Proverbs of Fools










Fools hate knowledge? - Proverbs 1:22.

Who are the fools scripture is referring too?

"Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of Yahuah - Proverbs 1:29.

Those who do not want to know Yahuah, are fools! The wise treasure up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool (a silly person) is near ruin - Proverbs 10:14.

Fools die for lack of heart - Proverbs 10:21.














To work out wicked schemes is like sport to a fool - Proverbs 10:23.

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who listens to advise is wise - Proverbs 12:15.

Every one with insight acts with knowledge, but a fool spreads folly (a foolish idea) - Proverbs 13:16.

He who walks with the wise, shall be wise, but the companion of fools suffers evil - Proverbs 13:20.

In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride.... Proverbs 14:3.

The wisdom of the clever is to understand His (Yahuah) way, but the folly (foolish) of fools is deceit - Proverbs 14:8.

Fools scoff (mock) at quilt - Proverbs 14:9. The wise fears and turns away from evil, but a fool rushes on and is reckless - Proverbs 14:16.

The tongue of the wise makes knowledge good, but the mouth of fools pours out foolishness - Proverbs 15:2.

The lips of the wise scatter knowledge, but the heart of fools is not so – Proverbs 15:7.















The heart of the understanding one seeks knowledge, but the mouth of fools feeds on folly (foolish ideas) -Proverbs 15:14.

Excellent speech is not fitting for a fool, much less lying lips for a noble - Proverbs 17:7.

Why is this - a price in the hand of a fool to buy wisdom, when there is no heart? - Proverbs 17:16.

A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her who bore him – Proverbs 17:25.

A fool does not delight in understanding, but in uncovering his own heart - Proverbs 18:2.

A fool's lips enter into strife (conflict), and his mouth calls for blows. A fool's mouth is his ruin, and his lips are the snare (trap) of his life - Proverbs 18:6-7.

He who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly (foolish practice) and shame to him - Proverbs 18:13.

The foolishness of a man perverts (distorts) his way, and his heart is wroth against Yahuah – Proverbs 19:3.

A foolish son is a calamity (distress) to his father - Proverbs 19:13.

Do not speak in the ears of a fool, for he treads on the wisdom of your words - Proverbs 23:9.

Wisdom is high for a fool...-Proverbs 24:7.

The purpose of folly (a foolish practice) is sin.... Proverbs 24:9.

A whip for a horse, a bridle for a donkey, and a rod for the fool's back. Do not answer a fool according to his folly (foolish idea), lest you also become like him. Answer a fool according to his folly (foolish idea), lest he become wise in his own eyes - Proverbs 26:3-5.

He who sends a message by the hand of a fool cuts off feet, drinks damage. The legs of the lame hang limp so is a proverb in the mouth of fools. Like one binding a stone in a sling, so is he who gives esteem (respect) to a fool. A thorn goes into the hand of a drunkard so is a proverb in the mouth of fools - Proverbs 26:6-9.

As a dog returns to his own vomit, so a fool repeats his folly (foolish practice) - Proverbs 26:11.













Even if you pound a fool in a mortar with a pestle (tool) along with crushed grain, his folly (foolish practice) shall not leave him - Proverbs 27:22.

He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but he who walks wisely is delivered - Proverbs 28:26.

A fool lets out all his breath, but the wise keeping it back calms it down - Proverbs 29:11.

Have you seen a man hasty in his words? There is more expectancy for a fool than for him - Proverbs 29:20.

If you have been foolish in lifting up yourself, or if you have plotted evil, put your hand on your mouth - Proverbs 30:32.
