TEACH US HOW TO PRAY

In Luke 11:2-4; the disciples asked Messiah to teach them how to pray and He said, when you pray say:

OUR FATHER IN THE HEAVENS, LET YOUR NAME BE SET-APART (Holy)

(Father's Name should be the only one used and no other. His Name must be separate from all pagan gods, we should not mention any other gods but the true living Creator because He is set-apart (Holy)),

LET YOUR REIGN COME

(we must ask for His Kingdom to come quick),

LET YOUR DESIRE BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN

(let Father's will be done here on earth because in heaven His will is done).

GIVE US DAY BY DAY OUR DAILY BREAD

(thank Him for our daily food, our health, our work, our family, our home and daily living).

AND FORGIVE OUR SINS (ask forgiveness for the wrong things we do and ask for guidance),

FOR WE ALSO FORGIVE EVERYONE WHO IS INDEBTED TO US

(forgive those who did us wrong as Father forgave us).

AND DO NOT LEAD US INTO TRAIL

(guide us through our difficult times),

BUT RESCUE US FROM THE WICKED ONE

(protect us from sin/evil).

(The Scriptures ISR)

Prayer is the most important tool in communicating with the Creator of the heavens and earth. If there is no prayer then there is no growth or understanding. If we want our relationship with Father/Messiah to grow, we need to talk to Him through prayer. If you love Him you will talk to Him daily in prayer. If you know the Creator's Name, use His Name as His Name has power. Call Him by His Name, He knows your name. Never stop praying.

Do not pray like the Pharisees did in Luke 18:11-12; Master, I thank You that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, covetous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.

Scripture tells us never to stop praying.

1 Thess. 5:17, Pray without ceasing.

Ephes. 6:18, Through all prayer and petition, praying at all times in the Spirit, and watching to this same thing with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.

Paul (Saul) also asks in verse 19 to pray for him. Likewise we should pray for each other.

Jude 1:20, But you, beloved, building yourselves up by your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

Daniel was found 3 times a day on his knees praying – Daniel 6:10-11. Daniel had a personal relationship with Yahuah (Yahweh). He walked with the Almighty Father daily. He did nothing before speaking to Father through prayer.

Prayer is meant to be a solemn dialogue from the heart, not a memorized repetitious chanting that many still do today.

We speak to the Creator the same way we speak to our earthly father.

Make time for Him, go into your quiet place and speak to Yahuah (Yahweh) through His son Yahusha (Yahshua - Jesus) Messiah. The Almighty has done so much for us; there is nothing we can do for Him but only to be obedience to His word/will.

Bless Yah.
