Proverbs on the heart(soul) and on patient


















Trust in Yahuah with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; know Him in all your ways, and He makes all your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear Yahuah and turn away from evil - Proverbs 3:5-7.

Guard my commands and live, and my Torah (instructions) as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart - Proverbs 7:2-3.














A healthy heart is life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the bones - Proverbs 14:30.

Sheol (hell) and destruction are before Yahuah, how much more the hearts of the sons of men - Proverbs 15:11.

A glad heart makes good a face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is stricken - Proverbs 15:13.

To man belongs the preparations of the heart, but from Yahuah is the answer of the tongue - Proverbs 16:1.

A man's heart plans his way, but Yahuah establishes his steps - Proverbs 16:9.

The heart of the wise gives discretion to his mouth, and he increases learning to his lips - Proverbs 16:23.

A refining pot is for silver and a furnace for gold, but Yahuah tries (tests) the hearts - Proverbs 17:3.

He who has a crooked heart finds no good, and he who has a perverse (unacceptable) tongue falls into evil - Proverbs 17:20.
















A rejoicing heart causes good healing, ....... Proverbs 17:22.

The words of a slanderer (false statement) are like delicacies, and they go down into the inner parts of the heart - Proverbs 18:8.

He who gets heart loves his own life.... Proverbs 19:8.

Counsel (advise) in the heart of man is like deep water, but a man of understanding draws it up - Proverbs 20:5.

The sovereign's heart is a channels of water in the hand of Yahuah; He turns it wherever He wishes. All a man's ways are right in his own eyes, but Yahuah weighs the heart - Proverbs 21:1-2.

He who loves cleanness of heart, whose speech is pleasant, a sovereign is his friend - Proverbs 22:11.

My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes watch my ways - Proverbs 23:26.












If you say, "See, we did not know this," would not He who weighs the hearts discern it? - Proverbs 24:12.

Burning lips with an evil heart are like earthenware covered with silver dross - Proverbs 26:23.

As in water face reflects face, so a man's heart reflects a man - Proverbs 27:19.

Patient

He who is impatient acts foolishly, and a man who plans wickedness is hated - Proverbs 14:17.

He who is patient has great understanding, but he who is short of spirit exalts folly - Proverbs 14:29.

A man of wrath stirs up strife, but he who is patient appeases strife - Proverbs 15:18.

He who is patient is better than the mighty, and he who rules over his spirit than he who takes a city - Proverbs 16:32.

A man's discretion makes him patient, and his adorning is to pass over a transgression - Proverbs 19:11.

Through patience a ruler is persuaded, and a soft tongue shatters a bone - Proverbs 25:15.
