Happiness

Where do we find happiness? We look for acknowledgement/recognition from others, success in life and overall happiness according to the world’s standards instead of Heavenly Father Yahuah’s standards.

That is what causes most unhappiness. We focus on people pleasing, especially our friends, co-workers and our boss. We measure our success or failure against others or by the world’s definition. We look to our friends and even our spouse to fulfill voids in our life or to “make” us happy. Then, we are kept so busy by the world system, we don’t have to “feel” unhappy nor do we have time to think about it.

All Yahuah (Heavenly Father) wants is to be our Father; He wants a family that He can love and will love Him back. You love Him and please Him by doing His will, following His commandments, spending time with Him.

We please Him when we focus on Him and what He did for us through His Son. We please Him when we use the tools He gave us (His Word, His Spirit) to be truly, internally joyful in all circumstances!

When we immerse ourselves in His Word, utter and praise His Name, utter His Word throughout the day, and witness to others using His Word as the Spirit leads, we will be filled with joy and be pleasing to Him…and that is His measure of success.

The only Person that can fill any void in our life is Him and His Word!

“This Book of the Law (Torah) shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success” - Joshua 1:8.

“…Yahusha Messiah stood and cried out, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him would receive;…” John 7:37-39.

Psalm 19:14 let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before You, O Yahuah, my rock and my redeemer.

1 Chronicles 28:9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know the Elohim of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a pleasing life, for Yahuah searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you do seek Him, He is found by you; but if you forsake Him, He rejects you forever.

Seek only Him and please Him! That is where true happiness is found!

The Rock

Matthew 16:13-14, Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) asked the disciples what do men say who the Son of Adam is and they answered Him saying some people say it is John the Immerser (Baptist), others say Elijah and others say Jeremiah.

Verse 15-16, Messiah asked the disciples, "Who do you say I am?" And Peter (Kepha) said, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim (Almighty God)."

Matthew 16:17-18, Yahusha Messiah says "Blessed are you, Peter, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father in the heavens (other words, man has not told you this but Heavenly Father Yahuah Himself), and I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I shall build My assembly, and the gates of hell (Sheol) shall not overcome it.

Matthew 7:24-25, is about the man that build his house on the rock (strong belief) and not on sand (weak belief) and the floods did nothing to the house that was built on rock.

Verse 24-25 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does them, shall be like a wise man who built his house on the rock, and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

What happens to those that hears the words of Messiah but ignores them?

“And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not do them, shall be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell, and great was its fall” – Matthew 7:26-27.

That is right, they are fools! If we hear but don’t do, if we do not obey, it is all in vain. John 3:36 say “He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him.”

We are declared right through belief in the Son, but the final proof of our belief is whether we subsequently obey Him – or not!

Rock meaning strong/firm foundation able to withstand bad weather, thus Messiah said to Peter, "on this rock I shall build My assembly" which means that Peter's faith was rock solid (strong belief), and I (Messiah) shall build My assembly on Peter's faith.

Assembly of people (true believers born from above) comes together to fellowship in the Word.

Remember our body is the temple and when many bodies (temples) come together, we assembly as a group of bodies (temples) to witness in the Word.

How strong is your faith, is it like a rock (strong) which will withstand the trials and storms or is it like sand (weak) which will crumble after the first trial/storm.

Your faith can be strong by trusting and truly believing Yahuah and His Son Yahusha and being obedience to the Torah (commandments).

Israel's Messiah

Let’s read scripture word for word and see if Yahusha Messiah (Jesus) could have been born on the 25th December!

Before I carry on, I would like the reader to do their own study on this sensitive topic as many of us grew up celebrating the birth of Messiah on the 25th December.

Luke 1:26, and in the 6th month the messenger (Angel) Gabriel was sent by Elohim to a city of Galil (Galilee) named Natsareth (Nazareth). The 6th month according to the Roman calendar would be June which we follow presently.

Luke 1:27-30, Gabriel the Angel came to Yoseph & Miryam (Joseph & Mary) greeted Mary and told her that Father blesses her.

Luke 1:31-34, and see, you shall conceive in your womb, and shall give birth to a Son, and call His Name Yahusha (Jesus). He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High...... And He shall reign over the house of Jacob (Israel) forever, and there shall be no end to His reign.

Luke 1:35, The Angel Gabriel said to Mary that the Set-Apart Spirit (Holy Spirit) shall come upon her, and the power of the Most High (Heavenly Father) shall overshadow her (Mary will be conceived by the Spirit).

Reading Luke 1:36 to 57, it is noted that after a few days (verse 39) Mary went to visit Elizabeth who was 6 months pregnant with John the Baptist.

Verse 41-44, says that Elizabeth was overjoyed with Mary's pregnancy.

If Mary conceived in June or maybe July, then 9 months later the Messiah was born in March or April according to the Roman calendar time.

The scripture does not make it clear that Mary became pregnant directly at the time of the Angels visit. She could have become pregnant a month later! So if she conceived in July (one month later after the appearance of the Angel in the 6th month) then Mary would give birth in April or earlier May.

The Hebrew calendar is different to the Roman calendar as the Hebrew year starts in April/May (Based on our Roman calendar). If the Angel came to Mary in the 6th month (mid to end of month) according to Hebrew calendar which would be end October or November (Roman time), the Messiah would have been born end August, beginning September.

Based on the Roman calendar calculation the Messiah could never have been born on the 25th of December or even close to December.

Does it really matter that we need to know His birth date?
Does the Bible say anything about celebrating His birthday?
Does it make any difference if we know what the reel date of His birth is?
Does the Bible command us to celebrate His birthday?

The answer to all above is “NO!”

Is not Passover much more important?  It is biblical and it involves the Messiah which renewed the covenant by dying and rising for us all.

What then is celebrated on the 25th December??? PS, my intension is not to hurt but to show the truth and I do this with love, please do not trust my words. Test them yourself.

Messiah spoke truth and many wanted to stone Him.

Proverbs of Torah

My son, do not forget my Torah (instructions), and let your heart watch over my commands; for length of days and long life and peace they add to you - Proverbs 3:1-2.

Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.....Proverbs 3:3.

Do not forsake my Torah - Proverbs 4:2.

For the commands is a lamp, and the Torah a light.....Proverbs 6:23.

Guard my commands and live, and my Torah as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart - Proverbs 7:2-3.

The Torah of the wise is a fountain of life, turning one away from the snares of death - Proverbs 13:14.

The Name of Yahuah is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe - Proverbs 18:10.

He who guards the commands guards his life.....Proverbs 19:16.

Those who forsake the Torah praise the wrong, those who guard the Torah strive with them. Evil men do not understand right-ruling, but those who seek Yahuah understand all - Proverbs 28:4-5.

Where there is no vision, the people are let loose, but blessed is he who guards the Torah - Proverbs 29:18.

Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, and what is His Son's Name, if you know it?

Every Word of Eloah (Almighty) is tried; He is a shield to those taking refuge in Him. Do not add to His Words, lest He reprove you, and you be found a liar - Proverbs 30:4-6.

His Name is Yahuah and His Son's Name is Yahusha (Jesus)! And His Torah is His commands (instructions for right living).

A Servant

Matthew 20:25-28, Messiah called them near and said, "You know that the rulers (leaders, presidents, kings) of the nations are masters over them (people), and those who are great exercise authority over them. "But it shall not be so among you (disciples), but whoever wishes to become great (leaders, presidents, pastors, priests) among you, let him be your servant. "And whoever wishes to be first among you, let him be your servant, even as the Son of Adam (Messiah) did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many."

Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Adam (Messiah) did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Isaiah 49:1-7, the prophet describes the Servant that will come in the future to bring back the tribes of Jacob (Israel). That servant is Yahusha Messiah (Jesus).

Isaiah 49:1-7 listen to Me, O coastlands, and hear, you peoples from afar! Yahuah has called Me from the womb, from My mother’s belly He has caused My Name to be remembered. And He made My mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of His hand He hid Me, and made Me a polished shaft. In His quiver He hid Me.” And He said to Me, ‘You are My servant, O Israel, in whom I am adorned.’ And I said, ‘I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for emptiness, and in vain. But my right-ruling is with Yahuah, and my work with my Elohim.’ ” And now said Yahuah – who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, to bring Jacob back to Him, though Israel is not gathered to Him, yet I am esteemed in the eyes of Yahuah, and My Elohim has been My strength – and He says, “Shall it be a small matter for You to be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to bring back the preserved ones of Israel? And I shall give You as a light to the gentiles, to be My deliverance to the ends of the earth!” Thus said Yahuah, the Redeemer of Israel, their Set-apart One, to the despised, to the loathed One of the nation, to the Servant of rulers, “Sovereigns shall see and arise, rulers also shall bow themselves, because of Yahuah who is steadfast, the Set-apart One of Israel. And He has chosen You!”

The Messiah to the servant to bring back the preserved ones of Israel and he the Messiah will be the light to the nations and deliverance to the ends of the earth! Messiah is the Redeemer of Israel, their Set-apart One, who will Serve them.

Like the Messiah is a servant so must we be servants as in Matthew 25:34-40 “Then the Sovereign shall say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the reign prepared for you from the foundation of the world – for I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me, I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, ‘Master, when did we see You hungry and we fed You, or thirsty and gave You to drink? ‘And when did we see You a stranger and took You in, or naked and clothed You? ‘And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and we came to You?’ “And the Sovereign shall answer and say to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.’.

One day, we would want to hear the following words from Messiah to each one of us; 'Well done, good and trustworthy servant - Matthew 25:21 & 23.

Are you a servant - servant of the Good News, servant to the poor/widows and a servant for the Kingdom of Heavenly Father?

Or do you want to be in the front line, the VIP or the leader of the pack. Messiah says the one that is last will be first in the Kingdom.
