The Living Water

John 4:10-15, Yahusha answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of Elohim, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me to drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” The woman said to Him, “Master, You have no vessel, and the well is deep. From where, then, do You have living water? “Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, and his sons, and his cattle?” Yahusha answered and said to her, “Everyone drinking of this water shall thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water I give him shall certainly never thirst. And the water that I give him shall become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” The woman said to Him, “Master, give me this water, so that I do not thirst, nor come here to draw.”

We will always be thirsty when we drink the water that the world gives us but the water that Yahusha (Jesus) gives is life and lasts forever. This life is forever and you would never thirst again. Yahusha says that when you stay in Him and you do not stray away, this living water will become a fountain of water, growing up in you and giving everlasting life.

You will bear fruit, the good fruit!

Jeremiah 2:12-13, “Be amazed, O heavens, at this, and be frightened, be utterly dried up,” declares Yahuah. “For My people have done two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew out for themselves cisterns, cracked cisterns, which do not hold water.

98% of so-called believers are like cracked cisterns who leak water; they go to church to feel good but then afterwards go away and entertain themselves with the world and its sins. The cistern is filled with water (feel good gospel) which does not take long for the water to run out dry from the cistern because of the cracks (the words of Yahusha disappearing). This is like worshipping Yahuah with your lips (no action just talk) and not with your heart (action by love).

Jeremiah 17:13-14, O Yahuah, the expectation of Israel, all who forsake You are put to shame. “Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Yahuah, the fountain of living waters.” Heal me, O Yahuah, so that I am healed. Save me, so that I am saved, for You are my praise.

Those who know the truth (accepted Yahusha and His Word - repented) but later on turned away from His truth (rejected Him and turned back to sin) shall not see His kingdom.

Repent (turn away from wrong) and be saved.

Zechariah 14:7-9, and it shall be one day which is known to Yahuah, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light. And in that day, it shall be that living waters flow from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea, in summer as well as in winter. And Yahuah shall be Sovereign over all the earth. In that day there shall be one Yahuah, and His Name one.

What a powerful promise! In that day (meaning at the end of this age when He will return) His living waters that takes away the thirst forever will come and be the Master of the Universe and no longer shall there be any other false gods with false names but only the one and only Almighty Yahuah.

Revelation 22:1-3, and he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And no longer shall there be any curse, and the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.

Another promise to look forward too! The living water is the river of life and the tree of life! In that day (the new kingdom) there shall no longer be sadness and curses.

Revelation 11:15, and the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

Cannot wait for this time to come, can you? The new kingdom will be established by Yahusha Messiah and He will be the King forever.

John 7:37-39, and on the last day, the great day of the festival, Yahusha stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me, and let him who believes in Me drink. “As the Scripture said, out of His innermost shall flow rivers of living water.” And this He said concerning the Spirit, which those believing in Him were about to receive, for the Set-apart Spirit was not yet given, because Yahusha was not yet esteemed.

The “Great Day or 8th Day” is the last feast of Yahuah (Leviticus 23:36) and in the near future on this day the new kingdom of Yahuah will be established by Yahusha. Are you thirsty (spiritually dead, lost or heartbroken), then repent (turn away from sin / clean yourself of the old way), believe on Yahusha and He will give you the living water (truth, everlasting life)?

Isaiah 44:3-4, ‘For I pour water on the thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I pour My Spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring, and they shall spring up among the grass like willows by streams of water.’

The Spirit of Yahuah (Holy Spirit) is poured out to those who belief, repent and go through water.

Psalm 36:8-9, they are filled from the fatness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.

Once you receive the living water (fountain of life) you grow day after day into His light.

Proverbs 14:27, the fear of Yahuah is a fountain of life, to turn away from the snares of death.

He is everlasting life, the fountain of life, where death is no more.

John 6:63 “It is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh does not profit at all. The words that I speak to you are Spirit and are life.

Very clear that no one can make it to the kingdom of Yahuah without the set-apart Spirit (Holy Spirit). If you are following and worshipping the Creator by means of flesh (the world entertainment religious standard) then you will not profit (make it) to the kingdom of Yahuah. You need to worship the Creator in Spirit and in truth.

1 Corinthians 10:1-4, for I do not wish you to be ignorant, brothers, that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were immersed into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed, and the Rock was Messiah.

Very powerful words from Paul! The Rock (Yahusha Messiah (Jesus)) was from the beginning and even was with Moses and the children of Israel, leading them out of Egypt.

Revelation 7:16-17, “They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither shall the sun strike them, nor any heat, because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shall shepherd them and lead them to fountains of waters of life. And Elohim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

O’ how I long for this day to come quickly! The Lamb (The Rock) will shepherd (lead) us out of this wickedness. This time we will thirst no more!

Revelation 21:6-8, and He said to me, “It is done! I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment. “The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his Elohim and he shall be My son. “But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”

For the overcomers (who endure till the end) will receive all the promises made by Yahuah and we will partake in the wedding feast of Yahusha. For the wicked, it will be the lake of fire.

Revelation 22:17, and the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And he who hears, let him say, “Come!” And he who thirsts, come! And he who desires it, take the water of life without paying!

Do you desire forever life, the living water, then “Come?” Are you hearing and then doing it! Put your hearing into action and come to Him who saves!

Seek Me

Messiah feed about 5000 people with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread - John 6:5-12. Messiah Yahusha then left that side and went across the lake to the other side by a place called Capernaum (Kephar Nahum) - John 6:16-21.

The crowed was looking for Yahusha (Jesus) on the side where He gave them the fish and bread but when they realized, He was no longer there but went across the lake to the other side they too entered boats to cross to other side looking for the Messiah - John 6:22-24.

When they found Him, they asked Him, "Rabbi, when did You come here?" - John 6:25.

John 6:26, Yahusha answered them and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were satisfied.

The miracles which Yahusha performed were proof that he came from Yahuah.

To seek Him because they had seen the miracles, and were convinced by them that he was the Messiah, would have been proper; but to follow him simply because their wants were supplied was mere selfishness of a gross kind.

Many seek religion from no better motive than this. They suppose that it will add to their earthly happiness, or they seek only to escape from suffering or from the convictions of conscience, or they seek for heaven only as a place of enjoyment, and regard religion as valuable only for this. All this is mere selfishness.

When Yahusha fed the five thousand with five barley loaves and two small fish, the people apparently saw Him as a free lunch ticket. He could multiply the food from five loaves to feed five thousand hungry souls (Matthew 14:20) and still have twelve baskets of leftovers!

Why here was a meal ticket they could follow around every day. When Yahusha saw that the “free lunch crowd” wanted to make Him their ruler that day, He fled up a mountain.

We are aiming at the loaves and fishes, and not at the honour of Yahuah and the good of his kingdom; and if this is the only or the main motive of been part of a group (fellowship) or to appear to be believers, we cannot be called true believers.

How do we seek Him?

Messiah says further in John 6:27, “Do not labour for the food that is perishing, but for the food that is remaining to everlasting life, which the Son of Adam (Messiah) shall give you, for the Father, Elohim, has set His seal on Him.”

To know Him

If we want to know Yahuah, we will need to have a relationship with Him.

But how do we do this?

1 John 2:3 tells us; And by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.

We must think like Yahuah. To think like Yahuah, we must have the "mind of Yahuah." To have His mind, we must have the Set-apart Spirit (Holy Spirit) of Yahuah indwelling in us. The Set-apart Spirit is Yah's heart/mind and character that teaches us.

To think as one with Yahuah is to be intimate with Yahuah. Once we have attained the ability to think like “Yah,” we come to understand why we are spiritually motivated to keep Yah’s commandments (Torah).

Why? Because they can now be viewed as our Commandments also. How could we not want to keep them?  They are not heavy (1 John 5:3).

The scripture is the perfect spiritually inspired "Mind of Yahuah" and it does not change.

There is no spiritual difference between the Commandments (Torah) of Yahuah given through Moses and the prophets or the Commandments, given through Messiah Yahusha and His apostles.

The fleshly (worldly-minded) man/woman misunderstands Yah's Commandments because they are under the spirit of error. The fleshly man/woman cannot understand the Spirit of Yah or those with the belief of Yahusha (Jesus).

They see everything from a physical perspective. Worldly minded men will seek either “free salvation,” a get-out-of-jail-free card, the lie of once saved always saved, or “earned salvation,” by works of the letter of the Commands and not out of love, which is the Spirit of the Word.

It was and will always be a heart thing!

Yahusha is the Living/Breathing Torah/Word.

The Belief of Yahusha is to walk as Yahusha walked. To know or be known by Yahuah means that you have an intimate relationship with the Creator in truth.

Then you become an extension of Yahuah. Being of Yahuah and walking in the Belief/Faith of Yahusha is how you have intimacy with Yahuah.

You will think and have the logic of Yahuah. You will have Yahuah's heart, which is pure love. You will behave, act and carry yourself by the standards of Yahuah's Word.

Born from above

A Pharisee named Nicodemus who was a ruler of the Jews came to Yahusha Messiah (Jesus) saying, he knew that Messiah was from Elohim (Almighty) -John 3:2.

Messiah answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born from above, he is unable to see the kingdom of Elohim" - John 3:3.

Very strong words from Messiah! You will not see Yahuah's kingdom unless you are born from above!

Nicodemus was surprised to hear this answer and asked the Messiah how can an old person be born again! Must he re-enter his mother's womb for a second time - verse 4.

Messiah tells him further, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he is unable to enter into the kingdom of Elohim - verse 5.

"That which has been born of the flesh is flesh (worldly, material goods, items, Hollywood entertainment), and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit (received the Holy Spirit, hear Yahuah's voice, guided by the Spirit) - verse 6.

Do you know if you have received the Spirit of Yahuah? Messiah tells us in verse 8, "The wind (Holy Spirit) blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it (Spirit), but do not know where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who has been born of the Spirit (from above)."

When you receive the Sprit from Yahuah, you do not become this super person, or fall on ground shaking, or start dancing around, or speaking/singing allowed.

Messiah tells us the Spirit is like the wind, you hear the Spirit speaking to you with that small soft voice.

You will not hear that voice if you are busy with the worldly entertainment and satan knows this! That is the reason why TV, movies, music and all other types of entertainment is around. It is so you cannot hear the Spirit speaking, or you hear that voice but ignore it because you are uncertain.

Very confused, Nicodemus asks the Messiah, "How is it possible for this to take place?"- verse 9. The answer Messiah gives is right in front of us but we do not see it!

What Messiah says, has always been from the beginning.

Unless you are born of water (baptizing) and the Spirit (Holy Spirit), you will not enter the Kingdom of Yahuah.

Nicodemus could not understand what the Messiah was saying. Now remember Nicodemus was a learnt man of the Jews, meaning he knew the word of Yahuah, and studied and taught people about Yahuah.

Messiah says to Nicodemus, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know this?

Do you get what Messiah is saying? Remember the New Testament did not exist at the time Messiah walked on the earth!

So, He is asking this man how came he does not understand this born from the Spirit! Was it not because this was always a requirement which never has changed! David for one knew this, but how come Nicodemus did not know this!

The Christian church believe the Spirit has only been given to them when Messiah ascended to heaven but is this true!

Messiah said He must go back to His Father before the Spirit can be given. To be part of Yahuah, you need to have His Spirit!

When David sinned, he fell on his knees and begged Yahuah not to take His Spirit away from him! Why, because he knew that without Yahuah's Spirit, he would be lost (Psalm 51:11).

Messiah further says to Nicodemus, "Truly, truly, I say to you, We speak what We know and witness what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness - John 3:11.

If you do not have the set-apart Spirit, you will also not see the spiritual things. Without His Spirit, you will not overcome the world (flesh) or witness to the world! Without His Spirit you will read the scriptures and not understand a thing you read.

You cannot do anything without His Spirit. You can play religion but it will not be of Yahuah.

Please study John chapter 3 to understand the seriousness of having the Spirit of Yahuah! You need to go through water and to receive the set-apart Spirit (Holy Spirit) to be part of the Kingdom!
