Obey My voice = Love

Obey My voice, and I shall be your Elohim, and you will be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, so that it be well with you - Jeremiah 7:23.

Obedience to Elohim is love for Him.

You can be a Jew, a Rabbi, a Pastor, a Priest, or someone that attends church every Sunday, keep the Sabbath, know the Bible (scriptures) from beginning to end or just be a good person; if you do not obey the Almighty, He may not consider you His chosen one or people.

Genesis 26:5, because Abraham obeyed My voice and guarded My Charge; My commands, My laws and My Torah.

Abraham loved and obeyed Elohim and he was blessed. Because of Abraham’s obedience towards Almighty, He was chosen and Father called him His friend.

Yahuah says in Exodus 19:5, if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My covenant, then you shall be my treasured possession above all the people's.

Again Father confirms this in His Torah (Instructions or law), you are my chosen people if you obey My ways.

John 3:36 says that he who believes in the Son (Messiah) possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life.

Read this verse 36 again: Not only must you believe in Yahusha (Jesus) but you also need to obey Him and if you do not, you will not see everlasting life (salvation).

This obedience is the same obedience towards Father Yahuah, which means Father and the Son have the same commands.

Romans 6;16 says you are servants of the one whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?

Very clear: Who is your master?

Hebrews 5:9 and having been perfected, He became the Author of everlasting deliverance to all those obeying Him.

Yahusha (Jesus) became (past generation) and will be the savior for those who repent and then obey Him.

Do you love Father and His Son Yahusha (Jesus), if so then this is what Messiah says in John 14:15; "If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.

Messiah speaking the same Words as His Father said in Exodus 19:5.

In John 14:21 Messiah Yahusha tells us what love is; "He who possess My commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father.

Messiah says in John 14:23, "If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word (commands). And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him.

HalleluYah. This is true love, by doing/keeping His commands, not half of the commands or all except one but all that He asks us to keep!

Father says: Obey My voice, and I shall be your Elohim, and you will be My people.

Do you know what His commands are? If we love Him then we will keep His commands! Let us obey His voice so that we can be called His chosen people!

What are the things Yahuah is asking us to obey? Love is to ………;

      Follow His 10 Words (10 commandments) which are;
·         Have no other gods
·         Do not make/worship idols
·         Do not use His Name in vain or bring to naught.
·         Keep the 7th day Sabbath
·         Respect your parents
·         Do not murder
·         Do not commit adultery/whoring
·         Do not steal
·         Do not bear false witness/lie
·         Do not covet which is not yours.
       Repent of your sins.
        Have a forgiving heart.
       Do not be proud.
Keep the 7 feasts of Yahuah
       Be patient and meek
       Believe in Yahusha (Jesus)
       Do not eat unclean animals.
Do not eat or drink blood.
Do not be of this world (flesh/entertainment) but be Holy (Set-apart).
       Do not commit sodomy/homosexual
Do not partake in sexual immorality
Help the widows and the children
      Teach your children Yahuah’s ways.
       Give to the needy
Do not worship things in the heavens - stars, moon, sun ......
Love Yahuah with all your heart, soul and mind.
         And so on...........

are those who obey His voice.

Being deceived

Satan has sold off the false idea that Yahusha (Jesus) went through His great suffering, not to save us from our sins, but in our sins. Many have bought this lie.

Also, that Messiah somehow has a different code of conduct than His Father and that He has come to save us from Yahuah's harsh, mean laws, instead of the penalty for breaking them.

Most Christians has bought this lie. Romans 8:7 because the carnal mind (flesh) is enmity (hatred) against Elohim (Almighty). For it is not subject to the law of Yahuah, neither indeed is it able."

Yahuah laid His rules (laws) to Adam and Eve. He explained to them right (righteousness) from wrong (sin). He told them to believe and trust Him (faith). What did satan do, he told them to trust in themselves. Satan told them that the reason Yahuah wanted to keep them from sin was not for their good, but to keep them from being happy. They bought the lie and paid the penalty. Death!

Ezekiel 18:4, "The soul that is sinning shall die."

And what is sin? 1 John 3:4“Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness (breaking the law)."

The carnal (flesh) mind is only selfish, lustful, proud, and covetous. Apart from Yahuah's Sprit living in us, there is nothing good about any of us.

Read Genesis 6:5-7 as to what Yahuah says about the human race He created. And Yahuah (Heavenly Father) saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And Yahuah was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. And Yahuah said, “I am going to wipe off man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping creature and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.”
We know the story of Noah, the righteous one who was saved.

Only through the imparting of the Set Apart Spirit (Holy Spirit) can one even begin to put on the mind of Messiah. And even then, unless we pick up our stake (cross) daily and deny self, we will never truly change.

We have to be Set apart (Holy) from the worldly things like Father and the Son are Set apart (Holy), to come out of the world (Revelation 18:4) so we do not share in her sins.

The character of the Creator

And Yahuah came down in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name, Yahuah. And Yahuah passed before him and proclaimed, “Yahuah, Yahuah, an El (Elohim (Almighty)) compassionate (merciful) and showing favour (gracious), patient (slow to anger), and great in kindness (goodness) and truth, watching over kindness (mercy) for thousands, forgiving crookedness (iniquity) and transgression and sin, but by no means leaving unpunished, visiting the crookedness (iniquity) of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation” – Exodus 34: 5-7.

Numbers 14:18 ‘Yahuah is patient and of great kindness, forgiving crookedness and transgression, but by no means leaving unpunished; visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.’

Jeremiah 30:11 ‘For I am with you,’ declares Yahuah, ‘to save you. Though I make a complete end of all gentiles (nations) where I have scattered you, yet I do not make a complete end of you. But I shall reprove (correct) you in judgment (justly), and by no means leave you unpunished.’

Now David knew all about Yahuah’s character as he expressed his feelings in Psalm 103 similar to what Moses heard from Father in Exodus 34;6-7.

David received all Yahuah’s blessing but David also made mistakes which he repented of! Yahuah forgave David of his sins but as Father’s character is, He did not leave David unpunished.

How did David react to his punishment? He accepted His punishment and moved on because He knew how Father thinks and operates!

Read Psalm 103 below and hear how David tells us of Yahuah’s character which ties up to Exodus 34: 6-7.

Psalm 103 Bless Yahuah, O my being, and all that is within me, bless His set-apart Name! Bless Yahuah, O my being, and do not forget all His dealings, who forgives all your crookednesses, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with kindness and compassion, who satisfies your desire with the good, your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Yahuah is doing righteousness and right-ruling for all the oppressed. He made known His ways to Moses (Mosheh), His acts to the children of Israel. Yahuah is compassionate (merciful) and showing favour (gracious), patient, and great in kindness. He does not always strive (endeavor/contend), nor maintain it forever. He has not done to us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our crookednesses. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His kindness toward those who fear Him; As far as east is from west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion for his children, so Yahuah has compassion for those who fear Him. For He knows how we are made; He remembers that we are dust. A man’s days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind blows over it, and it is no more, and its place no longer remembers it. But the kindness of Yahuah is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to those who guard His covenant, and to those who remember His orders (commandments) to do them. Yahuah has established His throne in the heavens, and His reign shall rule over all. Bless Yahuah, you His messengers, mighty in power, who do His Word, listening to the voice of His Word. Bless Yahuah, all you His hosts, you His servants, who do His pleasure. Bless Yahuah, all His works, in all places of His rule. Bless Yahuah, O my being!

Verses 1-4- This is a beautiful psalm of Yahuah's grace and mercy and healing power. Verse 3- Yahuah promises to heal His chosen and forgives upon repentance, but when He takes away the human sickness as a result of the sin is fully His prerogative, whether it is immediate, later or even when the Kingdom arrives. This is where faith for healing comes in. This is also very important to repent of your wrong doings. In fact it is a command to repent (Acts 17:30) and David clearly knew this.

Verses 8-13- Show the beautiful mercy and grace of a most loving Creator even in man's inability to be righteous in the flesh.

Yahusha(Jesus) came to earth as a human to know the exact feelings and weaknesses that humans go through to be a most merciful High Priest to us, Hebrews 2:16-18,for, doubtless, He does not take hold of messengers, but He does take hold of the seed of Abraham. So in every way He had to be made like His brothers, in order to become a compassionate and trustworthy High Priest in matters related to Elohim, to make atonement for the sins of the people. For in what He had suffered, Himself being tried, He is able to help those who are tried.
Hebrews 4:14-16 therefore, since we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Yahusha the Son of Elohim, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who was tried in all respects as we are, apart from sin. Therefore, let us come boldly to the throne of favour, in order to receive compassion, and find favour for timely help.

The promise is to those who not only believe in His commandments but to those who keep them. To say that one loves Yahuah, but they do not keep His commandments scripture calls them a liar - 1John 2:3-5.

Both the cherubs (Angels) of heaven and the true ministers of Yahusha on earth bless only the name of Yahuah and not the name of pagan deities -Isaiah 42:8.

We must have the same character as Messiah Yahusha (Jesus).

Decay through sin

Incomplete removal of evil/sin often means disaster in the end. We must beware of compromising with wickedness. Repeatedly sinning against Father Yahuah will allow suffering to come upon those who sin.

Sin always has its consequences.

Where there is sin we can expect suffering to follow. Rather than living in an endless cycle of sinning and then crying out to Yahuah for rescue, we should seek to live a consistent life of faithfulness.

Our lives will also fall into decline and decay unless we follow and live by the instructions (Torah) Heavenly Father Yahuah has given us. They are guidance for us!

The world has many rewards to offer those who compromise their faith even by mixing a little world with a little faith: wealth, recognition, power, and influence.

When we give our life to Messiah, we must not pollute it by desire of the worldly things. We can expect decay when we value anything more highly than Yahuah.

If our independence is more valuable than Yahuah, we have then placed an idol above Him. Soon our lives become temples to that god/idol. Idolatry gains a foothold in our hearts when we make anything more important than Yahuah.

We must constantly regard Yahuah first in our life and all our desires.

Rebellion against Yahuah leads to disaster.

John 9:31, "And we know that Elohim does not hear sinners. But if anyone fears Elohim and does His desires, He hears him.

What is His desire? Is it not obedience! This is what the above verse means; Fear and obey Him.

Messiah says in John 17:14, "I have given them Your Word, and the world hated them because they are not of the world, as I (Messiah) am not of the world.

Where are we, in the world or in His Word?

Psalm 91

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, who abides under the shadow of the Almighty, he is saying of Yahuah (Heavenly Father), "My refuge and my stronghold, my Elohim (Almighty), in whom I trust" - Psalm 91:1-2.

The secret place - is in His covenant, in His presence, to do His will and obeying Him because you love Him.

If verse 1-2 is you, then Father says in verse 3-13, that He protects you from destructive pestilence, from arrows, from darkness, from plagues, even from lions and from cobras which you will trample on. A 1000 will fall at your side, and 10 000 at your right side, but it does not come near you. Only with your eyes you see the wicked fall.

HalleluYAH!!!!!

The exciting part is how Heavenly Father Yahuah will protect you, read in verse 4; He covers you with His feathers, and under His wings you take refuge; His truth is a shield and armour.

His truth is the only truth. Father says His truth is a shield and armour! You are protected if you have His truth.

Another HalleluYAH!

In verse 11; Father commands His Angels to guard you in all ways.

HalleluYAH, once again!

Verse 14-16; Father says the following; "Because he cleaves to Me in love, I deliver him, I set him on high, because he has known My Name (Do you know His Name).

Father says further; "When he calls Me, I answer him; I am with him in distress; I deliver and esteem him.

Father finally says; "With long life I satisfy him, and show him My deliverance."

HalleluYAH, what a promise!

If you are under His wings, you do not fear anything.

(Praise Yah).
