A true believer will go through many tribulations
in this life within this world but this same believer going through these
tribulations is living the same life Messiah had went He was here on earth.
Although the believer is going through these bad times their will always be peace
within through Messiah.
John 16:33: “These things have I spoken to you
that in Me (Messiah) you might have peace. In the world you shall have
tribulation, but be of good cheer – I have overcome the world.”
Wonderful news!
I John 5:4: “And this is the overcoming that
overcomes the world – even our faith.”
Acts 14:22, the Apostle Sha’ul (Paul) said “It
is through much tribulation that we must enter the Kingdom of Elohim.”
We have to go through these tests, not only
to build our faith but also to test our faith.
Philippians 1:29, Sha’ul (Paul) also wrote:
“…it has been given to you as a favor (grace) on behalf of Messiah, not only to
believe in Him, but to suffer for His sake.”
Yahuah tests and disciplines us so that we
will learn to overcome and endure. But most is on obtaining a life of ease and
comfort. Thus, few are prepared for what is coming!
If we do not allow the Spirit of Yahuah to
discipline and test us, we are not His children.
Read Hebrews 12:5-14 it is all
about Abba Father testing and disciplining His children. And you have forgotten the appeal which speaks to you as to sons, “My
son, do not despise the discipline of Yahuah, nor faint when you are reproved
by Him, for whom Yahuah loves, He disciplines, and flogs every son whom He
receives.” If you endure discipline, Elohim is treating you as sons. For what
son is there whom a father does not discipline? But if you are without
discipline, of which all have become sharers, then you are illegitimate and not
sons. Moreover, we indeed had fathers of our flesh disciplining us, and we paid
them respect. Shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and
live? For they indeed disciplined us for a few days as seemed best to them, but
He does it for our profit, so that we might share His apartness. And indeed, no
discipline seems pleasant at the time, but grievous, but afterward it yields
the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. So,
strengthen the hands which hang down and the weak knees, and make straight
paths for your feet, lest the lame be turned aside, but instead, to be healed.
Pursue peace with all, and pursue apartness without which no one shall see
the Master.
This is the
purpose of Him disciplining us, “flogging” us: to set us apart, so that we bear
the fruit of righteousness. He did the same to Israel – see Deuteronomy 8:2 “And you
shall remember that Yahuah your Elohim led you all the way these forty years in
the wilderness, to humble you, prove you, to know what is in your heart,
whether you guard His commands or not.
If we do not
allow Yahusha (Jesus) in us to bring us to set-apartness, so that we bear the
fruit of righteousness, it would prove to have been all in vain – we shall not
see Him!
If we are not tested and disciplined, we
may not make it through the tribulation.
