Happiness

Where do we find happiness? We look for acknowledgement/recognition from others, success in life and overall happiness according to the world’s standards instead of Heavenly Father Yahuah’s standards.

That is what causes most unhappiness. We focus on people pleasing, especially our friends, co-workers and our boss. We measure our success or failure against others or by the world’s definition. We look to our friends and even our spouse to fulfill voids in our life or to “make” us happy. Then, we are kept so busy by the world system, we don’t have to “feel” unhappy nor do we have time to think about it.

All Yahuah (Heavenly Father) wants is to be our Father; He wants a family that He can love and will love Him back. You love Him and please Him by doing His will, following His commandments, spending time with Him.

We please Him when we focus on Him and what He did for us through His Son. We please Him when we use the tools He gave us (His Word, His Spirit) to be truly, internally joyful in all circumstances!

When we immerse ourselves in His Word, utter and praise His Name, utter His Word throughout the day, and witness to others using His Word as the Spirit leads, we will be filled with joy and be pleasing to Him…and that is His measure of success.

The only Person that can fill any void in our life is Him and His Word!

“This Book of the Law (Torah) shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success” - Joshua 1:8.

“…Yahusha Messiah stood and cried out, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him would receive;…” John 7:37-39.

Psalm 19:14 let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before You, O Yahuah, my rock and my redeemer.

1 Chronicles 28:9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know the Elohim of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a pleasing life, for Yahuah searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you do seek Him, He is found by you; but if you forsake Him, He rejects you forever.

Seek only Him and please Him! That is where true happiness is found!

The Rock

Matthew 16:13-14, Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) asked the disciples what do men say who the Son of Adam is and they answered Him saying some people say it is John the Immerser (Baptist), others say Elijah and others say Jeremiah.

Verse 15-16, Messiah asked the disciples, "Who do you say I am?" And Peter (Kepha) said, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living Elohim (Almighty God)."

Matthew 16:17-18, Yahusha Messiah says "Blessed are you, Peter, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father in the heavens (other words, man has not told you this but Heavenly Father Yahuah Himself), and I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I shall build My assembly, and the gates of hell (Sheol) shall not overcome it.

Matthew 7:24-25, is about the man that build his house on the rock (strong belief) and not on sand (weak belief) and the floods did nothing to the house that was built on rock.

Verse 24-25 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does them, shall be like a wise man who built his house on the rock, and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

What happens to those that hears the words of Messiah but ignores them?

“And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not do them, shall be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell, and great was its fall” – Matthew 7:26-27.

That is right, they are fools! If we hear but don’t do, if we do not obey, it is all in vain. John 3:36 say “He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him.”

We are declared right through belief in the Son, but the final proof of our belief is whether we subsequently obey Him – or not!

Rock meaning strong/firm foundation able to withstand bad weather, thus Messiah said to Peter, "on this rock I shall build My assembly" which means that Peter's faith was rock solid (strong belief), and I (Messiah) shall build My assembly on Peter's faith.

Assembly of people (true believers born from above) comes together to fellowship in the Word.

Remember our body is the temple and when many bodies (temples) come together, we assembly as a group of bodies (temples) to witness in the Word.

How strong is your faith, is it like a rock (strong) which will withstand the trials and storms or is it like sand (weak) which will crumble after the first trial/storm.

Your faith can be strong by trusting and truly believing Yahuah and His Son Yahusha and being obedience to the Torah (commandments).

Israel's Messiah

Let’s read scripture word for word and see if Yahusha Messiah (Jesus) could have been born on the 25th December!

Before I carry on, I would like the reader to do their own study on this sensitive topic as many of us grew up celebrating the birth of Messiah on the 25th December.

Luke 1:26, and in the 6th month the messenger (Angel) Gabriel was sent by Elohim to a city of Galil (Galilee) named Natsareth (Nazareth). The 6th month according to the Roman calendar would be June which we follow presently.

Luke 1:27-30, Gabriel the Angel came to Yoseph & Miryam (Joseph & Mary) greeted Mary and told her that Father blesses her.

Luke 1:31-34, and see, you shall conceive in your womb, and shall give birth to a Son, and call His Name Yahusha (Jesus). He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High...... And He shall reign over the house of Jacob (Israel) forever, and there shall be no end to His reign.

Luke 1:35, The Angel Gabriel said to Mary that the Set-Apart Spirit (Holy Spirit) shall come upon her, and the power of the Most High (Heavenly Father) shall overshadow her (Mary will be conceived by the Spirit).

Reading Luke 1:36 to 57, it is noted that after a few days (verse 39) Mary went to visit Elizabeth who was 6 months pregnant with John the Baptist.

Verse 41-44, says that Elizabeth was overjoyed with Mary's pregnancy.

If Mary conceived in June or maybe July, then 9 months later the Messiah was born in March or April according to the Roman calendar time.

The scripture does not make it clear that Mary became pregnant directly at the time of the Angels visit. She could have become pregnant a month later! So if she conceived in July (one month later after the appearance of the Angel in the 6th month) then Mary would give birth in April or earlier May.

The Hebrew calendar is different to the Roman calendar as the Hebrew year starts in April/May (Based on our Roman calendar). If the Angel came to Mary in the 6th month (mid to end of month) according to Hebrew calendar which would be end October or November (Roman time), the Messiah would have been born end August, beginning September.

Based on the Roman calendar calculation the Messiah could never have been born on the 25th of December or even close to December.

Does it really matter that we need to know His birth date?
Does the Bible say anything about celebrating His birthday?
Does it make any difference if we know what the reel date of His birth is?
Does the Bible command us to celebrate His birthday?

The answer to all above is “NO!”

Is not Passover much more important?  It is biblical and it involves the Messiah which renewed the covenant by dying and rising for us all.

What then is celebrated on the 25th December??? PS, my intension is not to hurt but to show the truth and I do this with love, please do not trust my words. Test them yourself.

Messiah spoke truth and many wanted to stone Him.

Proverbs of Torah

My son, do not forget my Torah (instructions), and let your heart watch over my commands; for length of days and long life and peace they add to you - Proverbs 3:1-2.

Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.....Proverbs 3:3.

Do not forsake my Torah - Proverbs 4:2.

For the commands is a lamp, and the Torah a light.....Proverbs 6:23.

Guard my commands and live, and my Torah as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart - Proverbs 7:2-3.

The Torah of the wise is a fountain of life, turning one away from the snares of death - Proverbs 13:14.

The Name of Yahuah is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe - Proverbs 18:10.

He who guards the commands guards his life.....Proverbs 19:16.

Those who forsake the Torah praise the wrong, those who guard the Torah strive with them. Evil men do not understand right-ruling, but those who seek Yahuah understand all - Proverbs 28:4-5.

Where there is no vision, the people are let loose, but blessed is he who guards the Torah - Proverbs 29:18.

Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, and what is His Son's Name, if you know it?

Every Word of Eloah (Almighty) is tried; He is a shield to those taking refuge in Him. Do not add to His Words, lest He reprove you, and you be found a liar - Proverbs 30:4-6.

His Name is Yahuah and His Son's Name is Yahusha (Jesus)! And His Torah is His commands (instructions for right living).

A Servant

Matthew 20:25-28, Messiah called them near and said, "You know that the rulers (leaders, presidents, kings) of the nations are masters over them (people), and those who are great exercise authority over them. "But it shall not be so among you (disciples), but whoever wishes to become great (leaders, presidents, pastors, priests) among you, let him be your servant. "And whoever wishes to be first among you, let him be your servant, even as the Son of Adam (Messiah) did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many."

Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Adam (Messiah) did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Isaiah 49:1-7, the prophet describes the Servant that will come in the future to bring back the tribes of Jacob (Israel). That servant is Yahusha Messiah (Jesus).

Isaiah 49:1-7 listen to Me, O coastlands, and hear, you peoples from afar! Yahuah has called Me from the womb, from My mother’s belly He has caused My Name to be remembered. And He made My mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of His hand He hid Me, and made Me a polished shaft. In His quiver He hid Me.” And He said to Me, ‘You are My servant, O Israel, in whom I am adorned.’ And I said, ‘I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for emptiness, and in vain. But my right-ruling is with Yahuah, and my work with my Elohim.’ ” And now said Yahuah – who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, to bring Jacob back to Him, though Israel is not gathered to Him, yet I am esteemed in the eyes of Yahuah, and My Elohim has been My strength – and He says, “Shall it be a small matter for You to be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to bring back the preserved ones of Israel? And I shall give You as a light to the gentiles, to be My deliverance to the ends of the earth!” Thus said Yahuah, the Redeemer of Israel, their Set-apart One, to the despised, to the loathed One of the nation, to the Servant of rulers, “Sovereigns shall see and arise, rulers also shall bow themselves, because of Yahuah who is steadfast, the Set-apart One of Israel. And He has chosen You!”

The Messiah to the servant to bring back the preserved ones of Israel and he the Messiah will be the light to the nations and deliverance to the ends of the earth! Messiah is the Redeemer of Israel, their Set-apart One, who will Serve them.

Like the Messiah is a servant so must we be servants as in Matthew 25:34-40 “Then the Sovereign shall say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the reign prepared for you from the foundation of the world – for I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me, I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, ‘Master, when did we see You hungry and we fed You, or thirsty and gave You to drink? ‘And when did we see You a stranger and took You in, or naked and clothed You? ‘And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and we came to You?’ “And the Sovereign shall answer and say to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.’.

One day, we would want to hear the following words from Messiah to each one of us; 'Well done, good and trustworthy servant - Matthew 25:21 & 23.

Are you a servant - servant of the Good News, servant to the poor/widows and a servant for the Kingdom of Heavenly Father?

Or do you want to be in the front line, the VIP or the leader of the pack. Messiah says the one that is last will be first in the Kingdom.

Religion

"For I (Messiah) say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and the Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens - Matthew 5:20.

What did Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) mean by this!!! What and who are these 2 groups: The scribes; studied the law, wrote marriage & divorce certificates, judged in court cases. The Pharisees; studied the law, would interpret and add to that particular law so that it fit their situation.

Today there Rabbinic Judaism who has a book called the Talmud which is rules and traditions that have been added to the Torah (Yahuah's instruction). There are different books of the Talmud: Babylonian Talmud and Palestinian Talmud. They teach that the Rabbis have the authority to interpret, change and add to the Torah of Yahuah. Pharasaism became Talmudism.

Matthew 15:6-7 so you have nullified the command of Elohim by your tradition. “Hypocrites! Isaiah rightly prophesied about you … His invective, in truth, cannot be equaled.

All of Matthew 23 is like a whiplash. He likened Pharisaism to a whited sepulchre, indeed beautiful outwardly, but "inside full of dead men's bones and of all uncleanness." Messiah climaxed one condemnation after another with the expletive, "Hypocrites!" He called the Pharisees children of them that killed the Prophets. He foretold they would go on killing, crucifying and persecuting until the guilt for all the righteous blood shed from Abel on down would be upon them. "Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?" Messiah asked.

99% of so called believers worship Yahuah by means of traditions carried down from their forefathers. How many times have you heard "What religion are you," many times. Where in scripture does it say Heavenly Father and His son the Messiah are a religion?  Nowhere!

Elohim is a living Elohim to be served in spirit, not something called a religion. We do not serve Them in different denominations (traditions) but in spirit, only one way and scripture tells us how!

The Christian churches and Rabbinic Judaism are no different to the Pharisees, both mix truth with their traditions, adding/taking away from scripture to suit their man made ways and traditions.

Religion is a total abomination to Father Yahuah. The scripture tells us clearly that our body is the Temple where Yahuah's Spirit lives and His Spirit speaks to us personally through our Spirit (Soul) which Father breathed into us.

His Spirit teaches us what is sin, what His will for us is and of His Law. His law the Torah is written on our hearts and when we submit to Him completely by loving Him with our whole mind, body, heart and soul.

We will obey Him and do His commands because we love Him.

Repent of your sins, immerse (baptize) yourself fully in water in the living Name of Messiah Yahusha (Jesus), receiving the living Spirit of Yahuah in our temple (body), submit completely to His will (born from above) and then follow + do His commands.

Once you have been taught by the Spirit the Good News, your commission is to spread the Good News of the Kingdom of Yahuah.

That is all you have to do, made very simple even a small child could understand.

It is not a certain religion or a building with a name, which has certain traditions, these are not found anywhere in scripture from Genesis to Revelation.

No to religion!  Yes to the relationship with the Almighty Creator.

Mustard seed Belief

Matthew 17:14-16, a man came to Messiah begging Him to heal his son who suffered as an epileptic. The man says to Messiah that he had brought his son to His disciples but they could not heal the boy.

Matthew 17:17-19, Messiah Yahusha says to the disciples "how long must I be here with you to believe?" Messiah then rebuked the demon and he came out of the child and he was healed.

One of the disciples then asked Messiah why they could not heal the child.

Matthew 17:20, Messiah said to His disciples they could not heal the child because of their unbelief.... "If you have belief like a mustard seed, you shall say to a mountain to move from here to there, and it shall move there and no matter what you say it will happen.

Then Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) gives us a very important message in verse 21, "This kind of action (belief/instruction) can only be done through prayer and fasting."

Read Matthew 17:20-21 again and again so you can hear and see the message. The scripture is full of miracles of healing. The healing happens! Healings could be on the spot or at a much later stage but the message is clear: through prayer and fasting healings can happen.

Question: do you see these same miracles today? I am sure most of our answer would be "NO!"
Why then do these miracles not happen? The answer is in verse 20-21! BELIEF LIKE A MUSTARD SEED!

This belief you do not learn in a church or from a pastor, or even to say "Yes, I believe in the Messiah," it is much more than that!

You need to believe with everything you have, day and night, second after second, non-stop.

To be able to heal like Messiah did to that child, WE HAVE TO PRAY AND FAST! Not just for a minute or five but for days & weeks. It is Not just lip talk, but complete obedience, totally born again from above, living in no sin, you must be Set-Apart, no uncleanness in your life, totally washed with the blood of Messiah Yahusha (Jesus).

People, we can instantly heal someone today by simply believing, praying and fasting.

With believing comes obedience, love, humbleness and meekness.

Do you not want miracles to happen, I do. I want to move mountains like the Messiah said I can.

Are you hearing this, are your ears open.

Parables

Messiah Yahusha (Jesus) spoke many parables during His walk on earth.

In Matthew 13:10, the disciples asked Him why He spoke in parables, this was His answer (written in my own words): The secrets of the Kingdom of Elohim are given to those who hear and whose eyes are truly open but not for those that are not open. "For whoever possesses (truth), to him more (truth) shall be given; but whoever does not possess (the truth), even what he possesses (truth) shall be taken away. Below are the words from scripture;

And He answering, said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the secrets of the reign of the heavens, but to them it has not been given. “For whoever possesses, to him more shall be given, and he shall have overflowingly; but whoever does not possess, even what he possesses shall be taken away from him. “Because of this I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. “And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is completely filled, which says, ‘Hearing you shall hear and by no means understand, and seeing you shall see and by no means perceive, for the heart of this people has become thickened, and their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back, and I heal them.’ “And blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear, for truly I say to you, that many prophets and righteous ones longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it – Matthew 13:11-17.

How would we know these secrets? Ask Yahusha! And with many such parables He was speaking to them the word as they were able to hear, and He was not speaking to them without parables. And when they were alone, He explained all to His taught ones – Mark 4:33-34.

For-example; if you hear and see in His Word the truth regarding the tradition of Christmas or the only way to be saved is to repent from your sins, be baptized in the Name of the Messiah Yahusha and to follow His commands and you do not take action, then Messiah says that what you have heard and seen will be taken away from you.

Luke 8:17-18 “For whatever is hidden shall be revealed, and whatever is secret shall be known and come to light. “Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever possesses, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not possess, even what he thinks he possesses shall be taken from him.”

In these last days Yahusha is indeed revealing much unto those who obey Him! Unto those who hear and obey whatever truth Yahusha brings to them, He brings more truth. However, those who do not hold on to whatever truth He brings, they lose it all, even that which they think they have.

Mark 4:12, "seeing they see, but do not perceive, and hearing they hear, but do not understand, lest they should turn and their sins be forgiven them."

Read also Isaiah 6:9-10, and He said, “Go, and you shall say to this people, ‘Hearing, you hear, but do not understand; and seeing, you see, but do not know.’ “Make the heart of this people fat, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and shall turn and be healed.”

Messiah says in Matthew 13:16, blessed are your eyes because they see and your ears because they hear, as many will long for it.

Messiah spoke many parables which are written down in scripture, the question is; do you hear and see the parable, is your heart completely open to understanding or is your heart hardened and your ears hard of hearing and your eyes closed.

If your heart understands these things spoken by Messiah, then you have to take action and live this truth because if you neglect this, He will take it away, as mentioned in 2 Peter 2:20-22, those that have heard the truth and do not live the truth, it would be better that you did not hear the truth as you will be worse off than before you knew the truth.

Messiah said in John 18:37, everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.

What are you hearing?

The real “Gospel” (message) is not the popular one.

It is “Repent, for the Reign of Yahuah draws near” - Matthew3:2 & 4:17. Mark 1:15, and saying, “The time has been filled, and the reign of Elohim has come near. Repent, and believe in the Good News.”

All the parables describe it in great detail. The message of the Reign of Yahuah is the subject matter of the parables, which conceals its meaning from those not called. (Many are called, few chosen).

Psalm 78:1-3 My people, give ear to my Torah, Incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I open my mouth in a parable; I utter riddles of old, which we have heard and known, for our fathers have related them to us.

You can praise the Living Yahuah (Heavenly Father) till you drop; but if you will not obey Him, your prayers and praise are an abomination –
Proverbs 15:8-9, the slaughtering of the wrong ones is an abomination to Yahuah, but the prayer of the straight is His delight. The way of the wrong one is an abomination to Yahuah, but He loves him who pursues righteousness.
Proverbs 28:9, He who turns away his ear from hearing the Torah (Word), even his prayer is an abomination.
Isaiah 1:15 “And when you spread out your hands, I hide My eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I do not hear. Your hands have become filled with blood.
Isaiah 59:1-2 look, the hand of Yahuah has not become too short to save, nor His ear too heavy to hear. But your crookednesses have separated you from your Elohim. And your sins have hidden His face from you, from hearing.
John 9:31 “And we know that Elohim does not hear sinners. But if anyone fears Elohim and does His desire, He hears him. James 5:16 confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, so that you are healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous one accomplishes much.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4, Shaul (Paul) states that he does not distort the “Word of Yahuah”, and says:  and indeed, if our Good News has been veiled, it has been veiled in those who are perishing, in whom the mighty one of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the enlightening of the Good News of the esteem of Messiah, who is the likeness of Elohim, does not shine on them.

Satan, has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the Light of the Gospel of the esteem of Messiah, Who is the Image of Yahuah.”

2 Corinthians 2:15-17, Paul speaks also of those perishing, and says something that might really open your eyes: “Unlike so many, we do not trade the Word of Yahuah for profit.”

Remember, the "Word" of Yahuah is His Torah, the Commandments / Covenant that will never pass away until Heaven and Earth pass away.

The first thing a person must do is being convicted of their sin.  Hearing first that their “sins are covered” doesn’t emphasize repentance from sin; it sounds like they can live in their mind of the flesh, “believing”.

Proverbs 26:11 is a clear message; as a dog returns to his own vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.

Let’s not be fools and return to our old ways but hear His truth. Not only hear His truth but keep His truth so more secrets can be given to you by Yahusha Messiah. Do not let Him take it away because you have become lukewarm.

Shalom

“These words I have spoken to you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you have pressure, but take courage, I have overcome the world” – John 16:33.

Shalom means peace but this Shalom means much more! It encompasses wholeness, blessing and well-being.

Numbers 6:26 Yahuah lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.”

Yahuah gives you Shalom.

Isaiah said in 9:6-7 For a Child shall be born unto us, a Son shall be given unto us, and the rule is on His shoulder. And His Name is called Wonder, Counsellor, Strong El, Father of Continuity, Prince of Peace.

Messiah is the Prince of Shalom.

Of the increase of His rule and peace there is no end. At the end, Yahusha (Jesus) will bring Shalom forever!

But for the wicked, the ones who say they believe but in the dark they lie, Yahuah says: “There is no peace for the wrong,” - Isaiah 27:5.
Again; Isaiah 57:21 “There is no peace,” said my Elohim, “for the wrong.”
Jeremiah 12:12 There is no peace to any flesh.
Who are the flesh – The ones living in the world and its entertainment?
Do not be deceived believer! Many people that do not believe or who are lukewarm may seem to be happy on the outside but inside there may be depression, fear and worries.

Isaiah 55:5 But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our crookednesses. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
Messiah took our punishment so we can have Shalom in Him. HalleluYah.
Psalm 29:11 Yahuah gives strength to His people; Yahuah blesses His people with peace.

John14:27 “Peace I leave with you – My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives.

Do you understand what Messiah is telling you in this verse! Read John 14:27 & John 16:33 again! He is telling me; Ernest John, in this world (flesh) you have pressure, persecution, job loss, hunger but if you have Me in you (Spirit), than you will have Shalom no matter what is on the outside (flesh/world).

Acts 10:36 “He sent the word to the children of Israel, bringing the Good News: peace through Yahusha Messiah! He is Master of all.

Romans 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.

May Yahusha (Jesus) bring you Shalom!
