Parable of the Ant
Go to the ant, you lazy one! See her ways and be wise,
which, having no commander, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the
summer, gathers her food in the harvest. How long would you lie down, O lazy
one? When do you arise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a
little folding of the hands to lie down; and your poverty shall come like a
prowler, and your need as an armed man - Proverbs 6:6-11.
The verses above not only talk about those who are lazy to
work or to have someone watch over you (boss) making sure you are doing what
you supposed to be doing. This parable of the ant is also about a person’s
faith (belief); we do not need someone like a pastor, parents or a teacher to
make sure we follow Yahuah.
Be wise as the ant; build your relationship with Him now,
without the traditions of man. The pastor or parent cannot give you salvation,
this is something you must work out on your own.
Again, O lazy one, when will you come out of your lukewarm
belief! A little sleep, a little playing around, a little doing this and doing
that and when you wipe the sleep out of your eyes, the door to Yahuah's kingdom
will be closed.
O, wake up those who are lukewarm, who only worship Yahuah
when they are in need or when they feel like it!
Be like the ant and build up your crown of treasure now that
you still have time because you never know when the door will close and then it
is to late.
