Messiah coming the second time – Isaiah 11

Isaiah 11:1 speaks of the coming of Messiah as well as Jeremiah 23:5 and Jeremiah 33:15 but it speaks about "in those days."

In those days means it is at the end of times.

Jeremiah 23;5 “See, the days are coming,” declares Yahuah, “when I shall raise for David a Branch of righteousness, and a Sovereign shall reign and act wisely, and shall do right-ruling and righteousness in the earth.

Jeremiah 22:15 ‘In those days and at that time I cause a Branch of righteousness to spring forth for David. And He shall do right-ruling and righteousness in the earth.

Isaiah chapter 11 is about the second coming of Messiah when He shall judge all people of the world, be it poor, rich, good or wicked - Isaiah 11:3-5.

In Isaiah 11:2-3 Yahuah gives Yahusha (Jesus) all His Spirit gifts. He shall not judge of things by their external appearance or with partiality but by truth. He shall see that impartial justice is done; He shall not take part with the rich against the poor, but shall show that He is the friend of true justice.

The next few verses talk about a period when a wolf will dwell with lamb. When a leopard lies next to young goat. When calf and a lion walk together with a young child. When a cow and a bear feed together. When lions eat grass like an ox. When a baby child plays at the cobra's hole and put his hand in the adder's den - Isaiah 11:6-10.

This has not yet been filled. It is a prophecy of the redemption of the remnant of His people in the end-time, of which every prophetic book speaks, repeatedly.

In verse 11 it says "in that day," meaning at the end of time Yahuah will set His hand a second time to recover the remnant of believers (Israel) from the enemy.

This can only mean the second coming of Messiah when He will bring the true believers back together from the four corners of the world - verse 12.

All the enemies (satan and his system) will be destroyed by His mighty hand - verse 14-15.

All obstacles shall be removed for the remnant believers to return to the promised covenant of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

May that day come soon.

The sign of the promise Messiah

Isaiah 9:6 for unto us a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful Counselor (great honorable), The Mighty El (Strong King/Hero), Father of Continuity (everlasting Father),The Prince of Peace (Peaceful King).

John 1:1-2 in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. He was in the beginning with Elohim.

John 1:14 and the Word became flesh and pitched His tent(Tabernacle) among us,...

Romans 9:5 whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Messiah according to the flesh, who is over all, Elohim-blessed forever.

1 Timothy 3:16 and, beyond all question, the secret of reverence is great – who was revealed in the flesh, declared right in Spirit, was seen by messengers, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in esteem.

Read these verses together and you will get a good picture who the Messiah is!

This prophesy was given to Israel (nation of David) and all nations of the world will know Him.

Isaiah 9:7 says the Messiah's rule and peace be established and be sustained with justice and righteousness from now until forever.

Yahuah says so!

Isaiah 16:5 His throne will be established in truth, judging and seeking justice and righteousness.

Psalm 2 is all about the Messiah.

Micah 4:2 the Ruler (Messiah) will come to Israel and will be an everlasting kingdom.

Luke confirms this in 1:32-33“He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High. And Yahuah Elohim shall give Him the throne of His father David.“And He shall reign over the house of Jacob (Israel) forever, and there shall be no end to His kingdom.”

Isaiah knew that someday Israel will need the Messiah to save them.

It is mentioned in many parts of the Old Testament of the Messiah who comes and saves His people.

To find Messiah's Name in the Old Testament read Zechariah Chapter 6 and verse 11-12.

These are all the signs of the Messiah.

Immanuel

Shall call His Name Immanuel - Isaiah 7:14.

Immanuel means "Elohim with us or Yah with us or as in KJV - God with us."

Who is "Immanuel?"

“See, a maiden shall conceive, and she shall give birth to a Son, and they shall call His Name Immanuel,” which translated, means, “El with us” -Matthew 1:23.

“Hear now, O house of David (Israel)!" “Therefore, Yahuah Himself gives you a sign: Look (Behold), the maiden conceives and gives birth to a Son, and shall call His Name Immanuel - Isaiah 7:13-14.

Many say this is the Messiah's Name, but is it? If so, then how come in Matthew 1:21 another Name is mentioned: “And she shall give birth to a Son, and you shall call His Name Yahusha for He shall save His people from their sins.”

Immanuel is not Messiah's Name but is a reference to how Yahuah will be with His people.

This is how I understand this and I pray Yahuah gives me more understanding of these verses in Isaiah and Matthew.

What made me search further into this matter is the two verses in Matthew chapter 1 (verse 21 & 23) giving Messiah two different Names.

Isaiah prophesied about two events in Isaiah 7 & 8 which was an event that would happen at the time of the invasion of Israel.

Someone named Immanuel would be born that will bear witness of Yahuah's protection and the nation will not be destroyed completely, and therefore his name will mean Elohim is with us.

The other event is a much later event which also shows that Elohim will be with us (Immanuel) by sending Messiah to save His people (Matthew chapter 1).

Why did Matthew say His Name is Immanuel in verse 23: Matthew was referring to Isaiah's prophesy that Yahuah promised to be with us (Immanuel) and he used the exact same verse from Isaiah 7:14.

I believe Matthew 1:21 is His proper Name.

Woe to the oppressors

Woe to those who make unrighteous (false / vanity / wicked / unjust) decrees (command / rules / laws) and write grievous instructions - Isaiah 10:1.

The prophet is talking about leaders, judges, priests or governments who are crooked.

In Isaiah 10:2 he is saying the leaders are oppressing the citizens, the poor, the widows and the orphans.

Looking at today, what are the leaders of countries doing to their people?

No different than in Isaiah's time: the governments today have high taxes, corruption (enriching themselves), high food prices, and so on....

People all over the world are been oppressed more and more by the leaders of nations instead of them been leaders to guide and protect the people, they are looking after themselves only.

But here is the warning to the people in the leader’s role.

Enjoy while it lasts because the fall/judgment/punishment will come.

Isaiah 10:3-4 Yahuah declares the judgment, or punishment, that would follow the crimes of the leaders when He will intervene.

Destruction will come to them that oppress the people.

Then what will it help that you (leaders) have enriched yourselves.

Pray the leaders of today repent because the leaders in Isaiah's time did not and years later destruction came to them.

Are we heading the same path or will they hear!

Isaiah 10:1-4“Woe to those making unrighteous laws, and writers who have prescribed toil,to keep the needy back from right ruling, and to take what is right from the poor of My people, that widows become their prey, and orphans their plunder.“What shall you do in the day of visitation, and in the ruin which comes from afar? To whom would you run for help? And where would you leave your wealth?“Without Me they shall bow down among the prisoners, and fall among the slain.” With all this His displeasure has not turned back, and His hand is still stretched out.
