Worthy of Repentance

 

Paul was instructed to go to all people and tell them to repent and turn to Elohim, and do works worthy of repentance - Acts 26:20.

What works is worthy of repentance?

Remember repentance means to turn 180 degrees around from your old ways and to walk the new way (Messiah's way). So, the works of repentance which should be worthy of is example; the old way was watching pornography material and after repentance the works (action) is not to ever watch pornography again. In other words, do not just say "Father, please forgive me for watching porn material but then a week later you go back and watch again. That is false repentance!

 

Matthew 16:27 “For the Son of Adam (Messiah) is going to come in the esteem of His Father with His messengers, and then He shall reward each according to his works.

Is your repentance worthy or is it just lip talk!

 

Psalm 62:12 and kindness is Yours, O Yahuah; for You reward each one according to his work.

Even David knew that repentance needs to be by works!

Romans 2:6 who “shall render to each one according to his works.”

Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Messiah Yahusha unto good works, which Elohim prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Good works is worthy of repentance!

Revelation 22:12 “And see, I am coming speedily, and My reward is with Me, to give to each according to his work. To the true repentance ones and to the false repentance ones.

 

This is Yahusha (Jesus) speaking to what is waiting for all of us at the end of the age.

When you repent and turn to the Almighty, your faith needs to be shown by means of your actions (works) that you are serious about following in the footsteps of Messiah, you cannot just pretend!

The works are the evidence of your faith.

Faith without works is dead faith—in word only—not being true faith at all.
