Proverbs of pride and humbleness














Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in the power of your hand to do so - Proverbs 3:27.

Yahuah certainly scoffs the scoffers, but gives favour (grace) to the humble - Proverbs 3:34.

Go, humble yourself, and urge your friend - Proverbs 6:3.

"The fear of Yahuah is to hate evil. I have hated pride and arrogance, and the evil way, and the perverse mouth - Proverbs 8:13.

Pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom - Proverbs 11:2.



















By pride comes only strife, but wisdom is with those who take advise - Proverbs 13:10.

In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride...... Proverbs 14:3.

Yahuah tears down the house of the proud...... Proverbs 15:25.

Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to Yahuah; hand to hand: he goes not unpunished - Proverbs 16:5.

Before destruction comes pride, and before a fall a haughty spirit! Better to be lowly in spirit with the poor, than to divide the spoil with the proud - Proverbs 16:18-19.

A haughty look, a proud heart, the lamp of the wrong, are sin - Proverbs 21:4.

Proud, haughty, "Scoffer" is his name; he acts with arrogant pride - Proverbs 21:24.

The pride of man brings him low, but the humble in spirit obtains esteem - Proverbs 29:23.
