If you Love Him

1 John 2:3-5, and by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands.The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

 

Who is perfect!

In Genesis 17:1, Yahuah appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Âl Shaddai – walk before Me and be perfect.

Psalm 119:1, blessed are the perfect in the way, Who walk in the teaching of Yahuah!

And Messiah says in Matthew 5:48, “Therefore, be perfect, as your Father in the heavens is perfect.

Can we be perfect! The Almighty is asking us to be perfect.

1 John 2:6-7, the one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.

What are the Old commands! Exodus 20 is the old commands, the 10 Words of Yahuah.

This is what will happen to those that do His will;

Revelation 12:17, and the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of Yahusha Messiah.

Revelation 14:12, Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yahusha Messiah.

The set-apart ones are the remnant mentioned in Revelation 12:17.

A True Worshipper has to comply with these two requirements: To guard the commands of Yahuah, and to believe in Yahusha Messiah!

Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are those doing His commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city.

Matthew 19:17, and He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One – Elohim. But if you wish to enter into life, guard the commands.”

If we desire life! Guard the commands of Yahuah, and believe in Yahusha Messiah!

What is Love verse True Love?

One can be loving and caring, expressing a type of love on the surface, but if the one expressing the loving and caring attributes knowingly practices sinful behaviour and actions contrary to what is right, as defined by Scripture, and stays defiantly in an unrepentant state, then he/she is no brother or sister at all in Messiah.

Alternatively, if we keep the eternal laws, statutes, and judgments of Yahuah correctly, but don't express the fruit of the Spirit by having love and true concern for the brethren, then we also become listed with those not of the body of Messiah.

We pray Abba Father for Your Set-apart Spirit, to help us to do Your Word, in the Name of the Living Word, Yahusha we ask this.
