.

2 John verse 6 And this is the love, that we walk according to His commands. This is the command, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

This obedience to Yahusha is vital - read John 3:36 “He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him.”

Acts 3:22-23 “For Moses truly said to the fathers,Yahuah your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear according to all matters, whatever He says to you.‘And it shall be that every being who does not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

Hebrews 5:9 And having been perfected, He became the Causer of everlasting deliverance to all those obeying Him, …

Obeying Yahusha results in, and is the same as obedience to the Commands (Torah) of Yahuah, and is an essential condition for everlasting life – Matthew 19:17 And He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One –Elohim. But if you wish to enter into life, guard the commands.”

John 12:50 “And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak,as the Father has said to Me, so I speak.”

Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are those doing m His commands,so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city.

Those who hear the Words (Commands) of Yahusha, but do not do them, shall fall, greatly - Matthew 7:24-27 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does them, shall be like a wise man who built his house on the rock, and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.“And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not do them, shall be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell, and great was its fall.”Read Luke 6:46-49 as well.

This revealed secret (mystery) of “Messiah in us” is the only hope for the believers, for them to truly overcome (Colossians 1:27).

No other hope.

It is the secret and the key to a life of overcoming, to be truly set-apart (holy). If a person is still sinning after accepting and believing in Yahusha, then that person needs to ask: "Do I really have the Messiah/Set-apart (Holy) Spirit or maybe I have the Spirit but I am not listening to the Spirit (blaspheming the Spirit)?"

1 John 3:4 and 1 John 5:17 says "sin is lawlessness." “All unrighteousness is sin.”

It is as simple as that!

There are two types of sin. The one is to sin by mistake, or unknowingly or unintentionally. For this we receive forgiveness and grace from Yahusha. The other sin is to sin defiantly, or else knowingly, both of these being serious.

We read in Exodus 34:7, and other places, that Yahuah by no means leaves sin unpunished!

David is one good example; repented of his sin of adultery and murder, and received forgiveness. However, he was punished afterwards, five-fold!

At times Elohim executed punishment for defiant sinning immediately, example in Numbers 15:30-36.

Please do not take this lightly and many may see this as harsh words and it may be for those who are lukewarm believers.

I myself realize after this study how serious this is and bearing the fruit of my faith is a must!

Walking the talk is essential and I do not want to be called a "hypocrite" by Yahusha for just talking the talk.

I share this with you because of the important message.

Test all, do your own study and ask the Set-apart (Holy) Spirit to guide and to teach you the Truth.

True worship (True worshiper)

Revelation tells us how to be a true worshiper.

There are two very important principles a true worshiper has to comply to and these two are:

1) To guard the commands of Yahuah, and

2) to believe in Yahusha (Jesus)

Read Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of  Yahusha Messiah.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yahusha.

In Revelation 15:2-3 it says the overcomers are those who sing the song of Moses (the Torah/Commands) and the song of the Lamb (Yahusha) = guard commands of Yahuah and believe in Yahusha.

Let me remind you who the over-comers (overcome) are: Jacob's (Ya'aqob) name was changed to Israel (Yisra’Ãl) because Jacob “overcame (prevailed) with El or Elohim and means the Mighty One.

The prophets speak of this one nation that shall be over-comers when Messiah returns!

Who else overcomes with El but Israel (true Yisra’Ãl)!

The four other witnesses to true worship are the "Word," "Command" and "Teaching" that are often used as parallel words, or synonyms, or interchangeably and are found in;

Revelation 1:2 who bore witness to the Word of Elohim, and the witness of  Yahusha Messiah– to all he saw.

Revelation 1:9 I, John, both your brother and cosharer in pressure, and in the reign and endurance of Yahusha Messiah, came to be on the island that is called Patmos for the Word of Elohim and for the witness of Yahusha Messiah.

Revelation 6:9 And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the beings of those having been slain for the Word of Elohim and for the witness which they held...

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones – and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them –and the lives of those who had been beheaded because of the witness they bore to Yahusha and because of the Word of Elohim, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive his mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years.

Perfect witnesses to true worship.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.

John confirms the Messiah is the Word (commands) and we need to believe in Him.

Psalm 119:142 Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and Your Torah (Command/Word) is truth.

Psalm 119:151 You are near, O Yahuah, and all Your commands are truth.

Psalm 119:160 The sum of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous right-rulings are forever.

Proverbs 13:13 He who despises the Word is destroyed, but he who fears the command is rewarded.

Yah is Salvation - Isaiah 12

Isaiah 12 is one powerful prophesy that referred to the Messiah who would save His people in the future.

Verse 1, "I thank You Yahuah, though You were angry with me, Your anger has turned back, and You comforted me.

We have been in this situation when Yahuah was not happy with us because of our sins. Then repentance follows and Yahuah forgives us and He comforts us.

In verse 2 the Messiah is shown to those who know the truth as normal church going Christian would not see; His Name! Many of us do not know the ancient language because we were not taught the Hebrew language and therefore, we would not know or find His Name.

This is what a Christian would see in his/her KJV Bible: Behold, God is my salvation.

In the ISR Bible: See, El is my deliverance (salvation),.. or El is my salvation which in Hebrew will be something like Yah is salvation. El means Mighty One or Strength.

Exodus 15:2 “Yah is my strength and song, and He has become my deliverance. He is my El, and I praise Him – Elohim of my father, and I exalt Him.

Psalm 118:14 Yah is my strength and song, and He has become my deliverance (salvation).

A psalm, prophesying about Messiah to come, the Saviour (Deliverer) of Yah.

Salvation (save) in ancient Hebrew is "sha" (H-3467) or "shua," (H-7769) which is Yahu-sha or Yah-shua and in modern Hebrew (with vowel points added) it is 'Yeshua' (H3091) which means He saves.

The Creator has a Name.

Adam, Moses, Abraham, Jacob, David and all the prophets knew the Creator's Name.

When Yahusha was on earth He was the exact representation of Yahuah the Father, not the same being, although they have the same spirit.

From my research, I have found that Yahusha (Yah-saves) is the most accurate transliteration of the ancient language for the Messiah's Name.

I may not have gotten His Name completely right but I’m trying too. What is important is that Yah saves or deliverers.

Compassion on Jacob (Israel)

Because Yahuah has compassion on Jacob, and shall again choose Israel, and give them rest in their own land - Isaiah 14:1.

Compassion on Jacob and choose Israel! If you do not read your scriptures often, you will think Yahuah is talking about two different groups of people (nations) that He will choose and have compassion on. No, this is one group of people He is talking about and the key word here is "choose again!"

Israel's original name was Jacob, which was changed by the Almighty Himself to Israel (see Genesis 35:10).  Today we have the Christian church on the one side saying the church has replaced Israel and on the other side we have the Jews saying they are the chosen people and other people cannot be part of them. Both the Christians and Jews are not correct as these verses tell us the chosen group of people are Jacob (Israel) alone.

They shall be put to shame, and even be humiliated, all of them – the makers of idols shall go away together in humiliation. Israel shall be saved by Yahuah with an everlasting deliverance. You are not to be ashamed nor hurt, forever and ever. - Isaiah 45:16-17.

‘For I am with you,’ declares Yahuah, ‘to save you (Yah saves = Yahu sha. Yahusha = Jesus).

Always been a promise to save His people.

Though I make a complete end of all gentiles (heathens = worship other gods) where I have scattered you, yet I do not make a complete end of you. But I shall reprove you in judgment, and by no means leave you unpunished’ - Jeremiah 30:11.

Here Yahuah says they are scattered all over the world and He will judge and punish them because of their disobedience.

This is no different today! Israel is living in all four corners of the earth and they have lost their identity (lost tribes of Israel) but as He promised, His Son Yahusha was sent to redeem them and He has also sent disciples to tell them of Yahusha. Luke 1:33“And He shall reign over the house of Jacob (Israel) forever, and there shall be no end to His reign.” Read also Luke 1:68-69 and Luke 2:34.

“Do not fear, O Jacob My servant,” declares Yahuah, “for I am with you (Yahuah is confirming His promise to be with them).

Though I make a complete end of all the gentiles to which I have driven you, yet I do not make a complete end of you.

He will save them (Yahusha came to do this and will come again to finally save them/us).

But I shall reprove you in right-ruling, and by no means leave you unpunished” - Jeremiah 46:28.

Confirming that anyone that says they are believers will be punished if they continue in sin.

“And in the days of these sovereigns the Elah (Almighty) of the heavens shall set up a reign which shall never be destroyed, nor the reign pass on to other people – it crushes and puts to an end all these reigns, and it shall stand forever - Daniel 2:44.

A prophesy that has not been fulfilled yet - only Yahusha's reign (Kingdom) will stand and it will be forever.

“Look, the eyes of the Master Yahuah are on the sinful reign, and I shall destroy it from the face of the earth, except that, I do not completely destroy the house of Jacob (Israel),” declares Yahuah - Amos 9:8.

All the sinful nations including part of Israel who are in sin will be destroyed.

“Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Tsiyon! For look, I am coming, and shall dwell in your midst,” declares Yahuah.  “And many gentiles shall be joined to Yahuah in that day, and they shall become My people – Zechariah 2:10-11.

People that worshipped other gods will repent and worship the One true Creator and He will accept them into His chosen people.

And I shall dwell in your midst (Just like He did in the beginning with Adam and Eve). And you shall know that Yahuah of hosts has sent Me to you (This is Yahusha) talking. “And Yahuah shall inherit Yahudah (Judah), His portion in the Set-apart Land. And He shall again choose Jerusalem - Zechariah 2:11-12.

And Yahuah shall roar from Tsiyon, and give forth His voice from Jerusalem. And the heavens and earth shall shake, but Yahuah shall be a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the children of Israel (Jacob) - Joel 3:16.

Song of thanksgiving - Isaiah 12

Isaiah 12, And in that day you shall say, “I thank You Yahuah, though You were enraged with me, Your displeasure has turned back, and You have comforted me.

“See, El is my deliverance (salvation), I trust and am not afraid. For Yah, Yahuah, is my strength and my song; and He has become my deliverance (salvation).” And you shall draw water with joy from the fountains of deliverance (salvation).

And in that day you shall say, “Praise Yahuah, call upon His Name; make known His deeds among the peoples, make mention that His Name is exalted.“Sing to Yahuah, for He has done excellently;this is known in all the earth.

“Cry aloud and shout, O inhabitant of Tsiyon, for great is the Set-apart One of Israel in your midst!”

This is a song of thanksgiving! A song of forgiveness! A song of the Almighty saving us! A song of His great Name!

Exodus 15:2“Yah is my strength and song, and He has become my deliverance. He is my El (Almighty),and I praise Him – Elohim of my father, and I exalt Him.

This prophetic phrase is repeated in Psalm 118:14 and again in Isaiah 12:2.

In both these latter two places one might see it as a Messianic prophecy of the Messiah to come: the Yahu-Sha of Yah – giving us an indication of Messiah’s Name and what His Name means!

Psalm 118:14 Yah is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.

Psalm 118 is a great psalm, prophesying about Messiah to come, the Saviour (Deliverer) of Yah.

This Psalm about Yahusha (Jesus) precedes the Psalm about the law, Psalm 119,for unless we are first declared righteous through belief in Him, we would have difficulty in saying, “Oh how I love Your teaching!” (Psalm 119:97).

We have to exult the Name of Yahuah, to sing to His Name, to raise His Name, to glorify His Name.

How could one do this without knowing what His true Name is?
