What is the opposite of lawlessness (sin, rebellion), it is
righteous. Righteous means; decency, integrity, morality, honesty or purity.
"Then the righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the
reign of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! Matthew 13:43.
The righteousness of Elohim (Almighty) is through belief in
Yahusha Messiah to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference, for
all have sinned and fall short of the esteem of Elohim, being declared right,
without paying, by His favor (grace) through the redemption which is in Messiah
Yahusha, whom Elohim set forth as an atonement, through belief in His blood, to
demonstrate His righteousness, because in His tolerance Elohim had passed over
the sins that had taken place before, to demonstrate at the present time His
righteousness, that He is righteous and declares righteous the one who has
belief in Yahusha - Romans
3:22-26.
I speak as a man, because of the weakness of your flesh. For
even as you did present your members as servants of uncleanness, and of
lawlessness resulting in lawlessness, so now present your members as servants
of righteousness resulting in set-apartness (Holiness) - Romans 6:19.
Who Himself (Messiah) bore our sins in His body on the
timber (cross), so that we, having died to sins, might live unto righteousness
by whose stripes you were healed - 1 Peter 2:24.
Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin still live in
it? - Romans 6:2.
Because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from
sin, so that he no longer lives the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts
of men (world), but according to the desire of Elohim - 1 Peter 4:1-2.
Little children, let no one lead you astray. The one doing
righteousness is righteous, even as He (Messiah) is righteous. The one doing
sin is of the devil,....... 1
John 3:7-8.
If you know that He (Messiah) is righteous, you know that
everyone doing righteousness has been born of Him (Messiah) - 1 John 2:29.
All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not unto
death. We know that everyone having been born of Elohim does not sin,........ -
1 John 5:17-18.
The righteous shall inherit the earth, and dwell in it
forever. The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom,....... - Psalms 37:29-30.
Let the righteous flourish in His days, with plenty of
peace,..... Psalms 72:7.
Open to me the gates of righteousness; I enter through them,
I thank Yah. This is the gate of Yahuah (Heavenly Father), the righteous enter
through it - Psalms
118:20-21.
Yahuah opens the eyes of the blind, Yahuah raises those who
are bowed down, Yahuah loves the righteous - Psalms 146:8.
"Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous
and the wrong (sin), between one who serves Elohim and one who does not serve
Him - Malachi 3:18.
"He who does wrong (sin), let him do more wrong; he who
is filthy, let him be more filthy; he who is righteous, let him be more
righteous; he who is set-apart (holy), let him be more set-apart - Revelation 22:11.
Very clear in the above scripture verses that those who are
truly born again, must became and live righteously.
The next time someone tells you that nobody can be
righteous, then you can prove it to them by showing them the above verses.
Please take note very important: This righteous is not for
self or to inflict on someone else but it is a righteous to Yahuah/Yahusha
only. When you and I live righteously, it is for Yahuah our Creator only!
Righteousness
is he who follows the correct path, the path of Yahuah, the Most High.
“Righteousness is conformity to the
commands, mind and will of the Almighty Creator.”
Righteousness requires of us “to guard
to do all these commands before Yahuah Elohim, as He commanded us” - Deuteronomy 6:25.
Psalms
119:172, “For all Your commands are righteousness.”
In Isaiah 51:7, “Listen to Me, you who know
righteousness, you people in whose heart is My Torah* (commands).”
Many people do not understand this as
many times they would tell me that I am trying to be righteous. It is not a
religious righteous I am trying to be. But the scripture says this: it is
righteous to the Almighty not to man or myself.
This is what the Messiah is meaning
when He said our righteousness must exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees.
They the scribes and the rabbis read and study the Torah* and they know
everything about the Torah but they are not doing it for Him but for
themselves. They were trying to keep the commands their way, that they were
right or righteous. That is religious righteousness.
* Torah
(Commands) = Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy are the Torah
books.
Righteousness
is he who follows the path of Yahuah and His Son Yahusha (Jesus).
