The Song (or Prayer) to Yahuah

Heavenly Father instructed Moses to write down a song for the Israelites to sing and to teach it to their children. It has beautiful words and is a very long song, from verse 1 to 43 in Deuteronomy 32.

Below is part of the song from verse 1 to 3;

"Give ear, O heavens and let me speak; And hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. “Let my instruction fall as rain, My speech drop down as dew, as fine rain on the tender plants, and as showers on the grass. "For I proclaim the Name of Yahuah, ascribe greatness to our Elohim (Almighty).

Verses 4 to 14, is about a just and Right Yahuah (Heavenly Father):  “The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are right-ruling, an El of truth and without unrighteousness, righteous and straight is He. “A twisted and crooked generation has corrupted itself, their blemish, they are not His children. “Do you do this to Yahuah, O foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father, who bought you, who created you and established you? “Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations. Ask your father and let him show you, your elders, and let them say to you: “When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance when He separated the sons of Adam…

Verse 4 "The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are right-ruling, a Father of truth and without unrighteousness, righteous and straight is He. We serve a Almighty that has a unchanging nature and keeps His covenants. He is a Father-figure, caring for His people in every way of their lives.

Verses 15 to 25, is about a jealous Yahuah. People provoked Him to jealousy by worshipping false gods. Do not provoke Father to jealousy by doing sin.

Verses 26 to 34, is about the pride of Israel's captors.

Verses 35 to 42, is Yahuah's vengeance.

Verse 43, is Yahuah's mercy. Rejoice, O he nations, with His people: for He will avenge the blood of His servants, and will render vengeance to His adversaries, and will be merciful unto His land, and to His people (People that have done harm to His children will pay one day).

Verse 9; "For the portion of Yahuah is His people, Jacob (Israel) His allotted inheritance.

In verse 10, Father says He watches over him (Israel) as the apple of His eye.

Zechariah 2:8, for thus said Yahuah of hosts for the sake of esteem He sent me to the nations which plunder you: "For he who touches you touches the apple of My eye.

Command 2

“You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:  You shall not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahuah (Heavenly Father) your Elohim am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;  And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my Commandments.” Exodus 20:4-6.

The 2nd Commandment differs from the 1st in that it explains that in our worship, we must not reduce Elohim (Almighty) to a likeness of a physical object. Doing so is unacceptable to Elohim. This 2nd Command explicitly forbids the use of any type of inanimate or lifeless imagery, “any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath,” in the worship of the living Elohim.

Our Creator is a living Elohim, not an inanimate statue, figurine or picture. To make any representation of Him distorts and limits our perception of what He is really like and so damages our relationship with Him.

Not only did Yahuah make humans in His image, He created us to become even more like Him. Being like Elohim and developing His own character in us is what our existence is all about.

In one sense, in the 2nd Commandment Yahauh tells mankind: “Don't try to tell Me what I am like. I will tell you what I am like! It is important that you correctly understand that I will accept no representations of Me.” However, we are not without a perfect pattern of Yahuah's character.

Messiah as a human being so perfectly represented what Yahuah is like that He told His disciples, “He that has seen me has seen the Father…” John 14:9. The time is coming when Yahuah will transform those who have become like Him in heart and truth from a physical to a spiritual existence.

Yahuah holds us accountable for our words and deeds. Bowing before an idol to pay homage to one's own image of Elohim may appear to be an act of great devotion if one is ignorant of Elohim's great purpose for human beings. But Yahuah expects those who worship Him in truth and understanding to demonstrate their love for Him by keeping His Commandments from the heart, not by going through useless rites in front of any object. Messiah made this clear when He said, “Yahuah is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth” - John 4:24.

We are not to worship Elohim with images and meaningless rituals.

Messiah explained that “the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” - John 4:23.

Once we gain an understanding of Yahuah's revelation, He holds us accountable for what we know. Only those who do what they learn they should do are true worshipers of Elohim (Romans 2:13; James 1:22-25).

The apostle John was clear, “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his Commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him” -1 John 2:4. Obeying Elohim is worshiping Him by emulating Him, by thinking and living as He would. We allow Him to spiritually fashion us into His likeness. We honour and praise Him by the way we live.

A physical image, painting or picture of a deity has neither life nor power. He asks that we read about Him, learn what He is like and emulate Him. Yahuah wanted the Israelites to remember that they were to worship the living Elohim, not an idol, and always to direct their worship toward their Creator and never toward objects within His creation. He commanded them, “Take heed unto yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of Yahuah your Elohim, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of anything, which Yahuah your Elohim has forbidden you” - Deuteronomy 4:23.

Idolatry in any form is soundly condemned in the New Testament as well as the Old. Paul warned others, “Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry” - 1 Corinthians 10:14.

Buried deep within icons and the other imagery of idolatry, the unseen hand of Satan is at work. Satan conditions people to visualize in their mind's eye even the Son of Yahuah as a lifeless, inanimate image.

Satan's object is to divert attention from Messiah as the vibrant and perfect living image of the living Creator described in the four Gospels. By blinding most of mankind (Revelation 12:9) to the importance of Yahuah's Commandments, Satan has successfully deflected much of the Believer world's professed adoration for Messiah toward icons and pictures contrary to the clear instruction of the 2nd Commandment.

The 2nd Commandment reminds us that Yahuah is far greater than anything we can see or imagine. We must never let that knowledge be pushed aside by the use of some image or likeness in our worship of Yahuah.

Abomination (disgrace, curse)

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!... Isaiah 5:24 Therefore, as a flame of fire consumes stubble, and dry grass collapses into the flame, so their root will become like rot and their blossom blow away as dust; For they have rejected the law (Torah) of Yahuah of hosts, and despised the word of the Set-Apart One (Holy One) of Israel.

Yahuah created human beings. He made them male and female. From the beginning, Yahuah created all living creatures male and female that they might fulfill the commandment to “be fruitful and multiply.” It is physical impossibility for two males, or two females, to enter into sexual union and bear offspring. Such an idea defies both nature and the Almighty of creation. The marriage union between a man and a woman was not only divinely appointed; it was clothed in the pure array of holiness.

Hebrews 13:4; Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled... Leviticus 18:22-25; ‘And do not lie with a male as with a woman, it is an abomination. ‘And do not have intercourse with any beast, to defile yourself with it. And a woman does not stand before a beast to mate with it, it is a perversion. ‘Do not defile yourselves with all these, for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am driving out before you. ‘Thus the land became defiled, therefore I punished it for its crookedness, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.

Mankind is informed by their conscience that male/male and female/female sexual relations are morally wrong and a deviation from the natural order of creation. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the reign of Elohim? Do not be deceived. Neither those who whore, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor greedy of gain, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers shall inherit the reign of Elohim. This declaration is repeated in Galatians 5:19-21 And the works of the flesh are wellknown, which are these: adultery, whoring, uncleanness, indecency, idolatry, drug sorcery, hatred, quarrels, jealousies, fits of rage, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, envy, murders, drunkenness, wild parties, and the like – of which I forewarn you, even as I also said before, that those who practice such as these shall not inherit the reign of Elohim and Ephesians 5:3-5 But whoring and all uncleanness, or greed of gain, let it not even be named among you, as is proper among set-apart ones – neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather thanksgiving. For this you know, that no one who whores, nor unclean one, nor one greedy of gain, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the reign of Messiah and Elohim.

This is the path that an ever increasing number of individuals are choosing. By embracing sexual disorder, the individual also adopts the much wider realm of moral disorder, for ultimately their rebellion and rejection of moral righteousness is aimed at Heavenly Father Yahuah.

The apostle Paul in his letter to the saints in Rome reveals that an entire raft of sinful behavior attaches itself to the sexual anarchy of homosexuality - Romans 1:24-32 Therefore Elohim gave them up to uncleanness in the lust of their hearts, to disrespect their bodies among themselves, who changed the truth of Elohim into the falsehood, and worshipped and served what was created rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. Because of this Elohim gave them over to degrading passions. For even their women exchanged natural relations for what is against nature, and likewise, the men also, having left natural relations with woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing indecency, and receiving back the reward which was due for their straying. And even as they did not think it worthwhile to possess the knowledge of Elohim, Elohim gave them over to a worthless mind, to do what is improper, having been filled with all unrighteousness, whoring, wickedness, greed, evil; filled with envy, murder, fighting, deceit, evil habits; whisperers, slanderers, haters of Elohim, insolent, proud, boasters, devisers of evils, disobedient to parents, without discernment, covenant breakers, unloving, unforgiving, ruthless; who, though they know the righteousness of Elohim, that those who practice such deserve death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Genesis 18:20-21; Yahuah said, "Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous, I will go down now, and see whether their deeds are as bad as the reports which have come to me. If not, I will know."

Nothing is too ungodly (unholy, disrespectful) for those who cast off Yahuah’s authority. The nations are seeking to cast off all moral restraint. They either re-create God in an image that smiles upon their depravity, or they revile Yahuah and His Son openly. In either case, they are rejecting the knowledge of Elohim (Almighty).

Disorder is now the law of the land. Father Yahuah will not be mocked, neither does He change, therefore homosexual is still an abomination to Him.

Trouble Coming

Trouble is close, very close! The trouble is worldwide and if people’s eyes and ears are closed, they should open them, because they will not know what to do when that trouble arrives.

It will be necessary that every believer look to Heavenly Father Yahuah for their daily bread, rather than to the world (government) system.

Messiah taught His disciples how to pray to the Father. In what is called “The Lord’s Prayer,” Yahusha (Jesus) Messiah stated, “Give us this day, our daily bread.”

In the Sermon on the Mount, the Son of Heavenly Father scolded the people of Elohim (Almighty) for not trusting their Father in heaven for their daily needs and care.

Matthew 6:25-33 “For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single cubit to his life's span? And why are you anxious about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory did not clothe himself like one of these. But if Elohim so arrays the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more do so for you, O men of little faith? Do not be anxious then, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'With what shall we clothe ourselves?' For all these things the Gentiles (Nations) eagerly seek; for your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.”

Let me repeat what Messiah is saying: But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.” Now believe and then do!

Few Christians today have any experience of trusting Yahuah in the practical matters of life. In a time of pressing need they are in the habit of pulling out the credit card to deliver them. In doing so, they are leaning on the arm of the flesh. They have turned to the bankers to save them, rather than to Yahuah.

To whom will these same Christians turn in the coming hour of trouble? Will they turn to the world system (satan) to save them, ultimately becoming his slaves, or will they cast their lives into the hands of Yahuah?

Do not be deceived in what man tells you!

Only look towards the Creator, who created you and me and the entire universe.

The Faithful ones

The Scriptures describe the faithful assembly as those who "have kept His Word and have not denied His Name" - Revelation 3:8 “I know your works – see, I have set before you an open door, and no one is able to shut it – that you have little power, yet have guarded My Word, and have not denied My Name.

Take Note: The acceptable ones, the overcomers, keep His Word, and they do not deny His Name!

There is also the promise that those who overcome will be given a new name and the Name of Yahuah will be written on them - Revelation 2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I shall give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I shall give him a white stone, and on the stone a renewed Name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’& Revelation 3:12 “He who overcomes, I shall make him a supporting post in the Dwelling Place of My Elohim, and he shall by no means go out. And I shall write on him the Name of My Elohim and the name of the city of My Elohim, the renewed Jerusalem, which comes down out of the heaven from My Elohim, and My renewed Name.

What a future to wait for! Stay focused and be an overcomer!

All of the servants of Yahuah are sealed with His Name. "The throne of Elohim and of the Lamb will be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His Name shall be on their foreheads" - Revelation 22:3-4.

The 144,000 faithful who will stand on Mount Tsiyon with the Lamb, will have the "Father's Name written on their foreheads" - Revelation 14:1.

The following is a Priestly blessing which was spoken over the children of Israel in order to actually place the Name of Yahuah upon them: "Yahuah bless you and keep you; Yahuah make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; Yahuah lift up His face upon you, and give you peace." - Numbers 6:24-26.

When we worship Elohim (Almighty) in Spirit and in Truth, we must pray as King David did when he declared: "I will bow down toward your Set-Apart Temple and praise Your Name for Your Love and Your faithfulness, for You have exalted above all things Your Name and Your Word." - Psalms 138:2. ...... The Father and the Son.

Stand strong and be faithful!

Power in His Name

We read in Scriptures that: "The Name of Yahuah is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe" - Proverbs 18:10.

There is strength and power in the Name of Yahuah and those who belong to Him are protected by that Name.

Moses declared in his song to the children of Israel that: "Yahuah is a man of war; Yahuah is His Name" - Exodus 15:3.

Yahuah actually fights our battles for us and nobody understood that better than David who entered into battle against the Philistine giant Goliath without any armor or conventional weapons. David said the following to the giant; "You come to me with a sword, a spier, and with a shield, but I come to you in the name of Yahuah of hosts, the Elohim of the ranks of Israel, whom you have defied" - 1 Samuel 17:45. David relied on the Name of Yahuah and not weapons.

David wrote the following passage later in his life: "All nations surrounded me, but in the Name of Yahuah I will destroy them. They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me; but in the Name of Yahuah I will destroy them. They surrounded me like bees; they were quenched like a fire of thorns; for in the Name of Yahuah I will destroy them - Psalms 118:10-12.

David knew that the Name of Yahuah not only has the power to deliver us in our battles - it also has the power to save.

The Scriptures are clear that we must "repent, and be baptized ........ in the Name of Yahusha the Messiah (Jesus) for the forgiveness of our transgressions, and we shall receive the gift of the Set-Apart (Holy) Spirit" - Acts 2:38.

This is very important because forgiveness is in and through the Name of Yahusha! There is power in the Name of Yahusha - which also contains the Name of Yahusha the Fathers name.

Scriptures that revealing the importance of the Name is the following; John 1:12 but as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name, Matthew 24:9 “Then they shall deliver you up to affliction and kill you, and you shall be hated by all nations for My Name’s sake, Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there I am in their midst,”  John 14:13-14 “And whatever you ask in My Name, that I shall do, in order that the Father might be esteemed in the Son. “If you ask whatever in My Name, I shall do it, John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Set-apart Spirit, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all, and remind you of all that I said to you, John 15:16 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name He might give you & John 15:20-21 “Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they shall persecute you too. If they have guarded My Word, they would guard yours too. “But all this they shall do to you because of My Name, because they do not know Him who sent Me.

Messiah performed miracles in the Name of Yahuah as He stated: "The miracles I do in my Father's Name speak for me" - John 10:25.

Yahuah forbids premarital sex

Heavenly Father only permits sex inside marriage.

Why?

Western culture largely doesn’t see a problem with premarital sex anymore. And if the couple consents, what’s the problem? Yahuah (Heavenly Father) forbids sex outside of marriage because outside of marriage there’s no public agreement or commitment to each other and any children that might come from the sexual union.

Sex joins a husband to his wife with incredibly potent force (love) and from this a family grows—procreation (making babies) being the most obvious (Genesis 1:28), but it also binds a man and woman together in a way that nothing else can (Genesis 2:24–25)—the two texts Yahusha (Jesus) himself explained marriage.

This is a command - Genesis 1:28 and Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over all creatures moving on the earth.”

Genesis 2:24 for this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

By forbidding sex outside of marriage (1 Corinthians 7:2) Yahuah is saying that we must publically acknowledge that we have a duty of care to our sexual partner before we get to have sex.

1 Corinthians 7:2 but because of whoring (immorality), let each one have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.

Think about it; marriage establishes a public agreement to care for any potential children from a sexual union, so it provides a level of accountability to parents for looking after their own children.

Is sex outside of marriage not called fornication according to the Bible! This is hard words and I am just as guilty of this deed. But now that I know Yahuah’s truth, I have repented. I am now sharing the truth that I have received with people especially the young ones so they do not make the same mistakes.

If sex is okay outside of marriage, then sex and children happen outside of contexts where people have voluntarily acknowledged their duty of care to their sexual partner and their children. But, people in our society today think sex outside of marriage is okay because we have separated sex from a duty of care for our sexual partner. Sex is now a game people play, not an expression of love people share. But if sex is a game people play, then why shouldn’t they be able to make money from playing it? After all, rugby and football players make obscene amounts of money just for playing a game, and sex is in many ways more entertaining than any of those, so why can’t people make money from ‘playing’ sex? And if sex is a game, why can’t we change the rules as we feel like, and legitimize all sorts of sexual expressions? And if sex is a game, what’s the point of marriage? Why not redefine marriage to reflect socially acceptable sexual proclivities?

And what do we see in the world? Homosexuality is now just a ‘sexual preference’, prostitution is legal in many places, and same-sex marriage is sweeping the Western world. We cannot even call this sex but rather lust because procreation can never come from man with man or woman with woman. That is Yahuah’s purpose of sex for a married husband and wife – procreation (production of offspring)!

Notice in all this how children, as products of sexual unions, have been forgotten.

Why?

Western culture has (largely) managed to separate sex from procreation (making offspring). The original design of sex was cleverly inventive—Father Yahuah (Heavenly Father) made the most pleasurable human experience the means by which new life is generated; it puts an enormous responsibility on those couples engaging in sexual activity.

But of course, the general availability of birth control has largely taken the fear of pregnancy away, so it makes it easy to treat sex like a game.

“But sex can still be an expression of love outside of marriage, right?” No. It can be an expression of short-lived passion, or romance, or lust but not love in the biblical sense of actively putting another’s needs above oneself.

“Oh, but I’m a generous lover!” In bed, maybe, but what about the rest of the day?

The duty of care Heavenly Father says sex binds us to, is not simply our partner’s sexual needs, but all their needs. Food, clothing, shelter, emotional well-being, spiritual well-being—all of it. When we view sex as an expression of that sort of love, then it’s plain that anything less than sex inside marriage cheapens the value of sex.

If we are not willing to be so bound to someone that all their needs are largely dependent on us, then we shouldn’t be having sex. And if we are so willing, then we should make the public profession to such willingness (with our partner, of course; it takes two to marry!) before having sex so that everyone else can hold us accountable.

 “Birth control” means the opposite of what it says! It means no birth and no control. Anything that attacks the family is bad for society.

Government tries to replace the family’s rights, and business tries to replace the family’s rights. There is a constant commercial and cultural pressure on father, mother, and child.

They are minimized and made unimportant and, yes, mocked. Sexual morality has decayed progressively.

But let us remember that it began with birth control, which is an attempt to create sex for sex’s sake, changing the act of love into an act of selfishness. The promotion and acceptance of lifeless, barren, selfish sex has logically progressed to homosexuality. Sin has consequences. Homosexuality is a disorder. It is contrary to order. Homosexual acts are sinful, that is, they are contrary to Yahuah’s order. They can never be normal.

Marriage is between a man and a woman. That is the order. It is a sacramental order, with divine implications.

The world has made a mockery of marriage that has now culminated with homosexual unions. Divorce, which is an abnormal thing, is now treated as normal. Contraception, another abnormal thing, is now treated as normal. Abortion is still not normal, but it is legal. Making homosexual “marriage” legal will not make it normal, but it will add to the confusion of the times. And it will add to the downward spiral of our civilization.

We need to turn back to Heavenly Fathers ways (order) because Yahuah will not be mocked forever. His patience will soon run out! This is truth and I can only speak the truth! All I can do is tell others the truth and only pray they change their life and follow the Creator’s ways.
