Not turn back to Me

 

 

 

 

 

Hear this word, you cows of Bashan, who are on the mountain of Shomeron (Samaria), who are oppressing the poor, who are crushing the needy, who are saying to their husbands, “Bring wine, let us drink!” The Master Yahuah has sworn by His set apartness, “See, days are coming upon you when He shall take you away with hooks, and your descendants with fish-hooks, and let you go out at the breaches, each woman before her, and you shall be cast out toward Harmon (Har-Manea),” declares Yahuah – Amos 4:1-3.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In Amos 4:4-5 it mentions of Israel’s transgressing, false offerings, false tithes and been rebellious, therefore Yah says you love to do these things sons of Israel.

Then in the next verses 6-11 Yah speaks of the punishment that He brings on the people but still after all this warnings, Yah says 5 x in these verses you still do not turn back to Me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is rebellion is it not? Looking at our situation today, are we not in the same position; been in rebellion.

Are we hearing the truth but still we do not turn back to Yah and walk in righteousness?

But hear this my friends what Yah says to the people that do not turn away from their rebellious ways; So, I will do this to you, O Israel: Because of this I will do to you, prepare to meet your Elohim, O Israel (Amos 4:12).

 

Amos 4:13 For, behold, He who forms mountains and creates the wind and declares to man what His thought is, He who makes the dawn darkness, and treads on the high places of the earth; Yahuah, the Elohim of Hosts, is His name.

Due to Israel's grave sin, they would be meeting their maker whose name is Yahuah.

Let us learn from this lesson and truly turn back to Yahuah.
