Who is cursed and who will be blessed?
Read these verses very carefully to understand what is meant by “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart turns away from Yahuah and “Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahuah, and whose trust is Yahuah.
The curse.
Jeremiah 17:5-6 Thus said Yahuah, “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart turns away from Yahuah. “For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and not see when good comes, and shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land that is not inhabited.
Israel as a nation did not turn to Yahuah in faith during their distress, but looked toward other nations for sources.
Are we today trusting in man and making flesh our strength? What examples do we trust in man today: health (medical schemes, doctors, pharmacy etc.), weather (changing or affecting the weather), farming (force feeding animals and modifying crops), teach the word (listen to preachers or making up religious doctrines and traditions), governments (man’s laws: teaching the children and marriage rules) to name a few.
The blessing.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 “Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahuah, and whose trust is Yahuah. “For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and does not see when heat comes. And his leaf shall be green, and in the year of drought he is not anxious, no rdoes he cease from yielding fruit.
Psalm 146:5-7 Blessed is he who has the El of Jacob for his help, whose expectancy is in Yahuah his Elohim, maker of the heavens and earth, the sea and all that is in them, who is guarding truth forever, doing right-ruling for the oppressed, giving bread to the hungry.
We trust Yah for healing, family, children, rain, health, food, teaching, protection, to name a few.
It is best to trust in Yahuah then in man’s entertainments.
“Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahuah.”
