Woe of Isaiah 5

 

What is the meaning of Woe? Woe means great sorrow, distress, regret, misery or heartache.

It is almost like "Oh no!"

Woe is a warning of judgment to those who are partaking in wickedness. Woe is used six times in Isaiah 5 and all six times Yahuah expresses heartache.

 

Woe 1: to those who seek to possess many or large houses and purchase farm after farm until they have very huge land and displace other people (want all for themselves much may include possessions/want status and be in high positions) - verse 8.

Woe 2: to those who become intoxicated (wine/strong alcohol/drugs/demons/witchcraft/porn) at early hour of the morning and then carry on till late night including wild parties and music - verse 11-12. 

Woe 3: to those who increase in sin, evil, falsehood or deceit and just keep on growing with sin, provoking Yahuah to anger (who mock Him and His creation) - verse 18.

Woe 4: to those who say evil is good and good is evil who put falsehood, crime, error above truth, piety and knowledge = right from wrong (abortion, gender change,child sex trafficking, etc is called good) - verse 20.

Woe 5: to those who see themselves better, wiser, smarter than others. Which lead to pride and unwilling to listen to others (knows all, cannot forgive, harden heart) - verse 21.

Woe 6: to those who become mighty when intoxicated and then boast of their power, richness and influence. They turn to bribes for wrong and change or influence what is right to wrong - verse 22-23.

Do you not see the same “Woe” in the times we living in.

Can you see why judgment is coming.

 

We are doing exactly what the people did in Isaiah's time.

Trust you and I are not part of these wrong doings.

If you are, repent and turn back to Yahuah, and be righteous.

Search my heart O Yah! I do not want to be part of the “woe!”

As believers in Yahusha (Jesus) we do not have time to play around. Stay in His path as those who endure to the end shall be saved.
