Psalm 68:4– Yah

Do you see what I see when reading the following bible translations: Scriptures, KJV, 1611 KJV, RV, ASV, Geneva and the Tanach (Jewish).

Psalm 68:4 Sing to Elohim, sing praises to His Name. Raise up a highway for Him Who rides through the deserts, by His Name Yah, and exult before Him. (Scriptures)

Psalm 68:4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. (KJV)

Psalm 68:4 Sing vnto God, sing praises to his Name: extoll him that rideth vpon the heauens, by his Name Iah, and reioyce before him. (1611 KJV)

Psalm 68:4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: cast up a highway for him that rideth through the deserts; his name is JAH; and exult ye before him. (Revised version)

Psalm 68:4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: Cast up a highway for him that rideth through the deserts; His name is Jehovah; and exult ye before him. (American standard version)

Psalm 68:4 Sing vnto God, and sing prayses vnto his name: exalt him that rideth vpon the heauens, in his Name Iah, and reioyce before him. (Geneva)

Psalm 68:4 Sing to God, make music to His Name: extol He Who rides upon the highest heavens, with His Name Yah, and exult before Him (Jewish Tanach (The stone edition))

Did you notice it?

I see the Almighty’s Name written in short – Yah. Other translations mention Jah, Iah and Jehovah.

The newer translations (ESV, ISV, NIV) replaced His Name with another name.

Psalm 68:4 Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is the LORD; exult before him! (English standard version)

Psalm 68:4 Sing to God! Sing praise to his name! Exalt the one who rides on the clouds. The LORD is his name. Be jubilant in his presence. (International standard version)

Does it make any sense when you read this part of the verse found in the ESV, ISV or NIV; his name is the LORD (ESV+NIV)/ The LORD is his name (ISV).

What does Lord mean and is Lord His Name?

The question you should ask yourself, why in most translations of Psalm 68:4 is His Name “Yah” been mentioned. Did the English bible translators’ miss this one verse when they replaced His Name with Lord in the rest of the bible.

Take a moment and think about it! What is going on here?

Are you hungry for truth or are you one of the majorities that will say “whatever?”

You make your own decision.

The Almighty knocked at my door and I let Him in through His Ruach and never again to turn back to my old ways.

Make music to His Name. Are you making music to His Name or are you making music to another name because YAH and LORD is not the same name or having the same meaning?

Mark on foreheads

Ezekiel still in a vision when Yah calls in a loud voice, “Let the punishers to come closer, with each one having their weapons ready.” (Ezekiel 9:1-2)

The prophet is shown through a vision the destruction coming to Israel due to the abominations occurring in the temple. The destruction is to be done by 6 men and 1 clothed in linen having an ink-horn (pen) to write with = 7 men. Judgment is been shown to the prophet.

Yah instructed the one clothed in linen with the ink-horn to go and mark all the ones who are not sinning (not committing the abominations) on their foreheads. But to the wicked (sinners) judgment comes without exception first to the leaders then to the people except for those who are marked. Judgment starts at the temple to the elders in the temple. (Ezekiel 9:3-6).

This is similar to what John saw in his vision in Revelation 7:3, Revelation 9:4, Revelation 14:1 and Revelation 22:4 regarding those having the seal of Yah on their foreheads.

Revelation 14:1 And I looked and saw a Lamb standing on Mount Tsiyon, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s Name written upon their foreheads.

Revelation 22:4 And they shall see His face, and His Name shall be upon their foreheads.

The ones who are protected during this time of great distress are those who have come out of the corrupted worldly system and pray for the suffering that is happening in the world at this time. To those whose temple is not defiled, who have Yahuah/Yahusha on their foreheads.

1 Peter 4:17 judgment starts at the sanctuary(temple) of Yahuah for they had more accountability for knowing the truth Luke 12:48. This is a total contrast to those loving the wicked end time global system set up by Satan and taking the mark of the beast -Revelation 13:8 and Revelation13:16-17.

And He said to them, “Defile the House, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!” And they went out and smote in the city. (Ezekiel 9:7)

Defile the house, means to me, Yah has left the worldly temple and He now abides in the body of man (woman).

The next verses are very scary when read and should be a wake-up call for all of us. Because of all the wickedness, bloodshed and perversity within Israel and Judah, Yah had no other choice but to bring judgment on them. The prophet even pleads with Yah not to destroy everyone. (Ezekiel 9:8-9)

This same judgment will come upon us in the very near future as we see the same wickedness, bloodshed and perversity occurring today.

Yah says, “I will not save or forgive, but I shall recompense their deeds on their own head.” (Ezekiel 9:10)

When judgment starts by Yah, there is no more turning back. For those who believe but still live-in sin (mix truth with false or worship two gods or who are lukewarm) take note as our Creator is the same yesterday, today and will be the same tomorrow, He does not change.

And see, the man clothed with linen, who had the ink-horn at his side, reported back and said, “I have done as You commanded me.” (Ezekiel 9:11)

Ezekiel saw this in a vision! The question is; did this happened before or is this still coming upon us. Maybe this has happened and will happen again. Either way the warning is been given to us who has ears to hear and eyes to see.

Abominations in the temple

Ezekiel the prophet was lifted up in spirit by means of visions through Yah to the temple in Jerusalem. (Ezekiel 8:1-3). The description of what Ezekiel saw was also noted by Daniel and John in Daniel 10:5-6 and Revelation 1:12-15.

Ezekiel was taken to the inner gate facing north of the temple and the prophet was shown a seat of the image of jealousy that was at the north gate of the altar. (Ezekiel 8:4-5)

First abomination: Image of jealousy

No one can say what this image really was but some say it was an image of baal or astarte and some say it was an image of tammuz/adonis. This worship of the image of jealousy provoked Yah to jealousy, to destroy these wicked people.

And He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations which the house of Yisra’el are doing here, driving Me away from My set-apart place? (Ezekiel 8:6)

Yah is telling Ezekiel, the abominations of Israel are making Him to leave the temple.

Next, Ezekiel was taken to the door where he saw a hole which was dug into and led to a door (Ezekiel 8:7-8)

Second abomination: creeping creatures and beasts.

All these creatures and beasts were carved in the temple wall. (Ezekiel 8:10). Egyptian idolatry: The Egyptian worship of animals is well known and Israel brought these idols to the temple.

Seventy men of the elders of the house of Yisra’el were facing these idols (Ezekiel 8:11). It appears that these were privately worshipped by the priests, consisting of seventy persons. In the midst of these people was the son of the scribe (Shaphan).

They were doing all these abdominal things in secret, out of the eyes of the normal people but they forgot Yah sees all things (Ezekiel 8:12).

Third abomination: Weeping for tammuz

Ezekiel was taken to the door of the north gate where he saw woman sitting and weeping for tammuz (Ezekiel 8:14). Tammuz was the son of Istar (astarte) a.k.a queen of heaven.

Forth abomination: worship eastward to the sun

At the inner court of the temple, Ezekiel saw 25 men with their backs toward the temple and facing towards the east worshipping the sun (Ezekiel 8:16).

Yah asks if this is a small matter to the house of Judah to do these abominations. It is due to these abominations that violence comes to the land. (Ezekiel 8:17).

Yah said this to Ezekiel about the abominations Israel were doing: “Therefore I shall indeed deal in wrath. My eye shall not pardon nor would I spare. And they shall cry in My ears with a loud voice, but I shall not hear them.” (Ezekiel 8:18).

The True Worship became mixed with (defiled with) sun-worship.

2 Kings 23:4-11 confirms what idols were worshipped by Israel: objects made for baal, istar (Astarte) and the host of the heavens (stars, moon and sun). Including were istar (Astarte) poles or sun-pillars, male prostitutes, women weaving shelters for istar (Astarte/Asherah), high worship places and places where children were offered to Molech (molek).

Question: Do you think these idols are still worship today.

Remember in those days the normal people may not have known of the idol worshipping when going to the temple. Also remember this idol worship was done in secret, maybe unknowingly presented to the people or maybe they did know but their eyes and ears were closed.

Today we are presented with traditions and various doctrines from the priests, pastors, churches, rabbis, synagogues and other institutions. Many today are still done in secret, unknowingly to the masses, following a religion made by man.

What Yah said to Ezekiel, is applicable to us as well. Let me remind you of His words to Ezekiel: “Therefore I shall indeed deal in wrath. My eye shall not pardon nor would I spare. And they shall cry in My ears with a loud voice, but I shall not hear them.” (Ezekiel 8:18).

Stephen said in Acts 7:42 Elohim turned and gave them up to worship the host of the heaven because of their disobedience.

Yah will do it again in our time. Nothing is new.

So, are you knowingly or unknowingly worshipping the host of the heavens through your pastor, priest or rabbi?

Are the pastor, priest or rabbi today still worshipping idols in secret.

Ezekiel in order

Do you know the chapters in the book of Ezekiel are not in chronological order? The book of Ezekiel is quiet difficult to understand, if you read it in the current chapter order (1 to 48) in the scripture version you presently have; KJV, ESV, ISR and others.

I believe this will change once you realize the chapters are not in order and read them in their order of occurrence in time.

To find the order, you can do your own investigation with the scripture version you have in your possession.

Ezekiel the prophet always starts of his writings with the year, the month and the day, example; in the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth day, ……….

Now go through Ezekiel and write down the dates of each chapter and then place the dates (year, month and day) in chronological order.

You will be surprised.

The question I have at this stage is why are the writings of Ezekiel not in the correct order, was this done in error, or was it done purposely. By whom was the writings placed in this order: was it by the enemy or was it by Yah, or did Yah tell someone to place it in this order. Did the enemy place the chapters in this order to confuse/deceive the believer or did Yah instruct it this way for only those who have ears to hear and eyes to see.

As I start my study, I pray the Ruach of Yahuah will lead me to understand the prophesy of Ezekiel given by Yahuah in the order of the dates.

Below is the order of chapters as per the year, month and day written by the prophet. The chapter in the chronological order first followed in brackets by the chapter numbers as given to us in our scriptures.

Chapter 49 (Chapter 4)

Chapter 50 (Chapter 5)

Chapter 51 (Chapter 6)

Chapter 51 (Chapter 7)

Once we have the chapters in the right order, the prophesy given by Ezekiel will be clear.

May the Ruach of Yah lead us in truth – His truth.

Don’t just believe what I have written above, please do your own investigation and pray for guidance.
