“Woe to the stubborn
children, ”declares Yahuah, “who take advise, but not from Me, and to devise
plans, but not of My Spirit, in order to add sin to sin (wrong doing); who are
setting out to go down to Egypt, and have not asked My mouth (prayed for His
guide), to be strengthened in the strength of Pharaoh, and to seek trust in the
shadow of Egypt! “And the strength of Pharaoh shall become your shame, and the trust
in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. (Isaiah 30:1-3).
Egypt and Pharaoh represent
other worldly sources and governments. A warning to believers seeking
analliance with the world system for security instead of seeking Yahuah.
Even Egypt, whose help
is vain and empty. Therefore, I have called her Rahab-Hem-Shebeth (strength or
proud (Egypt) is to sit still = therefore, meaning ‘they are courageous in
talking but cowards in acting’).
And go, write it
before them on a tablet, and in scribe it on a scroll, that it is for a latter
day (end times), a witness forever: that this is a rebellious people, lying children,
children who refuse to hear the Torah of Yahuah, who say to the seers, “Do not
see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us what is right. Speak to us
what is smooth (feel good things), prophesy of delusions. “Turn aside from the
way, get away from the path, cause the Set-apart One of Israel to cease from
before us.”Therefore thus said the Set-apart One of Israel, “Because you
despise this word, and trust in oppression and perversity, and rely on them, therefore
this crookedness is to you like a broken section ready to fall, a swelling out
in a highwall, whose breaking comes suddenly at an instant.” (Isaiah 30:7-13).
This is all because
people don’t have the Torah in their soul (heart).
For thus said the
Master Yahuah, the Set-apart One of Israel, “In returning and rest you are
saved, in stillness and trust is your strength.” But you would not. (Isaiah 30:15).
Don’t be part of the stubborn people who rely on the worldly system but turn to Yahuah for your guidance and rest.
